“Cara and Dan were wonderful to work with. Sadie is a rescue and can be very skittish so I was delighted that she was so comfortable at their house. She warmed up to Cara more than Dan but I really liked both of them very much and would book again! Thanks Cara and Dan for providing a safe and caring environment for Miss Sadie🐶”

“Jose was great! We booked last-minute, and he was very communicative throughout the entire process. This was the first time we left our pups for boarding so we were a bit nervous, but we felt comfortable leaving them with Jose. Both of our dogs seemed to have enjoyed their time, and we will be sure to rebook with Jose in the future!”

“Ada and Micheli took great care of our dog while we were out of town for a week. Our dog, who has seizures every few months, is on a bunch of oral medications that she takes at specific times. Though our dog did not have any seizures while we were away, I was nervous finding someone who is attentive to those specific needs. Ada and Micheli provided daily pictures and updates during her stay, including an occasional photo of giving our dog her medications. It provided a peace of mind. Our dog looked to be very satisfied to stay with them. Thank you again, Ada, and Micheli!”

“Elliot and Dominique took such wonderful care of our pups! This was our first time ever boarding Gabe and Angela Basset. They loved Elliot and Dominique from the minute they met them. They took such great care of our dogs. Loved the daily texts letting us know how they were doing, including adorable pictures of them! They even sent report cards home with them. Would definitely leave our pups with them again!”

“5 stars. Kimberly got back to us right away when we first inquired, flexible with our drop off and pick up times, and sent us several pictures and brief updates while we were away. When I picked Buddy up after his week-long stay he was happy and content - like he just had a great playdate. When we inquired, we found out the holiday rate was different from the posted rate - it would be good to have that out there.”

“Our cat, Blanche, was comfortable with Paige almost instantly, so we knew she would be a great fit for us! Paige was timely, a great communicator, and flexible when we asked her if she would mind coming a bit early to grab a package delivered to our front porch. We would absolutely hire her again! Thank you so much, Paige!”

“Heather did a great job with my 2 cats and managed to give medication to my anxious one. She communicated well and left things tidy. I would definitely rebook with her next time I go out of town!”

“Priya was AMAZING! She took excellent care of my two cats (one who requires medication multiple times a day). It was my first time leaving my cats alone for an extended period of time and I couldn’t have felt more at ease and comfortable with the care she provided. I will definitely book her again :)”

“Rachel was awesome taking care of our 3 cats. She communicated quickly and clearly after each visit and sent high quality photos of all the cats. We felt that they were in good hand and would definitely call her again!”

About: I adore cats just as much as dogs, i even had a beautiful stray Maine Coon mix follow me home and declare I was his parent XD. I’m well equipped to read cat body language, gauge out whether they want to be engaged with or not, and know how to clean and sanitize litter boxes (along with any other care instructions)

“We are so happy we found Rico. Our cat gets so stressed out when we leave her overnight. Rico took such good care of her. She acted like we had just come back from the grocery store after being gone for four nights. She was so relaxed and happy! On top of that the house so clean one could not even tell anyone had been there! Thank you Rico for taking such exceptional care of our Maxine! Best pet sitter EVER !”

“We were so pleased with the spectacular drop-in care Ona provided to our two beloved cats. Our older cat is 19 and needs special meds, which Ona delivered with ease. Ona was timely, thorough, communicative, diligent and most importantly kind & caring. We could not recommend Ona more and will absolutely book again.”

“Vivian was great with taking care of my cats, and was even to get my very shy cat to be comfortable around her. Also a great communicator (and sent very cute pictures!)”

About: I've had pets in the house for as long as I can remember! Growing up we had dogs of all sizes, cats, turtles, tortoises, fish, and frogs. I have experience with dogs of all breeds and sizes, from Yorkies to Rottweilers, and love them all. I currently have one cat named Olive, and plan to adopt a dog once I'm able to move to a larger space. I'm ready to take care of anything your pet needs - bathroom breaks, cat litter scooping, cleaning up accidents, refreshing water and food, play time, brushing, oral medication, etc. I'm currently working from home a few times per week, so I have a lot more flexibility in terms of scheduling pet care and walks. Summer weekends are typically busy, but if I'm in town I'm happy to help you out. I will always care for your animals as if they were my own. My goal is to make them as comfortable as possible, especially during the first meeting. I'm always on alert for changes in body language and behaviors that may let me know their comfort level. Every pet is different, but I can guarantee that I will treat each as the very best girl/boy there is.

About: I've almost always had cats in my life, I grew up with them and adopted my own as an adult. I have experience with kittens as well as seniors and in between. I also have experience leash training kittens. I will be obssesed with your cat even if they are hesitant about me. I've cat sit for kitties that are happy to see me and grumpy ones that want me to kick rocks. I respect their boundaries and love them all! I also have experience caring for other animals so lemme know if you need someone to watch your goat (or other unique pet)! 😁

“Fabiola is awesome. She took great care my cat, Milo, for several weeks. She was happy to accommodate late minute request to extend the stay. She's very patient and looks like my cat enjoyed his stay with her.”

“Ricardo was so great with our dog! Took him out for a walk in all kinds of weather, and he came home happy and tired. Great communication and updates - we are hoping to work with him again soon. Thanks Ricardo!”

“Alex was a great host for daycare! He was able to accommodate our schedule, great communication throughout the process, provided daily updates and pictures of Milo's stay. Milo had a wonderful space to play and nap all day, would recommend for anyone needing services.”

“Elliot and Dominque are wonderful! I’ve used them for daycare a couple of times to get my pup comfortable there before an upcoming trip next month. I know he’ll be in good hands. I very much appreciate their professionalism and frequent communication/updates!”

About: I've raised two energetic puppies through adolescence and frequently provide dog-sitting services for friends in the area. I also have experience working as an enrichment specialist at a well-known doggy daycare in Rochester and volunteering as a foster for local rescues. I am experienced with anxious dogs and can adapt to your fur-baby's specific needs. I'm trained in basic human and canine CPR, and I'm skilled at recognizing early signs of reactive behavior in animals. While I'm not perfect, I'm highly attentive. Since I’m home most of the time, I’ll ensure your pet stays healthy, happy, and safe! We are an adventure duo -- you can catch us at the beach playing fetch in the water, hiking, or just taking long strolls along the canal! On days where the weather is rainy, we still get 3 walks a day (morning, noon, evening) with thorough wipe downs after! Meal times are interwoven with short training sessions. I have dedicated several rooms in my house to doggy activity areas -- agility equipment, floor mats, etc (see photos). Grooming is done very regularly. My pup has environmental allergies so we also do a water rinse daily when we return from our adventures. When your baby stays with me, they will receive the same treatment (if they are comfortable getting brushed). He is my entire life and I couldn’t be happier! I have included photos of my home (and the excessive amount of dog toys we own) in my profile. Several of the rooms in my house are dedicated to doggy activities/enrichment and I also have a fenced in yard. I have also made sure that my set up allows me to separate dogs from each other if they ever get over stimulated -- I have enough rooms where each dog can be in their own room. I also have a doggy door so most days when the weather is not atrocious the dogs can relieve themselves/play as they please. Also my sun room is dedicated to dog care so if need be I can gate off/separate pooches that get too worked up (or just need privacy eating). I do have two crates — one for super small dogs and the other for dogs up to 35 lbs. My dog is crate trained but prefers free range so I have dog beds in every single room. Dogs are welcome on furniture but please make sure they have been recently bathed (within a few days before) if you are boarding as we keep our home extremely clean (the carpets get washed every month and vacuum and swiffering are done daily). We are probably not a good fit if your dog does not get along with other dogs, because my dog is still young and very energetic. If your dog does not like to play but does not react aggressively to other dogs attempting to initiate play, Momo would be fine as he does eventually give up if the other dog does not engage him at all. When we schedule a meet and greet, you can expect to meet us outside the front yard for a couple block long walk together before going to the backyard to let the pooches sniff each other out. Since Momo is a chow-mix, he is protective by nature and does not like it if other fur-babies he does not know well try to jump on his mom so I will likely only greet your baby after I put him back in the house.
About: I grew up on farms in the south, so I've been around animals my whole life. I moved to Rochester specifically because of how dog friendly it is. I think dogs deserve to be treated like family because they are our family! I work from home taking care of pets is my main job. If i could fill every hour of the week with animals, I would! I give every dog the time and attention they deserve. I have a fenced in back yard and a friendly dog of my own to keep yours company. I send pictures throughout the day to let you know how your pup is doing!
“Rachel provided kind, attentive and friendly care to my girl Lucy. She provided photos and updates on Lucy and how her day was going. I feel that my girl is in great hands and that I trust Rachel is giving Lucy all the love and attention she needs!”

About: Murphy and I are a tag team! Please only reach out if your pets are good with other dogs. I’ve always been the girl who is obsessed with dogs. I grew up with dogs and I was the one who took care of them, and that love for caring and training has only grown. I’m the type of person who needs a lot of “outside time” so my soul dog Murphy and I spend a good amount of time playing in the courtyard and going on multiple walks a day; I truly don’t know who’s happier. Currently, I have a very open schedule and it’s just Murphy and I at home all day. Some evenings I babysit for my family out in Spencerport, but kid friendly dogs are welcome to come with me and there is also a large yard (not fenced in, but there is a 30 ft leash set up). I have a fenced in grass courtyard where the dogs can play, and my apartment is very open and there’s lots of room for dogs to play inside. My dog Murphy does not need to be crated when left alone, but I have a small cage in case anyone who visits needs it. Murphy has more toys than I care to admit, so your pups will have lots to play with.
“Norman loved going to Anthony and Jayson’s! They took awesome care of him and were quick to help me with daycare when something came up with my normal dog sitter. I will definitely be using them in the future!”

“We are new to the area and didn't know anyone who could watch our dogs for the day while we moved from our rental into our new house, so using Rover was an obvious choice. We needed someone to pick up our two dogs early at the rental and drop them off late at the new house and Adriana agreed to both. Even when I contacted her to ask if she could keep them a little longer since the move wasn't complete, she agreed to do so without any additional fees. She didn't even complain when one of the dogs threw up in her car and defecated in her home. (Sorry about that!) I would definitely call on Adriana again if the need arises.”

“Quinn took AMAZING care of Jose!! He loved being outside in her yard and playing with the other dogs. I received photos/videos every hour as well as updates on how he was adapting. I will definitely be taking him there again! Thanks Quinn!! 😊”

“Sydney took our two large dogs so I could concentrate on enjoying the company of my young grandchildren without concern of them being knocked over. We dropped them in the morning and picked up at night. We got pictures of them going on good walks, and Sydney was great about responding to texts. We would definitely have her watch our boys again.”

“Susan is one of the most considerate, thoughtful, animal-loving humans I have ever met. Our girl Kismet is always in fun, safe hands with this family, and we always get lots of great video updates :) Thank you for being Kis's home away from home! ”

“I really am so happy with the care my dog received here. She was happy and would have probably been happy to stay and play with these wonderful humans! It feels great to know that she is being loved a LOT! Highly recommend.”

“Mary Ann was communicative, flexible, and returned us a tired dog that got two walks while in her care for the day. She sent photos and updates as well. Would strongly recommend Mary Ann.”

“Matthew took our high energy high anxiety pup for walks twice a day while I took care of my terminally ill mom. He was reliable, friendly, and wonderful with Evie. Thank you Matthew!!!”

“Caroline was super accommodating with our young puppy's (and our) needs. She was up for us walking along with her, so our puppy could get feel more comfortable around her for the first meeting. Definitely will be requesting Caroline again for help with our puppy!”

“Alexandra helped us out last minute and took great care of our dogs, and even showed our cat some love too 😊 We will definitely be contacting her again in the future and would recommend her to anyone needing pet care.”

About: Hi there! My name has since changed to *Romeo* as I am queer :) Ive had experience with all sorts of animals since I was a young! My heart however has always lied with dogs. Ive lived with, trained, and taken care of dogs from age 15. Professionally, I am currently a counselor at Camp Bow Wow! I’ve been working there for over a year now, learning and applying a wide range of skills. In this role I’ve learned some key skills on how to ensure companions are safe and happy: 1. Body language: I observe everything from your dog’s head to tail to minimize reactivity due to human- animal misunderstandings 2. Health indicators: although I’m not a vet, I was trained to recognize irregular symptoms a dog may be displaying such as stool texture and consistency, body temperature, excessive panting and drooling, gum color, etc. Anything your dog may be struggling with from itchy skin to something greater, I’ll notify you right away! 3. Communication: parents love hearing about their babies and seeing them happy and comfortable! By regular communication, this allows me to get clear instructions to follow, assess any changes needed in care or routine, and stay up to date in case of any rapid changes or emergencies. In addition, what sets me apart is my artistic attention to detail, which allows me to adapt to your dogs needs in a creative way. I like to challenge myself by finding ways to stimulate and enrich your dog while you are away! I’m very relaxed, quiet, and easygoing, but also spontaneous and go-with-the-flow should your dog get the zoomies! I’ll get mine out with him :) Lastly, I respect peoples spaces/ privacy and always clean up behind myself after using something in your space. I'd love to give your dog my unconditional love and undivided attention. Your baby is not just a pet, they are our best friends who depend on us. So Relax while you’re away, and leave the fun stuff to me! Looking for regular/ recurring clients :) I currently work part time on weekdays, twice a day for up to 7 hours. This is subject to change within the next few weeks to ensure I have time to House sit efficiently. Please reach out to me with questions about this, and I’d be happy to negotiate! I love being outside, especially in the company of some furry friends. I understand that your dog may either be a nature pet or a couch potato, and I'm able to adapt to your pets needs depending on their personality. I'm clean, quiet, and active when need be. Cleanliness is a priority for me. Cleaning up waste properly and right away is a must, including picking up poop during walks.
About: I've had pets in the house for as long as I can remember! Growing up we had dogs of all sizes, cats, turtles, tortoises, fish, and frogs. About: In highschool I was very popular in my neighborhood from doing there dog nails, to dog sitting, over night stays, and even medications. Even back in high school I had a part time and school and still made sure the fur babies were taken care of. To this day I still dog sit for my neighbor. I also worked at a doggy daycare for about 6 months then i moved, I learned so much while I was there in that short period of time from learning to gain respect and how to control a group of 15+ dogs . And was in a animal science program in highschool with a mentorship at a clinic, then tried to go to college for my vet tech degree but too expensive(still paying that off). I also do have a very energetic German shepherd who I train every day she knows pretty much everything(sit, lay down, roll over, paw, other paw, high five, spin, heel, center, look, leave it, back up, and wait). I also dog sat for my boyfriend's coworker who had an older pointer who had a seziure not only did I comfort the dog but I called owner asap then vet, I then called off of work. Just because it's not my animal doesn't mean I will love them any less. But the take away from all that is I have a lot of experience in the animal department. I'm currently working part time and have a lot of free time on my hands and love being around animals . I only work wensday-saturday the other days I'm free. But as you can see with my profile I do have my own fur baby but my boyfriend never works nights or weekends so she won't be alone. For the pets at clients housing not only will I respond to you text asap even if I'm busy, I will also ask for guide lines and try to keep your dog on the schedule you have them on consistency is key, especially when a change like you leaving happens. I also am a big over thinker so before I let the dog out if you have a yard I will always make sure the gates are close and secure and make sure there's nothing laying out that would harm them. When I dog sit I imagine as if it's my own dog.
“My dog Luna instantly loved Heather, and I felt very comfortable leaving her in Heather’s care for the day. Heather was responsive, timely, and I could tell that Luna was well taken care of and having lots of fun. I would HIGHLY recommend Heather to anyone looking for pet care!”

About: I make time to care for dogs on my free time and love to make them feel special. I help busy hardworking owners feel relieved when they can work and know that their dog is in good hands. I am a student that is currently studying full time at my apartment and am available to schedule dog care. I am very organized and am able to set time for studying and pet care and play time. I can play with them and give them enrichment. I can pet them to soothe them. I can encourage drinking water to keep them healthy. I am very vocal when it comes to encouraging and letting pets know they are doing something well.
“Rebecca is amazing! So diligent and organized and detailed. She is a true professional with loads of experience, and I feel so good about leaving my pup in her care.”

About: I come from a family who has always had multiple pets at a time, with anywhere from 3 to 10 foster dogs under our care at any given time! I’ve cared for a wide range of dogs from smaller poodles and Shih tzus to much larger retrievers, border collies, and German shepherds. I have experience with cats as well, but much more lengthy experience taking care of dogs of different sizes and temperaments :) I am a med student so my schedule varies in flexibility but I live in a very walkable area and typically spend a lot of time at home studying! I love taking long walks in between classes and studying and would love to bring a furry friend along with me :) As I do have to be in classes some days for a few hours (no more than 3-4 at a time), i am better boarding pets who can be left alone for a couple hours. As for my home, I have plenty of space for them to run around freely.
“Rico is amazing with our two Irish Red & White Setters. As he learned today, Truvy is very adept at scaling fences. Rico was on top of the situation and thwarted her planned escape.”

About: Whether it’s potty-training the family dog or teaching a hunting dog to retrieve, I’ve been around them for pretty much my whole life. I currently travel for work so it’s just kitty and me for now, but I love helping whomever I can to take the best care possible of their furry family! I travel and work remotely, so I have time throughout the day to dedicate to providing the best experience I can for you and your pet(s)! I treat my clients’ homes like a place of business; courteous, professional, and I endeavor to leave it better than I found it. I’m very thorough when following instructions and will clarify any questions I have before making assumptions.

Dogs I have cared for in the past, have been known to miss me after they went home and were excited to see me again the next time. I am almost always available, very punctual, quite active, and I love having a furry four legged companion on a walk or a nice long hike. I am a full time student. My availability is generally open in the afternoon and evenings during the week, with full availability on the weekend. I like to follow instructions so a list is handy, I can take your pets on walks or hikes, and im very good at keepimg animals company and entertained.
