I would happily recommend Lindsey to anyone and will definitely book with her again in the future!”

Would recommend.”

“Thank you so much, Molly & Nikola, for taking such amazing care of Kenyesita! About: I have cared for my own dog for the past 13 years and sadly he died in February 2025. I walked him around my neighborhood consistently for all those years and now having that routine gone is difficult. Before having him as my own, I also helped take care of my families dog for several years. I am experienced in caring for dogs of all ages and demeanors and all sizes too :) I am attending SUNY Cortland right now and that is the only large barrier in my weekly schedule. I can care and/or walk dogs after 7pm on Monday and Wednesdays. I am available after 4pm on Tuesday and Thursday. Friday and Saturday I can provide care all day with a days notice. Without notice I will most likely be working on Friday and therefore not available until after 4pm that day. I can house-sit on Fridays and Saturdays and into Sunday afternoon as well! I will maintain a safe and calm environment for your pet while caring for them and allow them to initiate any desired games or actions. I am willing to accommodate however you prefer for your dog when caring for them, just let me know of anything necessary :) Any questions or concerns for your dog's care are welcomed and appreciated as I prefer a heads up in advance of anything unusual or to keep an eye out/for. Thanks :)

“Louie loves visiting his girlfriend Georgia. They spoon while they sleep. I didn't know dogs did that! Anyways, Tana and Michael are the best. Louie's home away from home!!! Thank you for everything and accommodating my crazy schedule!”

“Georgianne was a wonderful sitter for my anxious lil pup! She sent photos regularly of Sadie Mae playing with her pup Penny and just lounging around. I will be using her again! :)”

“Christine and Matthew took such great care of Shiba. They treated her like part of their family and made sure she felt comfortable and loved the entire stay. I got regular updates and photos, and I felt completely at ease knowing she was in such good hands. Shiba came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. I would absolutely book with Christine and Matthew again and recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy, caring sitters!”

“I have been very pleased with the service and communication from Ellen M. My older black lab seems very happy when I drop her off. The pictures and communication I receive is very reassuring.”

“Yakelin has been a super lovely and caring dog sitter for my fur baby, Tonton. She and her family all shared a lot of love and care for my dog. We appreciate their attention to my dog’s medical conditions, and frequent updates with videos and pictures. The love and warmth we received from her and family is highly appreciated!”

“Being our first board with our puppy we were very apprehensive. We got numerous photos from Jocelyn a day. Many including her family. Really put us at ease. Definitely would bring her back.”

About: I'm an enthusiastic dog walker and sitter that has a passion for dogs and rescuing them. I have been involved in dog rescue and fostering in the Syracuse area for a number of years. I've cared for a number of my own dogs and cats from young to seniors. I've also been a foster parent to a number of dogs when rescues needed someone. I can handle the most challenging of dogs down to little babies and everything in between. Your dog will get plenty of love and attention when I'm around! I give all dogs the same love and affection I would give my own dog and see the importance of cuddle and buddy time along with good exercise. I show confidence when I'm with a dog so that they know there is trust with me from the beginning. I currently work part time, so have plenty of time to spend with your fur baby. I am always available after 3:00 p.m. during the week, before 8:00 a.m. or anytime on the weekends. I've got a very pet friendly home. I live in a single story, ranch house that has a fully fenced back yard. I do not have children at home that we would need to worry about and I'm very respectful if needed to go into a client's home. Safety and security are always at the forefront.

About: I absolutely love taking care of pets! Regardless of age or energy level, they will be in great hands with me. I have taken care of my cat Garbanzo since she was 6 months old and she is now almost 4! We are absolute best friends and seeing her everyday is such a joy. I love sending pet pictures to their owners to show they are well loved while away, and am communicative if I have any questions or concerns! I want to provide the care for your pet that I would want for mine. I currently have an open schedule while in between jobs. This means daily check-ins even a couple time per day will work for me. My calendar will be updated as that changes. I will follow instructions provided to me by the owner to ensure proper care as all pets require something different. If I have any questions I will be sure to reach out to the owner. I want the owner to feel comfortable knowing I will follow what they want for their pet.
“Alex is always so wonderful with my cat and definitely gives me peace of mind if I need to be away for a few days. He is communicative and very flexible! I always appreciate his help.”

About: I've spent many years working at a Pet Grooming shop in CNY spending lots of time with dogs and cats. I understand temperament and behavior very well. I know the ins and outs of pet care as I have two dogs of my own. Maxx and Winnie are both golden retrievers who love everyone and everything. If you're worried about leaving your best friend with a stranger, no need to fear with me! I'm excited to spend time with your fur baby whether it's going for walks or letting them outside. I love all kinds of animals and am ready to take care of yours! I'm currently off for the summer as I work for a school district, so I typically am available most days ! I'll try my best to update days I'm unavailable. I currently have two golden retrievers. One is a puppy, and the other is 10 years old. I do not currently have a fenced in yard.
About: I started longer-term overnight dog sitting about three years ago. I do frequent daytime potty breaks for friends when they are out of town. I have watched cats as well. I worked as a veterinary assistant for two years and I enjoy both cat and dog snuggles. Not currently working much, schedule is flexible which is ideal for your puppies that may need potty breaks while you are at work during the day or away on weekends. Unfortunately, I will only go to the clients home. I will not bring other animals into my house. I do own a cat and this is something my husband and I have agreed on.
About: Growing up, I’ve always had so many pets. My family has always seemed to attract strays, and I always loved to be involved in taking care of them. I’ve had and taken care of many different breeds and ages of cats and dogs. I currently own 3 cats and take care of my moms dog often. I was on Rover for a while after covid and am now looking for some extra income post-grad. I work remote so will be around and available during work hours! I am not currently working so I can be available on demand to take care of your pets! My schedule is very light in order to give them the attention and care they need. In my home, my pets are treated like my own children. Only pet owners know the feeling! To keep pets healthy, you have to keep them happy. Many people only think taking care of pets is feeding, giving them water, changing the litter, but pets love to feel appreciated! Walking them, playing with them, it’s all very important, and I want to offer this for your pets.

About: I have two boy cats and one of them has experienced kidney stones. I have had to administer liquid and pill medicine many times. I maintain litter boxes daily and I always spoil my boys with the best food toys and treats. I also know how to fend off food fiends. Playtime is my favorite time I try to mix things up and provide something new for them to experience every day.

About: Though my years of cat care experience are less than my years of dog care experience, I have taken care of numerous cats in those years, including feeding, administering medications, cleaning litter boxes and sharing love with all of the precious kitties I have met! :)

“We are so thankful for Erix. He accommodated us in a pinch. We are in town moving my niece into college and brought her dog, but we couldn’t bring him to the dorm. We had to switch hotels but weren’t able to get an early check in so we needed to figure a plan for our little Coco for just a few hours. I saw Erix’s profile and he had so many amazing reviews and he responded right away. Everything worked out perfectly and Erix was so sweet and took awesome care of our dog.”

“It’s only been one day with Liz and our pup Reggie came home happy and tired. Couldn’t recommend Liz more - she made me feel at complete ease leaving our puppy for the first time. Loved getting the video and picture updates throughout the day, too. We will be regulars from now on!”

“My dogs absolutely love going to Kathryns and run to the door when we arrive. She is very thorough on letting me know how their day went and what they did. You can tell her and her family enjoy caring for my pups and I highly recommend her.”

About: Having been through a fairly traumatic dog attack myself, I made it my mission to learn all about dog's behavior and why they do what they do. I have studied different ways of training and learning how to react to certain situations with them. I promise to love and give all the fun play time, cuddle time, and attention to your favorite furry friend! Your doggy can sleep in my bed and hang out on the couch. If you are anything like me, your dog is your best friend and child! I had an amazing female Boston Terrier who lived to 13 1/2. I am versed in care of elderly dogs. My new venture is a deaf puppy. We are learning hand signals for training. He is very friendly and loves to make new friends. If you have any questions about what I'm willing to do, or can and can't do, please don't hesitate to ask me! I work for a family business, and can bring my dog to work. Therefore, your pup will be able to come to work with me! I will love your baby as if it was my own. Dogs will always be leashed outside. They are allowed on furniture here and are welcome to snuggle anytime! But if you have different rules , please tell me so I can abide by them.
About: Hi, I’m Sara! As a lifelong animal-lover, I have taken care of a wide variety of animals that includes large and small dogs, cats, rodents, rabbits, exotic birds, reptiles, and many others. I also have experience caring for wild animals such as squirrels, opossums, groundhogs, fawns, and weasels through my work as a wildlife rehabilitator. I work as a Special Education teacher, which allows me to spend my summers caring for your fur babies! I have a large fenced in yard that is perfect for playing fetch or just relaxing in the sun! And if your dog is a swimmer, we have an in-ground pool that they are welcome to use! I currently have one dog, a 5-year-old poodle named Olive, who is incredibly friendly and loves playing with new friends. I also have four cats who do very well with other animals. I am comfortable caring for dogs that are not yet house-trained, senior pets, and pets with special needs. Since I don’t work in the summer, my schedule is highly flexible and adaptable to you and your pet’s needs. I understand that each pet has their unique personality and care needs, which is why I prioritize individualized attention and care for every pet in my care. Whether it's taking dogs on long walks, engaging in playtime with cats, or maintaining a consistent feeding schedule, I am dedicated to ensuring their happiness and well-being! When you entrust your fur-babies to me, you can rest assured that they will receive the utmost attention and love. In my home, animals are always welcome to hang out with me on the couch and sleep in my bed! About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. I believe consistency and routine are the best thing for animals. I’ve attended many training sessions for my pets. I am a Kindergarten teacher so will have the whole summer off to play and be with pets! During the school year I can do after school visits and walks. I have two friendly dogs who love to play. We love going on walks around the neighborhood as well as visiting our uncles fenced in yard for some running!
“Mariana is an absolutely amazing dog sitter. Not only did she take great care of Mocha, but she gave me many tips on different training methods I can use on Mocha. On top of all that, she took many cute pictures and videos of my dog that she shared with me through the day. I felt at ease leaving my dog there seeing how Mariana treated her. Mocha definitely had a great day with her and will be looking forward to seeing her again.”

About: The last few years I've provided an array of services for dog sitting, walking, weekly stays and occasionally drop in visits. From Danes to Chihuahua's I'm certain I can give your pup the love, patience, care and energy (high or low depending on the pup) that they need to live happy, comfortable and confident lives. I've taken care of an array of animals since I was a kid from hamsters to dogs to little frogs! I currently have a 2.5 year old Australian Cattle Dog mix who I've worked with through several training classes. I'm happy to help and follow through with current trainings you are working with your pup on while I interact with them. I'm able to remove ticks and have a first aid kit always on had and a base medicinal understanding and can administer medication if needed. I'm also doggy and human first aid certified (American Red Cross). If your pup is spayed/neutered, vaccinated and well socialized (or needs a little nudge and isnt aggressive or reactive) I'd be happy to take them to a dog park with or without my pup Luna. Does your dog have a special diet? Bon appetit, I'll be sure to get them their right food at the right time! Senior dogs need love too, I'll be patient and we can take a nice and easy stroll or take a little car ride! Speaking of, I have room in my subaru for any transportation your pup may ever need (including a doggy seatbelt). Overall, I'm flexible and want to help you and your pup have a happy life! I am currently employed but my schedule is very inconsistent at this time so reach out for availability checks and I can work with you! I'm very flexible in my scheduling. Right now I do not have the capacity for boarding or keeping any dogs besides my own at my current residence. Here we have a large yard with room for our pups to run and their recall work has been going well. Dogs can be on the furniture minus the kitchen table! We also have a large basement with room to run there too. In your home, I follow your rules and will respect your privacy. Please inform me of any specific requirements in your home or anything I should be aware of. I will act professionally and respectfully, just like I would ask someone if they were entering my home. I am flexible so just let me know of anything and I can adapt!
“Pam is very friendly impersonal. I’ve been using her regularly now for many weeks and she always fulfills her commitments and lets me know ahead of time of any changes in her schedule. She also tends to be somewhat flexible and communicates very well.”

About: What sets me apart is my experience working with dogs of all personalities and needs, especially reactive dogs and strong pullers. I have completed training with my own reactive chocolate lab through Justin’s Canine Campus, along with continuing training work at home, which has taught me patience, consistency, and how to read dog behavior closely. As a teacher, I’m dependable, calm, and attentive, and I naturally bring those qualities into caring for pets. I’ve loved animals since I was young and also continue to volunteer at animal shelters (Helping Hounds & HumaneCNY) giving me experience with dogs who may need extra patience, structure, or reassurance. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine. As a teacher, I have summers off and will soon be working part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility for walks, playtime, and quality attention. During the school year, I’m also an early bird and start my mornings with an average 2-mile walk with my own dog, so staying active and keeping pets on a routine is something I truly enjoy. I care for every pet as if they were my own and always focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. In a client’s home, I try to keep pets on their normal routine with feeding, walks, playtime, bathroom breaks, and plenty of attention and affection. I also make sure their space stays clean and that they feel calm while their owners are away.
About: I have cared for cats and dogs since I was young! I also can care for mice, bunnies, rats, and other animals, just message me! I know each personality is different, and I can proudly say I have made friends with animals that love humans as well as those who definitely don’t. Animals with special needs are also not a problem for me! I’ve cared for multiple cats and dogs with special needs including diabetes, manual bladder expressions, and mobility/paralysis issues. I’m currently home from college for the summer (Vet Tech Student) and am looking for jobs that allow me to keep working around animals during this time! I follow instructions given by the owner and often send pictures as updates of how the babies are doing! I can crate, walk, feed, water, play with, and bathe animals (if needed). I also can trim nails if asked! I can send pictures after as proof I didn’t quick them to ensure safety and trust between both you and I, as well as your pet and I!
About: I’ve been around pets my whole life and genuinely love all animals. I had my first cat at age 4 and grew up with both cats and dogs. I also lived with a rescued pit bull for several years (she had a rough past and didn’t do well around other dogs), so I have some experience with anxious pups on walks. I understand how important it is to build trust and work at a pet’s pace. Whether your pet is social and playful or a bit shy and needs space, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at and give them the best care possible. Even with a full-time job in finance, I make time for what matters—and for me, that includes animals. I work a standard weekday schedule, but my evenings and weekends are all open for pet care. The flexibility of my job may allow for a late morning - early afternoon check-in. Whether its a walk, evening check-in, or weekend drop-ins, I’m happy to build a schedule that fits your pet’s needs. I also spend most of my downtime at home, so if your pets need longer visits, I can give them plenty of attention and company. In your home, I’m respectful of your space and committed to keeping your pet’s routine as normal and comforting as possible. I’ll follow your instructions closely—whether it’s feeding, medications, walking schedules, or just the way your pet likes their favorite toy tossed. I know every animal is different, and I take the time to get to know their personality and needs. If we arrange care in my home, your pet will be treated like one of my own. I have a calm, pet-friendly space and three cat companions who are used to other animals and are gentle and well-socialized. I always do a slow introduction and only bring in pets that I know will be comfortable in that environment. Safety and comfort are my top priorities, whether I’m in your home or you're trusting your pet with mine.

I'll try my best to update days I'm unavailable. I currently have two golden retrievers. One is a puppy, and the other is 10 years old. I do not currently have a fenced in yard.
“She’s always punctual, got a great attitude, and is so good to all the animals. She’s very easy to work with, I couldn’t ask for somebody better. I definitely recommend her.”

“This is my second time using Teresa and Dan and I plan to continue to use them! This was a last minute booking and Teresa was so accommodating! I’d give more stars if I could! ⭐️”

“Lindsey was amazing with my dog, Teddy! He had such a great time on her farm — it truly felt like a little vacation for him. She took wonderful care of him and kept me updated with fantastic photos and detailed messages about how he was doing. I really appreciated the communication and felt completely at ease knowing he was in such good hands. I would happily recommend Lindsey to anyone and will definitely book with her again in the future!”

“Mary was the perfect match for our elderly dog: she is patient and caring. Mary has her home and yard set up for every dog's optimal comfort, which we especially appreciated since our dog has arthritis. Ella, our 15 year-old papillon, loved her!”

“Took great care of our pup despite some anxiety that she had during her stay, and was very communicative during her stay. We received plenty of photos and videos which put our mind at ease! We know Maple is in good hands with Hujin!”

“Our plans fell through at the last minute for Rory and Rachel was very flexible for the stay. Rory was initially sad that we were leaving her but after just one night with Rachel and her family, Rory was sad to be leaving them. It was clear that Rachel took great care of Rory during the stay! Would recommend.”

“Thank you so much, Molly & Nikola, for taking such amazing care of Kenyesita! She had an absolute blast on her adventures and played so much that she was completely tuckered out by the time she got home. It’s clear she was in great hands, and we truly appreciate the love and attention you gave her. We’ll definitely be booking with you again!”

Thanks :)
“Meghan was awesome, she took great care of my dog and kept me updated throughout the stay, she's also a great photographer so you'd get nice shots of your pets, a 100% recommended.”

“Louie loves visiting his girlfriend Georgia. They spoon while they sleep. I didn't know dogs did that! Anyways, Tana and Michael are the best. Louie's home away from home!!! Thank you for everything and accommodating my crazy schedule!”

“Sarah was wonderful! We received update photos every day and our pup came home clearly well cared for and happy after over a week of being away. We were worried about our small dog being around her larger ones, but she arranged a meet and greet prior to taking King Tut. Her dogs were sweet and gentle with him. During the week we got photos of all three happily cuddled together. Would recommend Sarah S. and would definitely return should we need a dog-sitter!”

“I have been very pleased with the service and communication from Ellen M. My older black lab seems very happy when I drop her off. The pictures and communication I receive is very reassuring.”

“Maya was amazing! We were definitely on edge about the dogsitting due to our pup having bad anxiety and it being his first time staying overnight with someone else, and honestly, I dont think the outcome of the stay could've went any better. Maya definitely has a true passion for animals and it shows. He was cared for very well. Honestly, I dont think we wanted to come back home! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing dogsitter that will treat your pets with the love that they deserve.”

“Luna had a second stay with Ashley & Matt and was well cared for and had a great time with their two dogs Cali & Stella. Thank you for taking such good care of her and keeping us posted with lots of pictures 💙”

About: I have over 10 years of hands-on professional dog care experience working in dog daycares, boarding kennels, and grooming facilities in both Colorado and New York. I’ve managed large daycare playgroups of 15–20 dogs, monitored interactions, redirected rough play, and maintained calm, structured environments. One of our daily staff challenges involved having an entire group line up and hold a sit at the same time—something I was proud to accomplish more than once. I also worked at a boarding and grooming kennel in Durango, CO owned by a competitive dog-show handler with extremely high standards. Because staff was small, I gained extensive one-on-one experience with dogs of all breeds and temperaments, including nail trims (even nervous dogs), coat-specific brushing, ear and dental care, bathing, drying, and boarding routines. I also handled front-desk responsibilities, scheduling, and check-ins. At home, I live with two very friendly dogs of my own—Cooper, a beagle, and Tucker, an Australian Shepherd–beagle mix. They are social, affectionate, and almost always carrying a ball around the house. We play daily enrichment games such as hide-and-seek: I’ll have them wait in another room while I hide their balls or bedtime treats, and when I let them out, them they make a mad dash to look for them. It’s one of their favorite parts of the day and a fun way to keep them moving and engaged when it's too cold outside or when I'm doing things around the house. Our home is fully set up for boarding with a large fenced-in backyard for safe outdoor play, plus a dedicated dog-care nook stocked with harnesses, leashes, winter jackets, brushes, and treats. Living with my own dogs full-time means I’m experienced with routines, energy management, introductions, and helping new pups feel comfortable quickly. Cooper and Tucker enjoy meeting new friends, and I carefully supervise all group play. What truly drives me is how much joy dogs bring into everyday life, which is why I chose to follow that passion into my career. Being around happy, healthy dogs is contagious in the best way, and creating an environment where they feel safe, loved, and excited to be here is what I aim for every day. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I’m home often and structure my days around indoor and outdoor playtime, enrichment activities, meals, and rest breaks. Dogs in my care receive plenty of attention, supervised yard time, and companionship throughout the day rather than being left alone for long stretches. I’m available for in-home boarding and extended stays, and I plan my schedule to make sure every dog gets consistent care, exercise, and individual attention. My home is fully set up for dogs, with a large fenced-in backyard for safe outdoor play and plenty of space indoors to relax. I live with two friendly dogs, Cooper and Tucker, and always supervise interactions, and group play. I live with my mother, so she may be around occasionally but it is only me who will be looking after and taking care of the pups. She is aware of my services and is happy to open the home to more dogs for sitting and more pals for Cooper and Tucker! I follow each dog’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, medication instructions, and preferred activity levels. Dogs can be separated for meals or downtime if needed, and I’m comfortable using crates or quiet spaces based on what makes them feel most secure. We also have a dedicated dog-care nook stocked with harnesses, leashes, winter jackets, brushes, and treats so guests are always prepared for Syracuse weather. Cleanliness, hygiene, and calm handling are priorities here. You’ll receive regular photo updates and messages so you can feel confident your pup is happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away(:
“Yakelin has been a super lovely and caring dog sitter for my fur baby, Tonton. She and her family all shared a lot of love and care for my dog. We appreciate their attention to my dog’s medical conditions, and frequent updates with videos and pictures. The love and warmth we received from her and family is highly appreciated!”

“Lisa and Jon took care of my dog for a full week and they were excellent. Great communication, and regular updates with pictures, and our dogs seemed to get along great. We had no issues and I’ll definitely be coming back to Lisa and Jon the next time I have to leave town :)”
