“Merin was AMAZING!! I really felt Moose was being well taken care of and left me with such peace of mind while on vacation. She was super thorough, gave constant updates, and reached out with any questions/concerns. Hands down we found our go to sitter which is the best feeling knowing I have someone to trust to take care of Moose when I need a little R&R! Thank you!!”

“Michael was awesome with T and great with communicating with me. Even meeting up at dog park before the reservation to make sure T was good for him and his space. Moreover, immensely accommodating amongst some travel issues. Highly reccomned”

“Sabrina was amazing with magnolia! I’ve had unfavorable Rover experiences in the past so planned ahead and did a meet and greet. I could tell instantly how warm and genuine she is- she even read up on the notes before that meeting. I felt super comfortable heading into our weekend away. During the weekend she gave several updates and was generous with photos/ videos all descriptive of magnolias characteristics. I knew Magnolia loved her stay with Sabrina when I picked her up and she kept looking back for her to walk away with us! I will absolutely book with her again whenever she’s free!”

“Anastasiia was awesome! I boarded my dog with her while on a work trip. She was super reliable and sent regular updates with pictures and my baby (dog) seemed so well cared for! She also communicated quickly and was very flexible when my flight was delayed. Would definitely book with her again in the future!!”

“My dog had a great weekend with Adam and his dog Hermes! Adam took them out on walks/ dog park multiple times daily, and provided plenty of updates and pics. He even let my dog sleep on the bed! Highly recommend Adam, especially for small dogs!”
“Farrah had another fantastic stay at Ian and Clementina’s! They shared numerous updates, photos, and videos during her multi day stay at their apartment, and came back super happy!!”

“If you're new to Rover or looking for a new dog sitter, Grace is the person to go to. I had an unexpected trip come up and needed to find someone quickly. There's always some unease leaving your dog with someone you haven't built a rapport with yet - but I'm so glad I found Grace. Her thoughtful questions about Ahri before the booking, and the confidence she gave me with her answers, made it easy to trust her with a 2 week stay. While I was away, she sent daily updates with photos and videos. Whenever anything came up - a light scuffle with another dog, an allergic reaction Ahri was having - she gave detailed updates along with how she handled each situation. Even when I wasn't able to respond right away, she kept the updates coming, which really put my mind at ease. I could tell within the first day that Ahri was comfortable - from the way she was running around with Grace to how relaxed she looked resting at her place. I would recommend Grace 1000% and would absolutely book with her again.”

“We just moved to the city and were looking for a new sitter. Luna warmed up to miki quickly, and miki was quick to communicate and shared a lot of videos and photos. Thank you miki!”

“I had the absolute best experience with Kylie and Kris! From the moment I dropped Lily off, I felt completely at ease. They were incredibly communicative and sent thoughtful daily updates with photos and little notes about how she was doing, which meant so much to me while I was away. It was clear she was truly pampered – she came home relaxed, happy, and so well looked after, which is the biggest testament to how wonderful they are. You can tell they genuinely love dogs and take their responsibility seriously. I would absolutely book with Kylie and Kris again in a heartbeat. Highly, highly recommend.”

“Sherry and Walter looked after our little puppy Figo for a night, and were fantastic sitters! They played with him, made him feel very comfortable with lots of snuggles, took him on a lovely walk and sent us lots of updates throughout. We’d recommend them highly!”

“Tiffany is so wonderful. She was so kind and sent us updates about our dog. We just moved to NYC and our dog has separation anxiety. She is the perfect companion for our pup Leche when we have to be away from home for long periods of time. So glad we found Tiffany.”

“Starry and Gio were absolutely amazing! They took great care of our dog while we were away. They took many photos and videos of him. We will definitely be using Starry and Gio again!!!”

“Onelsis is a life saver. I had emergency surgery, and she took great care of my dog at the last minute. She was great about letting me extend my dog’s stay. She continued to give me updates, and I could tell my dog enjoyed being around her during drop off. I will be using her services again!”

“We booked with Sanaz for a long weekend and Ivy adored her! She sent us daily updates and took Ivy on lots of walks. Ivy gets very anxious when we go anywhere without her, and Sanaz was very understanding of her separation anxiety and made her as comfortable as possible. She also was flexible with timing of drop offs and pick ups which was much appreciated!! Thank you so much! (:”

“Angelique was absolutely lovely! She was extremely communicative and her love for dogs is apparent! Charlie was very well take care of during his stay. She made sure to stay in contact and provide updates. Highly recommend and will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Sanga is 14 years old, and stayed with Ivette and Gonzalo for a week. He has come home looking really happy and healthy. He seems to be have been well cared for. The hosts are super responsive and Sanga looked really at home at their place. We are really happy and would highly recommend Ivette and Gonzalo.”

“Ryan watched both our dogs for a couple of days while we were gone. Initially it was only supposed to be one but we had some plans change and had a last minute request which he kindly accommodated. He kept us updated everyday while watching the boys. One of them got an upset stomach which he helped tend to. Thank you for taking good care of the boys!”

“Mykala and her partner took great care of my dog Tails! It was a fairly last minute request for multiple days of boarding so I was very relieved to find good caregivers for him. They provided lots of updates and Tails enjoyed spending time with their dog Boots. I would book again!”

“Morgan did a really great job caring for my cat. She was extremely accommodating and flexible in her availability. It was extremely appreciated as my cat is a senior, and oftentimes gets lonely. I would definitely recommend her as a trustworthy and reliable sitter! Thank you Morgan.”

“everything was super smooth from making the initial arrangements to the daily updates. most importantly the cat was the least stressed i've seen it after being a week away. definite recommend”
“Chris was fantastic with my two very timid, shy cats. I was honestly a little nervous since they’re usually afraid of new people, but they seemed completely at ease—which says everything. He kept me updated with thoughtful check-ins and sent great videos that really put my mind at ease. I’ll absolutely be booking him again. Highly recommend!”

“Chris was absolutely amazing taking care of my cat Ginny while I was away for 2 weeks. I was far away and wanted a sitter who was responsive since I felt bad leaving for so long and it gave me such peace of mind to get regular detailed updates from a Rover who would respond to any follow up messages extremely quickly! Ginny is a pretty shy cat who is quite clingy with me but rarely with others but she took to sitting on Chris’ lap and showing off her silly side - a real testament to Chris’ ability to work with cats who can be a little more reserved than dogs (of all the cats I’ve had growing up Ginny is by far the shyest) :) Would 100% book Chris again :) he’s the best!”

“Melissa was awesome! I booked her last minute and she was my first ever Rover booking so admittedly was a little nervous, but she quickly put my fears away. She was patient with all my instructions, sent photos and a nice message after every check in, and always made me feel comfortable knowing Sal was in good hands. I would book her again! Thanks so much Melissa.”

“As always, Marissa did an amazing job looking after my cat! They get along great despite his complex personality and she keeps the floors spotless from his food and litter. Definitely recommend!”

“Couldn’t be happier with Abbey’s care and attentiveness with the cats when I went out of town. She was very responsive and sent plenty of pics. Abbey made me feel so comfortable when I left my pets for a few days! Couldn’t recommend her enough.”

“Jessie is the best! I use her every time I go out of town and I always look forward to her updates and pictures. I also feel comforted leaving my baby knowing that she’ll be in Jessie’s hands”

“Kristina was excellent and so helpful watching our cat while we were away for our wedding. She was quick and clear in communicating and sending photos, and made sure our cat had everything she needed”

“Sabrina is a wonderful cat sitter! Our cats are extremely timid and usually hide when anyone new comes into the apartment, so I was nervous about whether both of them were actually coming out to eat. She was incredibly thoughtful and patient, and even came up with a plan to video them during feeding time so I could see for myself that both cats were eating once they felt safe. It really put my mind at ease while we were away. We’re so grateful for her care, communication, and understanding of shy cats!”

“Highly satisfied with Man! He did exactly what I asked for and tried to play with his own laser pointer, too! Though my cat is not a kitten, hard to play with a stranger at first, he tried and she was fascinated !”

“Jenna was so kind and a great communicator who cared about all of the little things. She left our place much better than she found it and sent us adorable photos of our cat almost every day! I think he likes her better than us :) Thank you so much!”

“Kayla is wonderful! She was great taking care of my two cats and made me feel totally at ease while I was away for a long trip. Super knowledgeable and really caring toward different needs. Can’t recommend her enough!”

“David did drop ins over Thanksgiving for my two cats, Goose and Dolly. He was responsive, followed all instructions, and always sent pictures! I felt my cats were very well cared for and I would hire him again anytime.”

“Birger was SO amazing with Rose and so attentive and responsive. He took such amazing care of her and she was in the best mood when I got home. It's clear she got lots of cuddles and scritches as she was in such a sweet and happy mood when I got home. Birger provided me amazing updates and lots of cute pictures to tide me over while I was gone. Thank you, Birger!!”

“Amanda was wonderful with out dachshund, Lola, who fell in love with her very quickly. Lola can be a bit of a handful (big personality, Napoleon syndrome) but Amanda knew how to handle her, and it sounds like they both had a great time. I know Lola got lots of cuddles and activity, and after the first day (when she was nervous being left with a stranger), she was very excited to see Amanda every morning.”

“Andrea was the best! I am sure Kiwi had a great time and I appreciate all the pictures and updates that Andrea shared with us :) Your dogs are so friendly! Appreciate your help, would definitely book again~”

“Georgia had the very best day with Emily and her dog, Kit, and I couldn’t recommend them more highly! She had good plays, they went on a great walk, and Georgia looked so happy in the photos she sent! We already booked our next play date!”

“Michaela was great taking care of Digby! Communicative, flexible, friendly, responsive and clearly loves dogs! Will definitely use her again for taking care of my dog.”

About: Hi! I’m a law student studying for the bar, which means I’ll be home most of the time and your dog will have lots of companionship throughout their stay. I have an Italian Greyhound I’ve cared for since she was a puppy (and she is very spoiled), so I know how important it is to make dogs feel safe and loved. I visit her every week at my parents’ home in Hoboken, and I’d care for your dog the same way I care for mine. Whether your pup loves playtime, walks, cuddles, or just having a calm human nearby, I’m happy to adapt to their routine and personality! I’m studying for the bar right now, so I’m home most of the time and have a flexible schedule for walks, feeding, playtime, potty breaks, and lots of attention throughout the day. Since I’m already spending most of my time at home studying, caring for a dog fits in really well and I enjoy having the company. My apartment is new, clean, and well-air-conditioned and heated, so it’s a comfortable environment year-round. My dog currently lives with my parents so your pup will be the only one staying in my studio. I’ll make sure your dog gets regular walks, potty breaks, playtime, and lots of attention, and of course I’ll keep plenty of doggie snacks on hand (with your approval!).
“Great dog sitter! Very caring, reliable, and attentive. I felt completely at ease leaving my dog with you. I really appreciate your patience and the love you showed him—especially since he can be a bit anxious. Definitely would book again! Thank you so much!”

About: Pets have been a huge part of my life, caring for them within my family or through friends. I love to walk, run and play to keep them active as I can. I also have experience in dog sitting puppies, big dogs and older dogs! I work a hybrid schedule, spending 3 days a week at the office in NYC and the rest of the week at home in Hoboken. On remote days, I’m flexible to take pups out for long walks and breaks. I’m also available for overnight stays throughout the week if you need! When caring for any clients pets, I will make sure to ask any and all questions to ensure their pet is in safe hands. I will respect their home and follow any instructions they give me to build our trust and to make sure their pet is satisfied.
“My dog now becomes friend with Vera’s dog! Even before the day care start date she has already asked many questions for my dog to make sure everything is ready. During the day care she constantly sends my update with photos and videos. I know my dog has a wonderful stay at her home with his dog friend!”

“Janet & Spencer are so sweet and took such great care of Rosa! They made sure she was comfortable and all her needs were met. She had a wonderful time with them!”

“Eugenia was amazing with my dog Cooper. She was fun, caring, and super engaged. She took him to the park - twice - played with him, and treated him like her own. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter. Your pup couldn’t be in better hands.”

“I’m really glad I chose Yutong for daycare with my energetic little poodle. He was very attentive and reliable, asking all the right questions about my dog’s character, sharing photos throughout the day, and keeping me updated on how things were going. My dog came home happy after spending the day with him, and I’ll definitely be coming back!”

“Anna was absolutely amazing with my dog, Audrey! I’m in the middle of a move and a crazy time at work, and she was willing to accommodate a last minute dog sitting so Audrey could be less stressed. She had a wonderful day - walks, naps, enrichment toys…Anna did it all! So much appreciated her loving care of my girl and updates through the day - highly recommend!”

About: I love dogs (and cats!) I just love them so much :) My husband and I have cared for our disabled Labrador since she was 5 months old (she’s now 7), so I’m very comfortable with special needs and senior dogs. I also grew up with a dog so I am experienced with puppies and basic training. I genuinely love dogs and treat every one like my own! I’m home full-time, so I have plenty of time to give your dog lots of attention, playtime, walks, and care. I’m available throughout the week for both daycare and boarding. I live in an apartment with an elevator. I have plenty of space for play, meals, and cuddles, and I make sure every dog feels comfortable and cared for. I follow each pet’s routine closely and adapt to their individual needs, whether they’re active, chill or somewhere in between.
“Georgia had a great day with Stella! Stella was so thoughtful and planned a fun outing to the park for Georgia even on a cold day and they got in some great cuddle time, too! She made herself right at home and looked very happy :)”

“Cari is great! She was responsive and flexible during the booking process and was so loving and gentle with our dog Greta. She had a great day of play and came home happy and tired!”

About: Full-time dog walker and devoted animal lover offering the best of my humanity to the service of our dearest friends the pets. I capture priceless daily updates and insights of my services and input (videos of every walk and portraits of every pet) and I send them to you after each walk. I work full-time as an animal caregiver with deep intention and purpose giving my all for the cause. I will get anywhere I am needed, anytime; scheduling ahead is most ideal to organize other walks around the city, but I can also do last minute things if I am allowed a 90 minutes window to make it in case I am in a different area. It is well known that my care for animals transcends feeding them and giving them water; I make sure that every walk is an opportunity to build and/or maintain positive behavioral patterns while addressing any “undesirable” patterns that could be exhibited with patience, understanding and the right amount of love… at the end of the day, it gives me unmeasurable pleasure to see animals safe, content and relaxed.
“Abbey is a gem! She immediately bonded with our older dog and got him out for a long walk --something he's not always interested in these days. She's conscientious, reliable and upbeat. Highly recommend her.”

“I wasn’t able to connect with my usual dog sitter, so in an emergency, I reached out to Ethel for help. She was able to accommodate my dog, Blue, and they formed an immediate connection. I could tell he received a lot of care and both physical and mental stimulation, as evidenced by her very detailed updates. Blue had a blast, and I’m so excited we’ve found a great match with a wonderful person.”

“Lal, Matt & Hank were great! My doggy boys stayed with them for a week while we were travelling out of state and they looked like they were having a nice little doggy vacation themselves with their new found friends. Lal would keep us updated with how our boys were doing by also posting pictures and videos along with the texts and e-mails. Lal really took the time to get to know the boys well specially during their meet and greet. Plus the fact that their LabraDoodle, Hank got along very well with the boys made me really feel at ease. I would definitely pick them again for our upcoming travels. So happy to know that my doggy boys were in good hands while we were away. Highly recommended.”

“Euitae was great with my puppy! Communicated with me well throughout the time, sent photos and videos. I felt comfortable leaving her with a new boarder and would work with Euitae again!”

“Thank you so much for taking such great care of Gio again. It’s a relief knowing he’s in good hands when we’re away. He seems so happy and relaxed. Looking forward to the next time!”

“Anky watched Penny while we were away for a long weekend and she was extremely communicative and reliable, sharing lots of pictures and updates! We will definitely book with her again!”

“Melissa is truly the perfect dog sitter! She took care of our pup like he was her own, even while he was sick and needed a pretty strict medication regimen. She even picked up his medication from our vet, and sent us diligent updates. Can't recommend enough. Thanks again Melissa!”

“First time booking on Rover. Elaine is very accommodating and I was able to book her on short notice. I have a six month old pug puppy who is very energetic and just got a neuter surgery, and she was able to accommodate his needs and care for him. She sent photos while I was away, mainly of him napping so I know he was tired out. She provided feedback on his pulling behaviors on walks and suggested different types of harnesses. I will definitely book her again, and thank you, Elaine!”

“Roman is a spectacular sitter, you couldn’t ask for better! Very communicative and responsive, took great photos and sent lovely updates. My pup had a wonderful time with him and I’d definitely board with him again!”

“Stella is amazing!! This was the first time we were leaving Norman for longer than a weekend so we were a bit nervous knowing he’s a high energy dog. Stella kept us updated every day with a mini recap of videos and pictures. She made sure he got enough exercise and play time throughout the day as well as stimulation. We were so appreciative of her helpful tips and thoughtfulness throughout his stay including giving him enrichment toys, lots of outside time, and maintaining some training habits. Her dog Koukla is also incredible and Norman had the best time playing with her (although I’m sure she is excited for some quiet time back). We couldn’t recommend her enough!!”

“Paige took wonderful care of Emmy while we were gone!! This was our first time leaving Emmy since she came home with us. She’s a larger high energy puppy, and we felt great about leaving her with Paige.”

“Ayush was very attentive and sweet! My dog absolutely loved being with him and was comfortable from the first moment they met. Would definitely rebook and recommend!”

“Tingli and Samuel were AWESOME! They were communicative, helpful, and sent us photos of our dog everyday. They are great Dog sitters if you have a dog that may be anxious with other dogs especially at boarding places and kennels. We will definitely use Tingli and Samuel again as dog sitters!”

“10/10 would leave our pup with Pooja again! She is very experienced with dog sitting, and it was clear our dog had a great time. Pooja was easy to communicate with throughout our time away, regularly providing us photo/video updates. Thank you Pooja!”

“Again, I cannot thank Barbara enough! Freddie loves being with her and she takes care of him so well. She follows all directions in terms of his care and is always returned so happy! Thank you again, you’re truly amazing!”

“It was such a pleasure to find Jen while I was looking for a sitter to host my dog Rhino in their home during a last minute trip. I dropped off Rhino and knew pretty quickly that he was going to have a blast at his sleepover with Jen, and that he was in safe hands. She sent lots of updates and photos throughout the weekend, and seeing what activities Rhino was up to made me so happy. My flight back to NYC arrived very late, and Jen was really kind and understanding with allowing me to pickup at like 10pm on a Monday night. When I picked up Rhino he was obviously super in love with his new friend and watched the door to her house as we drove away, haha. He was actually quite sad the first few hours home, and I could tell he really missed Jen and her partner. I’m already thinking about his next sleepover with his new bffs, and I’m so thankful to Jen for being such an awesome aunt/momma for Rhino while I was away. She took amazing care of him and knows what she’s doing. Jen, we will be back and Rhino misses you so much! He will be so excited to visit his auntie Jen again soon :)”
