“It was such a pleasure to have Shirley watch our dog. He is a senior dog and requires additional attention. Shirley was amazing and keeping us up to date on how he was doing and he honestly was on vacation himself. He had so much fun!”

“Julia was terrific! She and Bailey hit it off right away. Got a bunch of pics with Bailey out for a walk, playing with toys and a restful night sleep. Will use Julia again!”

“My pug Charlie had another wonderful time with Abbie and Peachy. Charlie feels really safe with Abbie even though she is a little anxious and Peachy is a great friend that helps Charlie to stay active and socialized especially in this cold weather. Outstanding hosts!”

“Wendy was absolutely wonderful. This was the first time we left Phoebe alone and she bonded so well to Wendy. Got updates constantly with adorable pictures. Going forward Wendy will be our only petsitter”

“Lu took care of Choco for 4 days and he was very accommodating with drop off and pick up times. He sent photos and videos daily. He was responsive through texts and always replied promptly. Choco had a great time and will be booking again soon! Thank you.”

“Emily was great with Evie! Very responsive and also made sure we were comfortable with everything. Even though our dog is very skittish around other dogs, she made sure her own dogs stayed at a family member's home during Evie's stay. We will likely use her again in the future if we have to go on any other away trips. Sent a lot of pictures each day to update us. Also, Evie's stay was during the forest fires in Canada so the air quality was bad outside. However, Emily made sure that her air filters were on so we never had to worry about her or Evie. 5/5 stars!”

“This our second time utilizing Diane’s services and it was a pleasure. Our little pup Oreola had a blast being able to roam, be outside everyday, and play time with her new friend. We received great updates with photos and videos! She’s our first choice if available!”

“We had a unique situation that lead us to Eric and he was incredibly accommodating. I forgot my dog's bed and he was able to provide one. He took great care of our shepherd and sent us several photos to show us our dog was doing just fine. Eric is a super nice guy to boot! Would highly recommend!”

“If you want your pup to feel like they're at a home away from home - book with Tina. She and her family (two young children who will entertain your dog endlessly) will provide a loving environment with lots of play and attention. I boarded my 7 year old pit mix for several days and he felt right at home immediately. Tina was great sharing photos and videos of Lincoln playing in the fenced in back and taking lots of walks (I think he thought twice about coming back home :)). So happy I found her.”

“Absolutely recommend. Nari and her family took care of San, a 4-year old Shiba Inu for 3 weeks. From the first moment to the last day, they treated San like family and provided daily updates. I fully trust them 😄”

“Michele was great, she took good care of Zuko and sent a ton of pictures. She was accommodating and flexible to his needs as well. Thank you to Michele for being a great sitter”

She informed about Peter, what he was doing, everything they went for a walk, and she also sent me pictures of him playing with her dogs. About: What truly sets me apart is my lifelong, hands-on experience as a devoted pet parent — especially with senior dogs and emotionally sensitive pets. I cared for my beloved senior dog Rocki for 14 years, supporting him through every stage of life, including the extra patience, gentleness, and attentiveness senior dogs need. Today, I share my life with my dog River and also help care for my partner’s 16-year-old senior dog, so I am very comfortable with senior care, slower mobility, routine-based needs, and gentle handling. I’m highly attentive to body language, emotional comfort, and stress signals, which helps me support anxious, sensitive, or aging dogs in a calm and reassuring way. My home provides a safe, structured, and loving environment where dogs can feel secure and relaxed. I’m also patient and consistent with younger dogs, helping reinforce routines, calm behavior, and positive habits through gentle guidance and structure. Every dog in my care is treated like family with safety, emotional awareness, patience, and genuine love. Pet care is a natural part of my daily life. I structure my days around consistent walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and calm rest periods for my own dog, River, as well as my partner’s senior dog. Because caring for animals is already part of my everyday routine, I’m able to provide dependable, attentive, and structured care for pets staying with me. I prioritize supervision, emotional comfort, and routine so every dog feels safe, relaxed, and cared for throughout the day. In my home, pets are treated like family in a calm, safe, and loving environment. I follow each dog’s normal routine closely, including feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medication (if needed), and plenty of rest and comfort. I pay close attention to body language, emotional needs, and stress signals to ensure every dog feels secure and relaxed. My home includes a fenced backyard for safe outdoor time, cozy indoor rest areas, and close supervision throughout the day. In a client’s home, I respect their space and maintain their pet’s established routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I provide gentle, attentive care, ensure safety, and send regular updates with photos so pet parents always feel reassured while they’re away.

“Great experience with Jonathan walking and dropping in on my Shiba Inu for the weekend while I was away. He is very reliable and responsive and always sent pictures of my dog, which gave me peace of mind. I will definitely be using Jonathan’s services in the future!”

“Ari is AMAZING! Ari comes 3 days a week to walk Ella (my dog) mid morning. Upon meeting Ella he was so curious about her personality and needs, showing that he really cares for her! Ari always comes on time to walk Ella and leaves her with fresh water, and treats. He even tucks her into her blanket to make her feel comforted when he leaves since she has separation anxiety. Ari has gone above and beyond for Ella and I multiple times, he even helped me when I locked myself out of my apartment since he holds a spare key! Ari is very communicative and always updates me with photos of Ella when they are together. Ari is the BEST!”
“Annamaria saved us with a last minute walk for our girl when we weren't able to take her ourselves. She was so sweet with our dog and took her on a great walk. We are so grateful we found Annamaria and will 100% be working with her again! :)”

About: I’ve been taking care of a pet dog for the last 25 years. I’m patient and I love animals. I love to walk the dogs and play fetch. I have plenty of time to walk and care for dogs/cats. Morning or late evening morning seven days a week. I like to bring flexibility to my clients. For my pet at home I take him for walks. He likes treats. He likes to eat once a day. Playful so we have playtime. I wash his face every morning. He like to cuddle so he sits next to me when I’m watching tv.
About: Every pet deserves to feel safe, loved, and genuinely cared for—even when you’re away. That’s exactly the kind of care I provide. As a lifelong animal lover, I understand that pets are family. I share my home with my sweet 6-year-old Cavapoo and my gentle 10-year-old Scottish Fold cat, so I know firsthand how important it is to trust the person caring for your furry family members. Before joining Rover, I worked at Dogtopia, where I cared for groups of up to 20 dogs at a time. That experience taught me how to understand different personalities, recognize body language, manage dogs of all sizes and energy levels, and ensure every pup feels safe, comfortable, and happy. When I was younger, I babysat and walked dogs for relatives and neighbors. I also know that leaving your pet can be stressful for you, too. That’s why I make communication a priority. You’ll receive regular photo updates, videos, and text messages so you can see your pet enjoying their day and have peace of mind knowing they’re in loving hands. When I care for your pet, my goal is simple: I want them to feel as comfortable, happy, and loved as they do when they’re with you. I can’t wait to meet you and your four-legged family member and become someone you can count on whenever you need an extra helping hand. I am currently on summer break from college. From September 2026, I will be available to work at any time on Monday, Wednesday, Friday afternoon/evenings and Saturday and Sunday. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, belly rubs, or simply quiet companionship, I’ll tailor every visit to their unique personality and routine. I believe every pet deserves individual attention, patience, and lots of affection. That is how I am with my dog Flash and my beautiful cat, Princess Leia. Honestly, no request is too much, my dog and cat both are very particular in their ways.

About: Hello fur mamas and papas! My name is Lindsay, IV been with animals literally my entire life. I've had dogs, cat, rabbits. For the past 12 years, IV had three dogs (one we need to say goodbye to after 11 years) a Rottweiler, golden retriever and a little Pekingese. As well as several cats through the years. My absolutely know and fully understand more then anything that these are your babies. Because when I have to leave my animals with someone I want to know they're in the best hands (just like my children!) I love animals, going for walks, playing, bathing. Keeping company. I don't sit on my phone and call it "companionship" animals have emotions and love, and deserve to have the best of that when they're in someone else's care. I know without a doubt your fur babies are in the best hands, and you will feel so comfortable and secure as well. Thank you so much I'm currently working for myself, so this position is perfect! I love that I have the freedom to make my own hours, and do what I love. I do work as well, however I know my schedule weeks sometimes months in advance. So there would never be a conflict if a client (from Rover) scheduled with me. I live in a beautiful big house with a large backyard, completely fenced in. And dog friendly of course! In the backyard we have safe dog approved toys, dog scooper, kiddie pop up pool for the warm months. I also allow my pets I'm watching to be on the couches and beds. I also provide dog beds, water and food dishes. I'm always watching them as well. This is what I do full time and it's my passion!

She sent us daily updates with photos and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind. If she had any concerns, she brought them up right away and was always very transparent. When we dropped Frodo off, we could tell how happy he was to be there - he didn’t even look back at us lol! Britany really knows his personality and quirks now, and it’s clear he feels comfortable and cared for with her. Couldn’t ask for a better sitter!”

“Jana was an excellent caretaker for our shiba inu. When we met her we immediately had the sense that we were meeting someone highly intelligent and empathetic, which are precisely the qualities we look for when seeking out someone to take care of our favorite family member. Jana communicated with us consistently throughout the week she looked after our girl, and put an obviously high amount to effort into making our girl feel happy, safe, and loved. We always feel high degrees of stress when we leave our dog behind, but I can’t think of anyone that could have put us more at ease than Jana. Thank you Jana!”

“Jun G is extremely accommodating generous and sincerely kind. My dog Beau doesn't even look back at me ounce he's with Jun lol. Sends lots of pics video and updates, she is wonderful, I feel very comfortable Beau is safe and in the very best personal home care, awesome 👌”

“Lynn and Richard are lovely. They accommodated a meet and greet for Spots. He's a nervous pup and has stranger danger but he warmed up to Lynn and Richard quickly. We did this overnighter as a test run for the longer stay next week. Everything went well! Hoping more of the same for the longer stay! Maybe a few more pictures and videos would be nice but this time was just overnight so not even 24 hours.”

“I’m so lucky to have found Ruth-Ann and Brandon. I had to take a last minute trip and was worried about finding suitable accommodations for Bleu. These two were amazing and accommodating. I got lots of pics and videos Bleu during my time away. She looked happy and comfortable and that’s all I could’ve hoped for.”

“Absolutely phenomenal! Our experience with Aritra was beyond exceptional. From the moment we dropped off our beloved furry friend, we knew they were in the best of hands. Professionalism and care were evident in every interaction. Aritra took the time to get to know our dog's personality, quirks, and preferences, ensuring a tailored experience. Their genuine love for animals shone through in the way they interacted with our pet, providing not just basic care but genuine companionship. Communication was outstanding throughout the entire stay. We received regular updates, including adorable photos and videos, which gave us peace of mind and allowed us to fully enjoy our time away knowing our dog was happy and well taken care of. The environment provided was safe, clean, and stimulating, offering plenty of opportunities for exercise, play, and socialization. Our dog came back to us not just content but visibly enriched from the experience. In summary, Aritra goes above and beyond the call of duty, treating each furry guest as if they were their own. We cannot recommend them highly enough and will definitely be returning for future pet sitting needs. If you're looking for a trustworthy, caring, and responsible dog sitter, look no further!"”

“Vanessa was amazing with my pup. She kept me updated with photos, was attentive the entire time, and it is clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she watches. I had complete peace of mind while I was away and would absolutely book with her again. Highly recommend!”

About: What sets me apart is the combination of hands-on experience, professional pet care skills, and a home environment designed around each dog’s individual needs. I have about 5 years of experience caring for dogs, including dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I pay close attention to body language, comfort level, and interactions so I can recognize when a dog is relaxed, overwhelmed, or needs more personal space. Pet care is my full-time focus, and I’m both pet CPR certified and a certified groomer. This allows me to provide attentive daily care while also helping with brushing, bathing, coat care, and general cleanliness when requested. My home has a private backyard of approximately 900 square feet for supervised outdoor play and potty breaks, along with additional rooms that allow me to separate dogs based on size, temperament, energy level, or individual comfort needs. I understand that every dog has a different routine, so I do my best to accommodate feeding schedules, sleeping preferences, sensitivities, and other special instructions from parents. I also send frequent photo and video updates throughout each stay. My goal is not only to make every dog feel safe, comfortable, and cared for, but also to give parents real peace of mind while they are away. Caring for dogs is a major part of my daily life and my full-time focus. Because I have a flexible schedule, I’m able to provide consistent supervision, regular potty breaks, outdoor play, feeding, rest time, and plenty of individual attention throughout the day. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog’s personality and adjusting their routine so they can feel safe, comfortable, and at home during their stay. I’m pet CPR certified and also a certified groomer, so I’m comfortable providing basic coat care, brushing, bathing, and grooming services when requested. For longer boarding stays, I’m happy to include a complimentary basic bath when appropriate. For shorter stays, bathing or grooming services can be added for an additional fee. My priority is always to provide attentive, reliable, and personalized care for every dog staying with me. I live in a clean and well-kept home with a private backyard of approximately 900 square feet, giving dogs plenty of space for supervised outdoor play, potty breaks, and fresh air throughout the day. I also have additional rooms available, which allows me to separate dogs by size, energy level, or comfort needs when necessary. This helps each dog have a safe and quiet place to rest, settle in, and decompress without feeling overwhelmed. I have a 3-year-old Border Collie who is very sweet, gentle, and full of positive energy. He has done very well with other dogs and enjoys spending time and playing with them. I carefully supervise all interactions and introduce dogs gradually, while paying close attention to their body language, personality, and comfort level. I never force dogs to interact if they need more time or personal space. Throughout the day, I provide regular potty breaks, supervised backyard time, playtime, and plenty of opportunities to relax comfortably indoors. I also try to follow each dog’s normal feeding, sleeping, and daily routine as closely as possible. Sleeping arrangements can be flexible based on the owner’s preference and the dog’s needs. For dogs who are more sensitive or feel more secure near people, I can arrange for them to sleep in the same room with me. After outdoor time, I clean the dogs’ paws to help keep them comfortable and maintain a clean living environment. I also pay attention to brushing and overall cleanliness throughout their stay. My goal is to provide a safe, structured, and welcoming home where every dog receives individualized care and owners can feel confident while they are away.
“Jonalynn was awesome and came in clutch for a last minute booking with my Bully/Pit mix. She was awesome. My dog Bleu loved his stay and has been sad since leaving her.”

“Naomi had picked up & dropped off our pup for his stay and she was very communicative and punctual. She sent videos of our dog clearly enjoying himself in the space of her backyard, and when he returned he was crying for her has she left!! We will definitely book with her again!!!”
