About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember and have been pet-sitting since age 10 for family, friends, and neighbors. I have almost always lived with at least one cat or dog (or both!) throughout my life. I also have experience caring for rabbits, ferrets, gerbils, fish, parakeets, bearded dragons, and cockatiels. I currently live with two indoor tortoiseshell cats who are comfortable with dogs, and one of my cats is leash-trained. I have raised and trained at least 11 dogs from puppies to adulthood (3 as my own and the others for my parents). Most of my cats I adopted as teenagers, but I have raised a few kittens from a young age. I have done extensive dog training with the 3 dogs I raised as my own in the past, and I am familiar with both dog and cat training techniques. I live in a cabin the woods in Boston, NY, on a power line gravel road. Although I do not have a fenced in back yard, your dog will enjoy going on leashed walks down the power line road multiple times per day! I earn a living through a mix of substitute teaching (summer starts June 25th!), remote research and writing gigs, tutoring, child care, and pet care. I have a flexible schedule and incorporate pet care into the mix as much as possible because I love animals. If I am boarding a dog at my home, I will not be house sitting at that time (and vice versa). While boarding or house sitting, I will consider dog walking and drop-ins depending on the needs of the client and driving distance. If you board your dog at my home, my cats and I wake up early (about 6am) and I like to go outside for a walk down the power line road right away, and then eat breakfast. Your dog will be able to spend time with me all day (on a leash when we are outside), and if I need to leave my house, they will be in their crate for no more than 4 hours (2 is my strong preference). We will go for at least one more walk before dinner, too. I will be sure to give them plenty of play time and exercise throughout the day (depending on their level of activity and how hot it is outside). No matter what, they will get a lot of love and attention! I live in a cabin in the woods in the Town of Boston, NY, so although I do not have a fenced-in yard, there is very little traffic or people around. I will be able to go on long leashed walks with your dog down the power line for exercise, and there are a few friendly neighbor dogs that would love to say hello if your dog is up for that. I do live with two cats: one of them will hide a lot while your dog is here, but the other is very dog-friendly and will want to interact with your dog. I will monitor and separate them as needed (I have a spare room). I have always crate-trained my dogs and so long as your dog is comfortable in their crate, I will use it as a safe place for them to be while they are staying with me.

About: I’ve loved dogs since I was wee child. 8 years ago my now husband and I got our first puppy (a pitbull/rat terrier mix) named Dudley and have since grown our four legged family by four! A 3.5 year old Daniff (Great Dane/English mastiff mix) named Aspen and three domestic shorthair kitties, varying in color (an orange included), named Chug, Nova and Wee. Despite the 2 dogs, 3 cats and family I still have time to spare throughout the days; especially during the school year. I’ve been walking dogs for friends and associates for about a year and I’ve really enjoyed the freedom and relations I’ve found along the way. I have experience with dogs of all ages/sizes. From 40lb corgis to 150lb mastiffs, your pup is safe with me and will likely find a new best friend. I would love the opportunity to walk your dog or drop in for a visit/play date! **I do have a 6 year old that comes with me during the summer so I am limited to child friendly dogs during that time. My schedule is almost always open and flexible aside from not being available on weekends. I am currently unavailable on Tues, Thurs and Fri (from 11AM-12PM) for a preexisting client. Because I have 5 pets of my own, I am unable to offer services from my home. With that being said, respect is first and foremost. Your house, your pets, your rules. I always like establishing the blueprint for what my visits will look like. Also have an above ground pool that your pup can swim in with my help if they like to. During the school year I am out of the house Mon-Fri from 7-4 so I can take dogs for boarding on Friday's starting at 4 or after. My favorite thing is to be home with my dogs on the weekend so most likely the shortest amount of time your pup(s) will be home without a human is 2-4 hours max. When I am home, the dogs are my first priority, with many walks, brushing, massage and pampering included in each visit! If your pup needs a bath and is well-behaved in the tub, I'd love to freshen them up! (I do not cut nails). All of my pups are on flea and tick prevention year round. Please reach out if you have any questions! I am home all day during the summer months so I can watch your pup 24/7! I have older pups who love to chill and a younger golden who loves to run around and play so whatever kind of dog you have they should fit right in. No aggressive dogs please! About: I’ve had a dog all my life. I adopted my most recent pup about 2 years ago and he’s a happy pooch. We walk three times a day and visit our nearby park regularly. He gets his yearly shots and monthly nail trimmings. I am the go-to choice to sit my friends’ pups, and have senior dog and puppy experience. I work from home, so can keep an eye on the pups and play with them regularly. I currently walk my own dog three times a day, visit the nearby park (Harlem rd park) after work most days, and visit Knox Farms dog park once or twice a month in the summer. I have a small yard 90% enclosed, so walk dogs regularly. There are friendly neighborhood dogs that we can interact with. I work from home, so play with the pups often. I promptly clean up accidents, if they do happen. I do not smoke and our house does not have animal smells. It is carpeted and we have a big sectional that animals can lounge on. We have a cat that has high safe places he can go to. I reward good behavior with praise and an occasional treat. Bad behavior is met with a stern “No”, but we have not had to break that voice out lately!

About: I have been pet sitting for about 15 years, everything from quick play dates to extended stays lasting over a month. I've worked with a variety of dogs including a 13-year old 4 pound chihuahua, a vizla that required 5 or more hours of solid exercise a day, a 160 pound mastiff that thought he was a lap dog, and a very scared dalmatian/husky/german shepherd mix that needed some serious work on social interations. I've dealt with skunk attacks, bee stings, an intestinal blockage and various types of aggression. I AM NOT CURRENTLY ABLE TO STAY OVERNIGHT DURING SITTINGS. I KEPT IT IN MY PROFILE BECAUSE IT IS LESS EXPENSIVE THAN BOOKING MULTIPLE DROP-INS At the end of last year I ended up taking in 3 Doberman puppies that I had dog sat for regularly. I was able to find a home of one of them but the other two are still with me. Because of this I am not able to do extended stays that require me to be gone overnight or dogs that cannot be left alone for a few hours due to separation anxiety or medical reasons. But if your dog is friendly please consider boarding! I currently work from home with flexible hours most of the time. My schedule is very accommodating and I love being able to take advantage of nice weather or last minute requests. The yard where I am is NOT fenced in, but it is very large with several acres of wooded area in the back. For dogs that need to stay on leash there is a long tie out and plenty of walks. I never let the dogs play outside without supervision. There are two other friendly dogs on the property (in addition to my own 2) and two dogs next-door that come over to play all the time. So we have our own mini, well-mannered, well-socialized dog park.
About: I’ve loved dogs since I was wee child. 8 years ago my now husband and I got our first puppy (a pitbull/rat terrier mix) named Dudley and have since grown our four legged family by four! A 3.5 year old Daniff (Great Dane/English mastiff mix) named Aspen and three domestic shorthair kitties, varying in color (an orange included), named Chug, Nova and Wee. Despite the 2 dogs, 3 cats and family I still have time to spare throughout the days; especially during the school year. My schedule is almost always open and flexible aside from not being available on weekends. I am currently unavailable on Tues, Thurs and Fri (from 11AM-12PM) for a preexisting client. Because I have 5 pets of my own, I am unable to offer services from my home. With that being said, respect is first and foremost. Your house, your pets, your rules. I always like establishing the blueprint for what my visits will look like. I, of course, am trying to cater to your pet and understand they all have different needs; some are anxious, food/treat motivated, some need lots of exercise. I assure you, no pet is too big or small for me.
About: I adore my basset hound and english bulldog. Plus I have had experience working at a dog groomer and a doggie daycare. I have never met a dog I did not enjoy. I have recently graduated from high school and am working part time. So I have plenty of time to play with your dogs. I can be flexible with time of day to walk your dog. About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I’ve been actively caring for pets since I was young. I worked for 5 years at the PetSmart PetsHotel while attending college, where I gained hands-on experience with dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, personalities, and needs. About: I have been working with dogs since I was in 6th grade. I trained my childhood dog through a 4H program and we completed at the county fair each year in Obedience and Rally. Now I have a rescue who over the past 4 years we've helped work through a lot of reactivity and she now is an active participant in Rally competitions and other classes. As a teacher my summer is wide open for walks and drop in visits. Once the school year starts after school and weekends are open. I'm very comfortable with dogs of various sizes and needs. About: I love dogs and had one for 17 years! Our good boy recently crossed the rainbow bridge and we miss him so much. I have experience with young dogs, but also with senior dogs I am currently available during the day every weekday, so whether it’s an early morning or late afternoon walk, I can be there no problem! About: I was previously a veterinary assistant. Additionally, I was an Animal Cruelty Investigator for 4 years. I have extensive experience with animals and animal care. I am currently working at a veterinary clinic mostly everyday, but am looking to spend extra time with your dogs and cats on my off time! About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was a kid. I grew up on a farm, and we always had animals to care for. Currently, I have 1 dog and 4 cats, we rescued a cat family. I am working part time so I will have plenty of opportunity to care for your dog. Anytime would be a good time for me to board your pet, drop in to house sit or take your dog for a walk. You can rely on me to show up as agreed and care for your pet as if it were my own pet! I am very careful to not let a pet escape. A dog in a fenced yard would still be watched by me during visits. About: I’m a nurse full time but for my side gig i always have watched my friends/co workers dogs for about 3 years now! I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my whole life and know the importance of my pet being loved and taken care of when I’m not around ! I work a set 4 10 hours hour shift a week! My home is always open to any animal but I would rather stay at your home for the dog/cat to feel more comfortable and be in there own environment! I do work full time, but I know how hard it is finding a quality person to watch your babies. I have a flexible job so I can make any schedule fit! About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember and have been pet-sitting since age 10 for family, friends, and neighbors. I have almost always lived with at least one cat or dog (or both!) throughout my life. I also have experience caring for rabbits, ferrets, gerbils, fish, parakeets, bearded dragons, and cockatiels. I currently live with two indoor tortoiseshell cats who are comfortable with dogs, and one of my cats is leash-trained. I have raised and trained at least 11 dogs from puppies to adulthood (3 as my own and the others for my parents). Most of my cats I adopted as teenagers, but I have raised a few kittens from a young age. I have done extensive dog training with the 3 dogs I raised as my own in the past, and I am familiar with both dog and cat training techniques. I live in a cabin the woods in Boston, NY, on a power line gravel road. Although I do not have a fenced in back yard, your dog will enjoy going on leashed walks down the power line road multiple times per day! I earn a living through a mix of substitute teaching (summer starts June 25th!), remote research and writing gigs, tutoring, child care, and pet care. I have a flexible schedule and incorporate pet care into the mix as much as possible because I love animals. If I am boarding a dog at my home, I will not be house sitting at that time (and vice versa). While boarding or house sitting, I will consider dog walking and drop-ins depending on the needs of the client and driving distance. If you board your dog at my home, my cats and I wake up early (about 6am) and I like to go outside for a walk down the power line road right away, and then eat breakfast. Your dog will be able to spend time with me all day (on a leash when we are outside), and if I need to leave my house, they will be in their crate for no more than 4 hours (2 is my strong preference). We will go for at least one more walk before dinner, too. I will be sure to give them plenty of play time and exercise throughout the day (depending on their level of activity and how hot it is outside). No matter what, they will get a lot of love and attention! I live in a cabin in the woods in the Town of Boston, NY, so although I do not have a fenced-in yard, there is very little traffic or people around. I will be able to go on long leashed walks with your dog down the power line for exercise, and there are a few friendly neighbor dogs that would love to say hello if your dog is up for that. I do live with two cats: one of them will hide a lot while your dog is here, but the other is very dog-friendly and will want to interact with your dog. I will monitor and separate them as needed (I have a spare room). I have always crate-trained my dogs and so long as your dog is comfortable in their crate, I will use it as a safe place for them to be while they are staying with me.
