About: I have spent most of my life taking care of animals large and small. I have grown up with dogs, cats and also had horses since a very young age. About: I’ve always took a liking to animals and always had postive bonds with them. Over the years of growing up my grandfather owned several big dogs and cats. While others would shy away, not me I always helped out and didn’t mind watching them. I currently run an online business which has allowed me to have so much time for my daily clients. Due to my freedom I’m able to provide walks as often as every two hours or less for my puppies. I also get to spend my days cuddled up with my temporary babies. Caring for any pet at my home or others will be very similar I will need to know any notes and any restrictions for me and the dog. As I would give them my complete attention so that it’s a little vacation for them as well as subtracting feeling neglected.
About: Common courtesy and communication is paramount. **Willing to travel up to an hour away. Just because Rover says you are outside my service area it does not always mean you are. I have clients an hour North and South of me. **Necessary update as of 6/21/23** I will require current credit card info be on file at your vet or provided for me in your pet write up ONLY in case of emergency. In the event of an emergency and I could not get a hold of the human, puppies have no pockets to hold a card, the vet required me to pay. I have raised 3 separate RESCUE Rottweilers to be exceptional ambassadors of their breed. I currently do not have any pets since my big boy passed away in 2016. I hope to again one day have my own dogs. Until then I will love YOUR pet. **I DO NOT board animals at my home. Only repeat clients would MAYBE be possible for a very short amount of time.** Clients pets have included many breeds, species for days, weeks. Many Golden Retrievers, Doodles, mixes aka Heinz57s, Old English Sheep dog, lots of kitties, a chameleon, turtles, a bearded dragon, a small bird, fish, Rottweilers, a very challenging but lovable English Bulldog and Huskies one of which was very reactive. Oh and a LOT of house plants! PLEASE NOTE: I am deathly allergic to horses which I am very sad about. Any type of animal requiring LARGE amounts of hay would also be a problem i.e, goats, cows, alpacas I am sorry to say. Small rodent animals requiring hay for food or bedding has not been a big deal. My personnel dogs were very public dogs, parks, events etc. With the ever present fact in mind that as good as my animal was it is still an animal. Never purposely putting them in a situation to be loose (unless at home or a fenced park) or get into anything that could harm them. Read quite a few books/manuals by military working dog trainers in hopes of training a service oriented Rottie. Came very close to passing the Good Citizen certification but my dogs never liked the “stay” part when I had to walk away with my back turned. They just had to be next to me. So close. PLEASE NOTE: I have my preferences set to NOT to show any photos of YOUR pet publicly. I would ask permission first to share. Photos only NEVER infomation of course. My schedule allows me to be available to be in YOUR HOME, with your pets all day/night, unless noted ahead of time and of course trips to the store. I have many types of animals that insist on sleeping in bed just like they do when their people are home which in fine by me. Just take some Benadryl and snuggle on in. I try to stick closely to how the home runs normally so the pets do not have any surprises that can make them anxious. Sleep, food, walks, play time etc. I supervise dogs in their own yard fenced or not. I am very organized and like an outlined idea of their schedule to be written down for me to follow as closely as YOU would.

About: I have taken care of animals my whole life. Been boarding and running daycare full time for 10+ years. I have studied dog behaviors, CPR trained, used to train and have spent my life learning dogs. Part of my business is even making pet products like bow ties, bandanas, toys, healthy treats, signs and organic paw wax. I run my boarding and daycare full time. It is what i live every day. I board 7 days a week and run daycare Tues-Fri We have a large dog specific room which daycare is run out of (while boarding your dog can join daycare for no extra cost) this room has a dog door that leads to the large fenced in yard. Once daycare is complete or dog dependent, the door comes open and the pups join our pack (2) snuggling on the couch and begging in the kitchen 😉

I foster dogs for a breed specific rescue, with medical and severe behavioral issues so I’ve seen it all. About: I grew up with all different kinds of animals as a child, and I had my own dog, which was a Yorkie. I know how to take care of dogs with disabilities and extreme anxiety as I dealt with that with my own dog. I genuinely love all dogs and I can’t wait to be able to have one of my own but for now dog sitting/dog boarding is just what fits with my life. I recently helped take care of a 6 month old puppy in the city even helping with training. I also took care of my roommates 2 Australian shepherds this summer (1 of them does not do well with other dogs at all) and so I had to be extremely careful when taking them on walks/keeping tight hold on the leash. I work from home every day of the week and I have pretty flexible hours and ample time to take care/walk dogs. I would love to have a dog in my own butt unfortunately, New York City is expensive and I thought this was a great way to interact with dogs without having to own one myself. I live right next to a park which I can take the dogs to multiple times per day. I’m also a morning person and love to go for runs and walks before work and if I have a dog staying with me, I would be more than happy to bring them with me.

About: Growing up, I've had a couple of dogs. Our first was a mix (part husky, terrier, etc.) named O'Doolie who lived to be 16! I was young when we had her, so I don't remember her puppy years. Our other dog we had since I was in elementary school up to my early 20s was Dixie Lee. She was a Miniature Schnauzer and was the sweetest dog ever! I enjoyed bathing her, brushing her teeth, and giving her so much love and attention. My husband and I work together as landscape designers! During the winter months, our schedule is very slow. This provides us more time to engage ourselves in other fun and creative endeavors! Currently, I have an unfenced backyard. I live with my husband in a small home. In the future, we’d love to put in a fence— we have just found we haven’t needed to just yet!

My husband and I moved from Indianapolis to New York in October of 2022. We’ve been spending most our time on home renovations and loving how peaceful our new home is. I am available to stay in client’s home and/or provide drop in care and walks as well. I will follow instructions provided so that you feel confident your pet is well cared for and I will update you with pictures and check in regularly.

I also have a dog tie out that goes from the house down our hill.
About: I’ve always took a liking to animals and always had postive bonds with them. Over the years of growing up my grandfather owned several big dogs and cats. While others would shy away, not me I always helped out and didn’t mind watching them. I currently run an online business which has allowed me to have so much time for my daily clients. Due to my freedom I’m able to provide walks as often as every two hours or less for my puppies. I also get to spend my days cuddled up with my temporary babies. Caring for any pet at my home or others will be very similar I will need to know any notes and any restrictions for me and the dog. As I would give them my complete attention so that it’s a little vacation for them as well as subtracting feeling neglected.
About: I’m a mother of two boys.. who is very loving and caring. I have about 2 years experience of having cat and a dog. Very good at knowing what a animal needs I’m very flexible… I’m sure we can make something work. I’m available in the early mornings usually. After you have shown me your schedule that you would like to work with I then Fit in my schedule. When I’m caring for a pet I’m a clients home the 1st thing I check for is if they have eaten Also if they need to be walked.

I have worked with many animals and am comfortable grooming, walking, feeding, playing with and caring for your pets. While I was in the Navy, I’ve consistently sought opportunities to care for others’ animals and now that my military service is over, I can’t wait to spend even more time with some four legged creatures. I excel with medium-sized dogs and active pups, but I can accommodate most breeds. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. I’m living my best life as a stay at home dog mom while finishing up some schooling. I can provide daily walks and enrichment any day for however long your pup needs. My fenced in yard is perfect for play and I have extensive knowledge of trails in the area that are good for walks/runs. At this time, I am unable to accommodate staying in another dog’s home due to my own pup’s needs.

She was flexible and accomodating in working with me through video calls and time differences as well as coordinating drop off and pick up with a family member who is taking care of my dog for a couple months while I am overseas. She was also understanding and receptive about special care requests during our initial chats and it was fantastic receiving twice daily updates during the boarding. I could tell from the belly up pictures that my dog felt safe, happy, and well taken care of!
