About: I have had many dogs over the years and have trained and cared for all ages and stages. I have experience with reactive dogs, resource guarding, post surgery care, wound care, and medication. I have medic training and am not squeamish when it comes to wounds or illnesses. Public meet ups take place at Ryder park in Dewitt or Canal Landing in Fayetteville. When requesting please provide date and times you are free to meet. I do not offer tours of my home. After a public meet up I can arrange a tour of the yard if needed. This is for safety of dogs and people. Taking a break from the 9-5 job and staying home hanging with the dogs. Have availability to take on a few more dogs due to the passing of my current clients pets. Dogs are unique with their own needs and boundaries. I have a fully fenced back yard that dogs can access using a doggy door. Each dog (or family if siblings want to be together) are booked into their own room that is set up for their specific needs. The dogs gets to decompress and given whatever space they need to be happy and relaxed. I have crates of every size if the dog needs one. I do not crate unless there is a safety concern. Dogs have free reign of the house and yard as long as I am home. If I am not home the dogs are in their rooms which are video monitored (maximum of ~4 hours). The rooms are closed off with gates so dogs have open view of hallways. I use TV or music to create background noise. Dogs do not interact without supervision and any dog introduction is done slowly and never forced. The house is large enough that should a conflict arise the dogs can be placed in separate levels of the house and not interact. When dogs stay with me I see them as my dogs and treat them as family.

(I work at a golf course as well.) I’m available everyday of the week, except for some weeknight afternoons and weekend mornings - but this changes frequently so my schedule is pretty open. About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life!, my first dog when I was little was the same age as me from age 1-to age 10! Growing up with her was a great experience we were best friends and did everything together! For years I’ve stayed at my aunts house twice a year to dog sit her dogs when she would go on vacation, I also stay with my dads dogs when he goes out of town quite frequently. I live in a home in Baldwinsville with a medium size yard that would be perfect for a short vacation for your dog (or dogs!)! I have summers mostly off, so if you're planning a summer mini-getaway or need someone to check in on or stay with your pup while you're gone for a night (or two!), I'm more than happy to help! I have experience dealing with older dogs who may need a little extra help getting outside or may need medication, so I also feel that the calm cozy environment I could offer them may be beneficial.
