How many visits are there per day? The number of visits is determined by you, the pet owner. Normally, cats require only one or two visits per day, unless medications need to be given. Dogs usually have two to three visits per day at morning, midday and evening, but the number of visits and time of visits are at the client's discretion. 2. How long are the visits? The length of each visit depends on the client's needs. The average visit lasts 30-45 minutes, but longer visits may be requested and the price would be adjusted accordingly. 3. Will you provide services other than animal care? I can also bring in the mail, open/close blinds as needed, take out the trash, clean litter boxes as needed, turn lights on or off, etc. to provide your house the security it needs while you're away. 4. What will happen if my pet becomes ill while I am away? You will sign a vet release form at the time of the first visit. If you're pet becomes ill while you are away, I will contact you first, unless I deem it to be an emergency. In the case of an emergency, I will take your pet to the vet you indicated on the vet release form. If their office is closed, I will take your pet to the emergency vet clinic. 5. Will you spend the night? I am available to do overnight stays on most occasions. This type of visit usually requires more advance notice so that I can mark those dates on my calendar. 6. What if you are ill and can't take care of my pets? If I have an emergency or become ill, my fiancé and my cousin are my backups. They both love dogs just as much as I do and are both very experienced, and will make sure your pet receives the same love and attention as well as the specific services you requested. Please give them my phone number. - Leave my name and phone number with others who will also be coming into your home while you are away. - Have timers on lamps throughout the house that will come on and go off as close to your routine as possible. - Leave an outside and an inside light on for me if our first visit will be after dark. - Be sure you have my cell phone number and email address with you at all times. PLEASE CONSIDER: - If my only access to your home is by using the garage door code and the power goes out, how will I get in to care for your pets? I really will need a house key. - If you have given me limited access to your pets by only giving me access to the garage or the yard, how will I be able to properly care for your pet in an emergency?
