Chaqutia put my mind at ease instantly and sent updates multiple times throughout the day of both photos and videos as well as a report of how he did with his food and confirming he took his meds. Any questions I had or suggestions I made, she responded to promptly. She’s a very kind and caring person and also very responsible with things like a camera set up in the room dogs sleep in to check on throughout the night. About: I've been taking care of cats since before I could walk. My current cat is a 13-year old rescue Princess with anxiety and extra toes. She might be a little jealous, but I'd love to give your fur baby love and cuddles when you're away. I am comfortable with administering medicine (see: she has anxiety) and with elderly cats (a few years ago, I was living with 3 cats over the age of 16). More than happy to change litter, play games, scratch ears (or butts if your cat is a butt-cat), and accept cuddles. Basically impervious to cat claws at this point. About: Aside from growing up caring for animals, I’ve worked at a dog daycare for about a year. During my time there I learned a lot about dog behavior and how to read their body language. Now, I am currently studying canine training and management at SUNY Cobleskill where I work with a variety of canine’s daily. I start my day off by making sure my babies are fed and have fresh water, followed by going out for a walk and playing outside for a little! I have a dog and a cat who is very shy. If needed I have a crate that can be used.

My husband and I love to take them on long walks in our neighborhood. We live in a beautiful cul de sac neighborhood, with a beautiful large landscaped yard with plenty of room to romp around in. We also have a built in pool that we allow to swim in if owner is on board with that. All play activities are supervised at all times. Dogs are never left outside without myself or husband being present. All dogs that stay at least 7 days get a complimentary bath. We have always had dogs in our life. In addition to the rates. If your dog is picked up by noon the next day there will be no charge. Half day charge will be applied after that until 6:30 PM. After 6:30 PM next night charge will apply. Dogs can be dropped off between 8am-8pm.

Part of my petsitting M.O. is frequent updates (especially photos) to give owners peace of mind. I have a special place in my heart for dogs, but am a lover of all animals and have experience with cats and bunnies as well. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friends! I am a college junior currently at home for summer break. I will be taking two vacations in the next few months, but other than that my schedule allows for extremely open and flexible hours! I approach all pets with gentleness and respect, and i make sure to provide ample time for them to get used to my presence before interactions. I follow instructions thoroughly, so detail there is always appreciated, and I like to be in consistent contact with owners in case there are questions, concerns, or updates. I understand strangers can be nerve wracking for pets and their parents, so I do my very best to earn trust and be patient!
About: If you have an athletic or active dog, we are the hosts for you!!! Trips to parks (on and off leash), running the trails, and swimming in a Lake will happen every day. If your dog is less active, we can bring our activity level to where your dog is most happy and comfortable. I have a very open schedule. Usually I go to the park go with my family who enjoy the day doing things outside the house. If you have a last minute appointment or you need anything on the same day I do take them I have a very open schedule one works in the morning and the other one works in the afternoon so your pet will never be alone. I had pets before they pass away. We used to love our pets so much. We took CPR classes and emergency classes for pets just in case.
About: I work for 2 local school districts and am a true animal lover. I am very respectful, responsible and dependable. My friends and family have always come to me for help and advice regarding their fur babies. I’ve taken care of my own and others loves for over 34 years. I’m looking forward to helping you and your family! With what I do for a living I have lots of down time where I am able to care my time with the fur babies . I will follow exactly how you want your fur babies to be taken care of in your home. Over the years I have learned that it is stressful to move your pet when you vacation or have to go for work. The babies seem to do much better in their normal environment . I will also provide the extra love, kisses and belly rubs . I do need to mention that I will watch your home and take care of the fur babies needs but I do not sleep at my clients homes.

This was only the third time with a sitter and second boarding my Whiskey dog overnight; but never have I felt as content as when he was with Judy, her wonderful family & beautiful home. “Chaqutia looked after my pup, Ralph, for just over a week. I was nervous about leaving him for such a long period of time especially as he was unwell. Chaqutia put my mind at ease instantly and sent updates multiple times throughout the day of both photos and videos as well as a report of how he did with his food and confirming he took his meds. Any questions I had or suggestions I made, she responded to promptly. She’s a very kind and caring person and also very responsible with things like a camera set up in the room dogs sleep in to check on throughout the night. She was flexible with both pick up and drop off times and really listened to our needs Her home is beautiful, large and on a very quiet secluded road which was reassuring as less traffic. About: I’ve been around dogs all my life! I grew up in the country side of Ireland and had many sheep dogs through my childhood. My love for animals started at a young age and quickly learned how smart and special they truly are. Through out the years I’ve developed an intuitive approach to caring for each animals individual personality and needs. This is my full time job Monday through Friday. Rates are listed but please note ! (Anything over 8hrs is an additional $20/hr) for daycare. I have a fenced yard for your dog to play and would never have more than 5/6 dogs at a time.I also live in a very walkable neighborhood with sidewalks and I’m close to , parks, farms, and nature hikes. Sadly I no longer have a pup of my own as he recently passed away.

“Angel was just terrific with our dog, Sasha, who can be rather anxious. Sasha came down with a stomach thing two days before we were going away. I offered a couple of options to Angel because I was worried that Sasha would get up in the middle of the night and need to go out (and might not ask!). Angel wasn't phased and said no problem. In the end that didn't happen, but Angel was willing to get up if needed. Sasha seemed very happy. Since their backyard isn't fenced in, Angel put up a great enclosure so Sasha could play and hang out safely outside. We look forward to her next visit with Angel!”
