About: I have had animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with always having a dog in the house and then about 3 years ago I adopted 2 cats. I have 1 year old dog and 2 cats in my home. I often dog sit my friends elderly pup along with my parents coworker trusting me to look after her cats while shes away. I am very trustworthy and reliable. I work full time and am typically available anytime after 3 on Mondays, anytime Wednesday, and after 5pm Thursdays/Fridays. I have every other weekend off, so some weekends may vary with times available. When it comes to dog walking or drop ins, I am also available to stay at your home for some extra socializing and playtime for your pet. At home my dog is on his leash outside as I don’t have a fenced in yard. My cats are also free roam throughout the house with two liter boxes spread out that I clean daily. I am comfortable with both types of animals and both on leash and off leash dogs.

About: Hello all! My name is Emily. I’ve been a dog lover my entire life. When I was 9 years old we got our family dog (a Havanese) and 6 years ago I adopted my soul dog petunia rose (pitbull). I sadly lost petunia in July to cancer and helped her daily for the last 6 months. I miss being around a smiley, happy, energetic dog but also found peace In helping animals who need a little more care and kindness. If you are looking for a walker, a sitter for the day, someone to administer meds, or just sit with and give some love while you’re at work, I'm your girl. I know how protective of my soul dog I was and I understand that trust is needed when going into someone’s home and watching their baby. I can assure you that I am a trust worthy, respectful and loving person who will treat your animal as if it were my own. I can’t wait to see all the fluffy babies I get to meet! I currently work full time Monday through Friday. Tuesday and Thursdays I work from Buffalo and Monday, Wednesday, Friday I work from home. I would be available MWF after 4pm and T/TH after 630. I’m free all day on Saturdays and Sundays! I make sure to ask questions and follow directions that are left by the owner carefully. I only go into rooms I am allowed and only touch items that are a part of caring for your animal. Your home is your home and I am only there to do a job of watching after your child! About: Cats have always had a special place in my heart! I grew up with a cat who was part of my family from childhood until he passed away a few years ago, so I have many years of firsthand experience caring for and living with cats. They are truly one of my favorite pets, and I especially love how every cat has such a unique personality. I understand that some cats want all the cuddles and attention, while others need a little more time and space to feel comfortable. During college, I also cared for my teammates’ cats over winter breaks, making sure they were fed, had fresh water and clean litter boxes, and, most importantly, got plenty of attention and companionship while their owners were away. About: Up until around age 10, we had multiple cats in our home of all types and ages. One distinct example was an elderly cat named Socks who we adopted after her owner passed. Socks only liked the presence of my mom at the time but it was a great learning experience regarding the boundaries of certain animals and understanding that they are all worthy of love even if they might not show that love back right away! I now have had a small Tortishell cat named Nyx since 2022 and often cat sit for our friend who has a large formerly outdoor cat of which breed she is not entirely sure.

About: I have had dogs of my own. I had a lab and a yorkie silk terrier. I treat dogs like they are my children. I will take them on fun walks, make sure their well fed and play with them. I always make sure my focus is on the dogs so they don't feel lonely! Something that sets me apart from other walkers and sitters is that I like cardio. So just walking alot or even running with the dog will not only help me but the dog too! I was responsible for walking the family dog when I was younger, volunteered at a shelter walking dogs every Saturday morning for 5 years, and have owned a dog myself for the last 20 years. My current dog, Bruce, and I are a registered therapy dog team, which required a lot of training and building of trust between us. He's a border collie (though he's slowed down in his old age) that needs his daily walks and play time. I understand how stressful it can be to leave your pets with someone. You need to be able to trust them and I promise to take care of your dog with as much love and care as I take care of my own. I have 4 cats, so you pup MUST be good with cats. I work from home everyday so I am able to take care of potty breaks as needed and provide attention and playtime throughout the day. Building trust with an animal is etremely important. I am careful to keep an eye on body language so that I know when an animal wants more or less attention, needs to go for a walk, or needs to play. My own dog has been trained to walk on a loose leash by my side and does not pull. I've had plenty of experience walking shelter dogs who had no training though, so I can handle quite a bit. I regularly interact with my cats depending upon what type of interaction they want. I have two cats who love to play with toys on strings, and two other cats who prefer to be showered with pets. I am a believer that if you pay attention the animal will let you know what it's boundaries are.
