About: I've been caring for dogs since middle school, including over 12 years of hands-on experience caring for my own dog, Aubrey. I've also had family, friends, and neighbors rely on me to walk, feed, groom, and care for their pets. Over the years, I've gained experience with dogs of many sizes, breeds, and personalities, including Golden Retrievers, mixed breeds, Yorkshire Terriers, hounds, Chihuahuas, and Corgis. I also pay close attention to their behavior and overall condition so I can recognize anything unusual and communicate concerns to their owner. During walks, I use safe handling practices and stay aware of the pet's surroundings, other animals, and potential hazards. I want every pet to feel comfortable and cared for while their owner is away.

About: When I was a little girl, I read the warrior cat series and fell in love with cats. I decided I had to have one. It took me over two years to convince my parents, but once I got my first (a five year that had been abandoned at the shelter on Christmas) I was hooked. I love every cat, not just my own. Eventually even the most aloof, unfriendly, feral old curmudgeon of a kitty has my respect. I will never force a cat that doesn't want to be bothered to give me attention. That said, I'm very good at doing towel burritos around them if they do need to get a nail trimming or insulin injection. I love to play with them and find new ways to give them enrichment. I really believe cats deserve the attention and commitment dogs do.

About: Hi there.. I have always owned a dog in my life. I have worked at an animal shelter for 2 1/2 years taking care of the dogs. I have been around most breeds and personality types. I am calm and patient around dogs and know how to read their body language. But I also love to be goofy and playful with them when the environment is right. I believe every dog is an individual and what might work for one dog won’t always work for another. I have some dog training under my belt from working with other trainers and taking classes but I’m not certified yet. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out! I am currently working part time at an animal shelter so I have plenty of time to dedicate to working with your pups! I currently only offer dog walking and stop ins but will eventually start boarding. I currently don’t offer boarding but I will eventually! About: Originally from upstate NY, I spent time working as a professional veterinary assistant in Atlanta, GA while in school. In this role, I worked directly under a veterinarian to monitor, clean, and provide medical check-ups for dogs at local pet centers, while also providing care for other animals at a boarding and daycare resort. Our daily routine naturally includes multiple walks along the scenic D&H Canal trail, which directly borders our property. Because our work keeps us at home, guest pets enjoy consistent supervision, frequent potty breaks, and plenty of playful companionship. Our home sits far back from the road at the end of a long driveway, offering a very quiet, safe environment. We sit on 10 acres of land, featuring 3 groomed acres for supervised play and 7 acres of private woods. While our yard is only partially fenced, we have two large, fully enclosed decks that are completely fenced in—perfect for safe sunbathing, lounging, and secure outdoor activities. We also utilize a collapsible fence that we can pull out and set up to create customized secure boundaries if necessary. For exercise, dogs are strictly supervised and kept on-leash as we head down the driveway to our private access point for the D&H Canal trail, keeping them completely away from traffic.

About: I have experience with many different dog breeds with different energy and health needs. I give all of the animals under my care the same treatment. I would take care of a super senior cat with the same dedication I would a golden retriever puppy. I'm not squeamish at all either, I'm comfortable dealing with body fluids and administering injection and medications. I have volunteered at multiple animal shelters so i've seen it all! “Chaqutia looked after my pup, Ralph, for just over a week. I was nervous about leaving him for such a long period of time especially as he was unwell. Chaqutia put my mind at ease instantly and sent updates multiple times throughout the day of both photos and videos as well as a report of how he did with his food and confirming he took his meds. Any questions I had or suggestions I made, she responded to promptly. She’s a very kind and caring person and also very responsible with things like a camera set up in the room dogs sleep in to check on throughout the night.
