About: When it comes to cats I do have an allergy. I have only cat sat for one cat twice. I provided some play time and scratches, from 30 minute to an hour before my allergies kicked in and I had to leave, and feeding of meals and cleaning of litter box.

About: I grew up with two dogs and two cats my whole life! I’ve been a pet sitter to my family members and friends for the past decade and love animals. My job and travel schedule does not allow me to have my own dog full time but I would love to have the opportunity to take care of yours :) I’m very responsible and caring to pets and humans!! I work full time but work from home Thursday/Friday and of course am free on weekends! I can re-arrange my WFH schedule to best suit your dogs needs. When I work from home I typically have very few if any meetings, instead I go on walks or runs and enjoy the outdoors (weather permitting ☺️) I have a fenced in terrace that is 25 x 20 ft for any dogs to enjoy at their leisure when I pet sit! I am very responsible and vigilant as a sitter. My primary concern are the pets I’m sitting and will be very consistent with that mindset for the duration of their stay.

About: I have been caring for and grooming dogs and cats since I was 12 years old, and I am comfortable with both dogs and cats. I am always available for pet sitting, I work from home and I am more likely available for the weekdays and weekends to pet sit. I have a big yard that my two dogs love to run around in. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a child. I owned two Miniature Pinschers growing up and I adopted one Australian Shepherd mix that has special needs as an adult. I trained all of my dogs from the time they were puppies until they passed away as seniors. I also volunteered at the Humane Society of Westchester. I've always enjoyed being around animals since I was young and animals tend to feel the same way about me. Animals who are usually timid around strangers are comfortable around me right away and they seem to trust me right away. I feel like connecting with animals (dogs specifically) is a gift that I have. Being a sitter is a great way for me to use that gift in everyday life. New clients get a free 2027 desk calendar that has photos of my clients and my dog as well (check my photos for a preview). I'm able to adapt to the normal routine of the pets that I'm sitting in order to make the process as smooth as possible. I don't have a lot of room in my studio apartment so I'm only able to watch either 1-2 small dogs or one medium sized dog. Large dogs are too big for my apartment. If I'm at a client's home, I'll change my schedule to meet the needs of the pet. I believe all animals are unique and all have different needs in order to thrive in the environment that they're in. I'm willing to meet those needs by building my schedule around the animals that I'm sitting.

Your dog can sleep and hang-out in whatever area of the house is comfortable to him or her. If they prefer a crate, we can. If they prefer their own room, they can have my lower level finished room. If they like to mix it up with the family they can. We cater to your dog and help to diminish their stress and let them be themselves. If the pup is stressed and needs extra attention at night, they can sleep in the bedroom, ( sometimes on the bed, only if you allow that) . I have cared for multiple senior and special needs dogs, providing medication, and special care routines. We look forward to getting to know your loving pet and offering them a home away from home! Pet Care is a dominant share of our daily lives. Someone is here most of the day, so lots of interaction and attention is provided. If we run out , here or there ( as you would at home) each dog get’s their own space to hang-out. Dogs visiting from different families are only together, when supervised. My Home-Away-Vacay-Stay has a fully fenced yard with plenty of toys. Run of the house and cuddles with our family make your pup feel at home.

About: For the past three years, I’ve volunteered at a local animal shelter with my mother. I completed my senior internship there and now volunteer on my own. In my time at the shelter, I’ve gained lots of dog walking experience, especially with young puppies. I’m familiar with shelter training techniques and with cleaning and sanitation. I have two dogs of my own, one of which is a difficult walker. I know how most types of dog harnesses work. I’m going to college in September, so I’m not available for long term arrangements that go past summer. I’m used to animals with a wide range of play styles. I have a dog that loves to play fetch and go for swims, and I live near a large trail system, so I’m most familiar with those forms of enrichment. I have a minivan and can drive dogs to dog parks, trails, and fields.

“Nandita was absolutely wonderful! We set up a meeting ahead of time to make sure my rescue would get along well with her dog Ozzy and my pup was immediately comfortable with her (you can tell she’s a dog person!) and she helped him get comfortable and acclimate to her space before we confirmed- this really put me at ease. During my dog’s stay Nandita sent regular photos and videos so that while I was away I always knew that my pup was content and happy. She has excellent communication throughout the whole planning and visit and as an added bonus her space is perfect for a dog stay especially her backyard, dog friendly neighborhood, etc. I look forward to booking with Nandita again and really think she is an incredible dog sitter.
