About: I have owned both cats and big and small dogs and am experienced in training, raising, and taking care of all types of dogs in various states of health and ages. I love all animals! I work part time as I am applying to masters programs right now, so I will have plenty of time for dog walks and animal drop ins! About: I have been living with a dog (at one time with 3) since 2010. We recently said goodbye to our lab/retriever mix and are not quite yet ready to adopt a dog again but we miss having a dog around. As a pet parent I understand how stressful it can be finding reliable care and finding someone who will love your dog as much you do. It can also be tough when you find out you have to work late and will need someone to come to your rescue to let your baby out and feed them. When I’m not walking dogs, I’m taking care of my human children (who also love dogs) which means I have a somewhat flexible schedule, and I spend a lot of time outdoors. We are also well trained in administering insulin and other medications, or feeding special diets. We both work from home most weeks and are available to care for your dog either during the day and/or overnight, while you are away. We did a meet and greet prior to her sitting my 2 dogs, and all I can say is WOW-- she was perfect! Marcelina is warm, loving, intentional and overall a wonderful person. My dogs took a liking to her immediately. I felt no worries leaving town, I knew they were in good hands. During my leave, she updated me with photos and videos of their adventures-- she of course spoiled them with a good time :) I will be using Marcelina in the future.
