About: I’m back! If you’re new here, I recently reactivated my profile. I've been the designated dog-sitter among friends and have taken care of family dogs most of my life, including two puppies. As an active person, I'm open to various energy levels. If your dog is laid back or has a little extra energy, I can spend the preferred time and attention needed. Whether it's going on a walk, run, outdoor activity, playing, bathing, or making sure the essentials are taken care of (food & water, bathroom breaks, etc.), I can step in as your dog's "temporary" best friend. About: Cats have been a huge part of my life since I was young. I always had cats around minus a few years I had some serious allergies as a kid! As an adult I've owned my own cats for almost 8 years and have taken care of animals my whole life. I know not all cats are the most keen to strangers but I'm very gentle and easy going when it comes to meeting any animal. Let me help you when you can't find the time!

We frequently pet sit for my brother-in law's German Shepard, who is full of energy, of which I have learned all the commands and public interaction techniques. We also have 2 cats but they will probably hide most of the time. We are available at all times for pet care. I usually walk Kenzie in the morning, sometimes later in the day. We are very flexible based on the needs of your pets! We can give your pup lots of attention and play time, or they can have quiet time away from everyone. About: Hi, I'm Jackie! I have had pets for over 20 years and am a huge animal lover. I have three cats and a dog - who are all incredibly spoiled. I also have experience with fish, reptiles, small pets, and birds as well. I care about any animal’s health and safety first. In my own home, I try to let the dog I’m sitting be as comfortable as possible - whether that’s being my shadow, hanging out on the couch, or supervising the neighborhood through the window. My dog, Banner, is 7 years old, 85lbs, and he loves other dogs - he’s very gentle with older or small dogs, too. While he likes to play in little bursts, he does not have puppy energy like he used to and my home wouldn’t be the best for a dog who needs a ton of playtime.

“Amazing! Our first time using Rover and Amber set the bar! From the start, she made us feel comfortable leaving our puppy in her care. Very knowledgeable in puppy’s and their quirks. She is very communicative - from questions before booking, through booking changes, and while our pup was in her care - kept me posted on how he was doing and even provided pictures! Something that really helps a first time puppy mom! She also kept our puppy active which was great after a long trip - he slept the entire night and even slept in late!! “Ok, so i’m a little biased as they are our neighbors. but the fact is, i have watched them for 5 years take in dogs to watch, and take them on walks and play in the yard. i have seen firsthand how much love they give their dog sitting. so as a newish dog owner, we had no question that we wanted Dennis and Melinda to watch our pug! Pugs can have special needs and they have taken extra care of our dog. We were gone a week and had no worries leaving our pug with Dennis and Melinda. I recommend fully and will use them again!”
