“Andrea is a beautiful, intelligent and compassionate professional. She cares about the animals she looks after while 'pet parents' are away. She reduces anxieties naturally by listening carefully and observing astutely. Hygge had never been away or 'boarded' for pet sitting prior to my experience with Andrea. At all times she was communicative, caring and purposeful in her interactions with Hygge, who probably worried about being in a new home away from home for a few days on many levels. My transportation plans were delayed due to a severe storm that prevented my scheduled pick up, and Andrea was patient, reasonable and loving during my own stress about being stuck in NYC beyond my control for the pick up of my dog after traveling for a few days. She worked with me every step of the way, and the boarding experience was a total success even with transportation issues. Hygge returned home happy, healthy, well-nourished and satisfied with renewed confidence in his ability to work with another lovely family in our sweet community in a spirit of trust and sucess. All in all, I would recommend Andrea to work with anyone who has pets they love and want to broaden the scope of their pet's world by allowing Andrea to work with them and care for them. Our baby suffers from allergies, and she was great with keeping up medications and updates on symptoms. It was his first birthday not at home with us, and she went out of her way to ensure his day was special and got him special birthday treats. She made him feel comfortable, very loving and truly caring. I can tell she has a big heart, and really has a love for animals, I saw she really cared. About: I’ve had dogs my whole life. Right now I have a Beagle and a German Shepherd so I’m used to caring for all dogs of different sizes. I’ve dog sat for people in my town and I am able to flex my schedule to meet the specific needs of your dog. I’m currently a college student, student teaching full time. So I am at a school from 8-3 Monday- Friday and off the weekends. I have a big yard at my home, which provides plenty of room for fetch. I have two dogs that are very friendly to new dogs. I can also stay at your home if preferred. I can dog walk, keep a strict feeding schedule, and give frequent potty breaks throughout the day.

About: As an experienced and long time foster, I have cared for dogs in my home with varying needs and personalities. I provide lots of affection, as well as necessary structure, to ensure a balanced and fun stay for all. I also have a sweet, Boxer-mix Zoe (50 lbs), and a Sato from Puerto Rico named Ellie (15 lbs), who love their foster siblings, and boarding mates & love to play, cuddle, and bring them out of their shell, especially little dogs. About: When I was a little girl, I read the warrior cat series and fell in love with cats. I decided I had to have one. It took me over two years to convince my parents, but once I got my first (a five year that had been abandoned at the shelter on Christmas) I was hooked. I love every cat, not just my own. Eventually even the most aloof, unfriendly, feral old curmudgeon of a kitty has my respect. I will never force a cat that doesn't want to be bothered to give me attention. That said, I'm very good at doing towel burritos around them if they do need to get a nail trimming or insulin injection. I love to play with them and find new ways to give them enrichment. I really believe cats deserve the attention and commitment dogs do.

Inside, I provide a cage-free, home-style environment. Guest dogs have free roam of my home and are treated like part of the family rather than being kept in kennels. I will use a crate if an owner requests it because that is what their dog is accustomed to at home. I accept dogs of all sizes and personalities and take time to learn about each dog’s temperament, routine, habits, and individual needs before their stay. I limit boarding to a maximum of three guest dogs at a time so I can provide close supervision and personalized attention. With more than 15 years of dog-boarding and care experience, creating a safe, loving, and comfortable environment is always my priority. About: I usually take my friends dogs on long walks and the come over to spend time with me or I go over to her place to watch them. I’m currently working part-time! So I’m available most days to play with pets! I love animals especially dogs. I show then a lot of love.For some reason dogs always loved me back. I have woods in my back yard. About: I grew up with lots of animals in my house my whole entire life. Everything from birds, reptiles, fish to basic ones such as cats and dogs. In summer I was on farm with horses, cows, pigs, chickens and much more. I have been watching dogs for as long as I remember. Both in my house as well as other homes. About: I have experience with many different dog breeds with different energy and health needs. I give all of the animals under my care the same treatment. I would take care of a super senior cat with the same dedication I would a golden retriever puppy. I'm not squeamish at all either, I'm comfortable dealing with body fluids and administering injection and medications. I have volunteered at multiple animal shelters so i've seen it all! Currently, my only commitments are helping to babysit younger family members, which is flexible schedule and only part-time. About: I've been taking care of pets since before I remember. Growing up I cared of neighbors', family members' and friends' pets on a multitude of occasions to go on long walks, feed, bathe, and give attention to whilst they are away. About: I’ve had dogs my whole life. Right now I have a Beagle and a German Shepherd so I’m used to caring for all dogs of different sizes. I’ve dog sat for people in my town and I am able to flex my schedule to meet the specific needs of your dog. I’m currently a college student, student teaching full time.
