About: The first time I had a cat, I was 6, and I named her Princess Angelina Lula Belle but (obviously) we only ever called her Kitty. During my childhood, my family and I took care of many other cats, including four kittens, and of course, dear Kitty as she became older. I have experience caring for young and senior cats, shy and social ones, too. Before moving to New York, I lived in Berkeley, where I cared for my neighbors' cats as a cat sitter. My previous roommate had two cats that I took care of when she was out of town and befriended even when she wasn't. I miss the kitties I loved during my childhood, and every other kitty I have met along the way. I would love to get to know your cats, and add some play and enrichment to their lives!

From scenic and sensorial walks & fetch sessions by the West Side Highway to cozy cuddle sessions at home, we provide a balanced environment for your dog to feel at home. Our experience includes taking care of small breeds with various temperaments, so we’re confident we can handle your pup’s specific needs! Our dog, Chance, is an 10lb maltipoo who loves other small dogs. We’ve taught him various tricks like sit, stay, paw, and ‘bang bang’, and we love sharing that knowledge with other dogs. We adapt our care to each dog’s personality, ensuring they get the right balance of mental stimulation and relaxation. Whether it’s playtime, puzzle games, or cuddles, your dog will feel right at home! Our daily routine is pretty relaxed, which allows us to dedicate time to caring for dogs. Danny's work schedule is hybrid and Karen is fully remote! We walk Chance in the morning and evening for 30 minutes. The afternoon walks are 30–90 minutes along the water on the West Side Highway. We can adjust the walk length based on your dog’s needs, whether it's a quick stroll or a longer adventure! We live in a 600 square foot 1-bedroom apartment where your dog will feel right at home. Your pup can sleep with us in the same room or right outside, depending on the pup's preference. We can also set up a pee station if needed, though you’d just need to bring it as Chance is fully potty trained to go outside.

She kept us informed of their activities with notes on what they were doing, how they were acting, and sent lots of pictures. They went on walks and got to hang around the house (like they normally do at home! ;) ) I think she really spoiled them (in a good way!). They had a wonderful time with her. We don't go to NYC often, but when we go next time and need a sitter, we'll definitely ask for Tamara again!!! She gets an A+++++ rating!!!”

Anne organized a meet n greet, was very responsive leading up to and during the stay, and sent photos several times throughout the days. About: I’ve been caring for dogs of many sizes for the past 7 years. I run regularly and have plenty of energy to keep up with your pup. And I’ve been a dog owner myself for my whole life! I take care of dogs of all ages and activity levels, and have experience administering medications and tending to dogs with special care needs. Anything your four legged friends need and more, I’m ready to provide. I work remotely and love to take breaks walking dogs! At the moment I am between jobs, so I am filling my time with as much pet sitting as possible! I have my own apartment, so your dog(s) will get my full attention at my home or yours. When sitting I take walks at least every 2 hours, and more often for high energy pets. I am also comfortable with special feeding and medication schedules, and love to care for all the special needs your for your special pets!
