About: Cats have been a huge part of my life since I was young. I always had cats around minus a few years I had some serious allergies as a kid! As an adult I've owned my own cats for almost 8 years and have taken care of animals my whole life. About: I had my own baby who unfortunately passed this spring and am looking to fill my life with more kitties. I also have experience in cats with high anxiety and administering oral medication for cats. About: I’m back! If you’re new here, I recently reactivated my profile. I've been the designated dog-sitter among friends and have taken care of family dogs most of my life, including two puppies. As an active person, I'm open to various energy levels. If your dog is laid back or has a little extra energy, I can spend the preferred time and attention needed. About: I currently have medium-sized two dogs of my own but don’t worry, when I take care of yours they stay home with their dad. :-) I have lots of experience with reactive dogs and understand the extra care and attention they sometimes need in order to give them a good life. I’ve done lots of positive reinforcement training with my own reactive dog and understand the patience needed for anxious pups. I will treat your dog with respect and dignity while keeping them safe. Keeping them safe is my #1 priority! I work for myself so my schedule is fairly flexible. I'm happy to help out during the week to walk your dog while you work those long hours at your shift or in the office. I don't let dogs play with other dogs while on walks due to safety. I'm never on my phone while walking dogs. There are too many variables that can happen! I'm familiar with the various types of collars, walking harnesses, etc. (I tried them all with my pup!) I keep the dogs moving on our walk, although depending on client requests, I will give dogs adequate time to sniff. (Sniffing is a form of canine enrichment, after all!)

I've never watched bunnies, but with instruction from the owner, I can certainly care for them too. I can't care for snakes, sorry, they freak me out. I'm currently employed at a 9-5 job, but it's remote with flexible hours. I love playing with animals and am very good at tiring out energetic pups. If I'm pet sitting for you or walking your dog, you can trust that you'll get your money's worth and your pet will be cared for like it was my own fur-baby. Typically whoever I'm sitting for will let me know what kind of house "rules" or routines are done with their pets and I stick to those. Whether that's a specific walking route, only being allowed in certain rooms, not being allowed on the furniture, whatever. When it comes down to it, I want your pet to feel comfortable and happy even though they're favorite people (their family) aren't around.
