John arranged a meet and greet several hours later where he and our dog took to each other instantly. His house is clean and accommodating for a pup, or more! His fenced in backyard is great and the neighborhood he is in is quiet and safe. The very next morning is when we needed him for, so our dog was dropped off bright and early. I got a couple updates a day via messages and every message included at least 3-4 photos and videos. From the start you could tell he was attentive based on the questions he was asking me. We’ve never used Rover before and Luna has never stayed with anyone other than a few family members so it was a first for all of us. “Where do I even begin? Heidi and her family were life savers. I had a different host that I had booked well over a month before my trip, and on the day of drop off I could not get a hold of her. She gave my girl a homemade pup cup, sweet potato and rice on her food, and all the snuggles. About: Since I was little, my family has always had at least some kind of animal in the house. 7 years ago when I got my first cat of my own, Daisy. She is my best friend, and our bond is like no other. It seems like I'm the only one in the house she can tolerate, as she has a pretty spiky personality. 3 years ago in the fall, I got my second cat, Simba. In these 7 years of owning and caring for my fur babies, I have cat and dog sat on and off more times than I can count. I usually do sitting and care outside of my home, because my cats can be dramatic and aren't very open to other animals stealing their spotlight. When I was back in home state, I had been sitting for about 8 years on and off and grew up taking care of all types. About: Growing up, I've had a couple of dogs. Our first was a mix (part husky, terrier, etc.) named O'Doolie who lived to be 16! I was young when we had her, so I don't remember her puppy years. Our other dog we had since I was in elementary school up to my early 20s was Dixie Lee. She was a Miniature Schnauzer and was the sweetest dog ever! I enjoyed bathing her, brushing her teeth, and giving her so much love and attention. My husband and I work together as landscape designers! During the winter months, our schedule is very slow. This provides us more time to engage ourselves in other fun and creative endeavors! Currently, I have an unfenced backyard. I live with my husband in a small home. I enjoy being able to spend time with other people’s pets and ensure they are cared for and have the same routines and schedules as when their pet parents are home. I’ve cared for friends and family's animals in the past. I can administer medicine, follow feeding schedules, walk, play and spend quality time with your pets while you are away. My husband and I moved from Indianapolis to New York in October of 2022. We’ve been spending most our time on home renovations and loving how peaceful our new home is. I am available to stay in client’s home and/or provide drop in care and walks as well. I will follow instructions provided so that you feel confident your pet is well cared for and I will update you with pictures and check in regularly.
About: I've been around pets my whole life they are the best thing ever created. I've had a 3 dogs and about probably 13 cats in total growing up. Animals are my passion. I've always taken care of my fur babies before myself. When it comes to my fur babies - they have been a part of my life for nearly a decade. Whether its my own, families, or friends - I'm always striving to offer my attention and care to making sure our four legged friends are not only taken care of but shown love. I'm blessed that I routinely get to balance my week by reducing the burden on pet parents seeing more of my furry friends! I live in a house with a fenced in back yard and a cat that is a sweetheart. I treat other people's pet like my own.
About: I am a pet owner and animal lover. I have experience caring for cats, dogs, horses, birds, fish, and rodents. I have worked with many animals and am comfortable grooming, walking, feeding, playing with and caring for your pets. I also have experience in medication administration I have been a volunteer at the SPCA and have participated in their pet care summer programs. I've spent most my life caring for all different types of animals and would love to help families out by doing the same for them. She really went out of her way to make sure they were taken care of and providing me with updates and pics throughout thier stay. She was also very accomadating when my schedule was changing as well as dealing with my one dog who is very anxious and hyper active. He was more at ease with her than I would have anticipated after meeting for the first time. I will be using her again in the near future and would definitely recommend.”

“John was great from the start! I inquired about using him as a last minute weekend sitter. I was in full panic mode because our usual sitter was unavailable due to emergency. John arranged a meet and greet several hours later where he and our dog took to each other instantly. His house is clean and accommodating for a pup, or more! His fenced in backyard is great and the neighborhood he is in is quiet and safe. The very next morning is when we needed him for, so our dog was dropped off bright and early. I got a couple updates a day via messages and every message included at least 3-4 photos and videos. From the start you could tell he was attentive based on the questions he was asking me. We’ve never used Rover before and Luna has never stayed with anyone other than a few family members so it was a first for all of us. We would 10/10 use John again and we hope this review helps others feel at ease with his services!! :)”

About: I just lost my 13.5 year old shepherd, I have been skilled in taking care of him and his old age and needs, I spent his whole life training him in German and English. I spend all day with dogs and know dog behavior very well, I have worked in boarding facility’s giving meds and food and walking dogs and learning their specific personalities. I groom dogs during the week when I’m done working I am free and certain days i have free time to care for others loved babies Care for your pets in your home where they are safe and happy, teach me how you and they like to be loved and cared for and I will always follow every direction given.

“Where do I even begin? Heidi and her family were life savers. I had a different host that I had booked well over a month before my trip, and on the day of drop off I could not get a hold of her. I was in pure panic mode, and I found Heidi. She lives even closer to my home so that was another bonus. I got all the pictures and updates constantly. She treated my fur baby as if she were her own. She gave my girl a homemade pup cup, sweet potato and rice on her food, and all the snuggles. I know that she was truly in the best hands, and the first host falling through was a blessing in disguise. I would definitely book with her again!”
