About: I've almost always had cats in my life, I grew up with them and adopted my own as an adult. I have experience with kittens as well as seniors and in between. I also have experience leash training kittens. I will be obssesed with your cat even if they are hesitant about me. I've cat sit for kitties that are happy to see me and grumpy ones that want me to kick rocks. I respect their boundaries and love them all! About: I love all dogs and have had dogs my whole life. I currently have a 4 year old yellow lab, who is great with other dogs. We have always had more than one dog in the house but we recently lost one to cancer, So caring for your pet would be a thrill to both me and my pet, I have recently retired form the school system and found that I have a lot of extra time that I could spend with your pet, playing and training basic commands. My husband and I live in an area where the dog would have a lot of room to run and play. He/she would be welcomed anywhere in our home with our dog as a companion to play with. I am retired and have all day or night to care for your pet. I very occasionally work as a substitute bus driver in the early morning , generally home by 8.am I have a fenced in yard for the dogs to run around and play, also in the home all day and can take for walks if preferred.

About: I have a lifetime of experience with pet care, which began with helping my mom run her in-home dog boarding business when I was growing up. The skills and experience that I've gained in that time enable me to provide the best possible care for your pet. I live with my girlfriend who is a veterinary technician with over 15 years of experience. Ours is a loving home, with a large, securely fenced yard. Our top priority is to keep your dog safe, feeling comfortable, and relaxed, just as they would be in their own home. I offer boarding, walks, in home visits, and more. I am comfortable giving meds, preparing special diets, and caring for puppies as well as seniors. I used to train and show dogs when I was younger, and can help get your puppy off on the right foot with house training. Dog sitting is my only job, and my flexible schedule revolves around that. I can be available at any reasonable time for pick-up and drop off appointments. I'm home almost all of the time to be with the dogs, only leaving to run brief errands when necessary. All dogs are cared for in my home. I have a large, securely fenced in back yard. During the day, dogs are free to be outside to play in the backyard as much as they wish. All dogs sleep in large crates or X-pens in our comfortable dog room at night, or when we are not home. We have a young cavalier who would be happy to have new friends to play with. Since I’m home most of the time, I’ll ensure your pet stays healthy, happy, and safe! We are an adventure duo -- you can catch us at the beach playing fetch in the water, hiking, or just taking long strolls along the canal! On days where the weather is rainy, we still get 3 walks a day (morning, noon, evening) with thorough wipe downs after! Meal times are interwoven with short training sessions. I have dedicated several rooms in my house to doggy activity areas -- agility equipment, floor mats, etc (see photos). Grooming is done very regularly. My pup has environmental allergies so we also do a water rinse daily when we return from our adventures. When your baby stays with me, they will receive the same treatment (if they are comfortable getting brushed). He is my entire life and I couldn’t be happier! I have included photos of my home (and the excessive amount of dog toys we own) in my profile. Several of the rooms in my house are dedicated to doggy activities/enrichment and I also have a fenced in yard. I have also made sure that my set up allows me to separate dogs from each other if they ever get over stimulated -- I have enough rooms where each dog can be in their own room. I also have a doggy door so most days when the weather is not atrocious the dogs can relieve themselves/play as they please. Also my sun room is dedicated to dog care so if need be I can gate off/separate pooches that get too worked up (or just need privacy eating). I do have two crates — one for super small dogs and the other for dogs up to 35 lbs. My dog is crate trained but prefers free range so I have dog beds in every single room. Dogs are welcome on furniture but please make sure they have been recently bathed (within a few days before) if you are boarding as we keep our home extremely clean (the carpets get washed every month and vacuum and swiffering are done daily). We are probably not a good fit if your dog does not get along with other dogs, because my dog is still young and very energetic. If your dog does not like to play but does not react aggressively to other dogs attempting to initiate play, Momo would be fine as he does eventually give up if the other dog does not engage him at all. When we schedule a meet and greet, you can expect to meet us outside the front yard for a couple block long walk together before going to the backyard to let the pooches sniff each other out. Since Momo is a chow-mix, he is protective by nature and does not like it if other fur-babies he does not know well try to jump on his mom so I will likely only greet your baby after I put him back in the house.

About: I have had a lot of experience with dogs throughout my life. I have always had dogs so I know how to take care of them and I have also helped my family members take care of young puppies. About: In highschool I was very popular in my neighborhood from doing there dog nails, to dog sitting, over night stays, and even medications. Even back in high school I had a part time and school and still made sure the fur babies were taken care of. To this day I still dog sit for my neighbor. I also worked at a doggy daycare for about 6 months then i moved, I learned so much while I was there in that short period of time from learning to gain respect and how to control a group of 15+ dogs . And was in a animal science program in highschool with a mentorship at a clinic, then tried to go to college for my vet tech degree but too expensive(still paying that off). I also do have a very energetic German shepherd who I train every day she knows pretty much everything(sit, lay down, roll over,paw, other paw,high five, spin, heel, center, look, leave it, back up, and wait). I also dog sat for my boyfriend's coworker who had an older pointer who had a seziure not only did I comfort the dog but I called owner asap then vet, I then called off of work. Just because it's not my animal doesn't mean I will love them any less. But the take away from all that is I have a lot of experience in the animal department. I'm currently working part time and have a lot of free time on my hands and love being around animals . I only work wensday-saturday the other days I'm free. But as you can see with my profile I do have my own fur baby but my boyfriend never works nights or weekends so she won't be alone. For the pets at clients housing not only will I respond to you text asap even if I'm busy, I will also ask for guide lines and try to keep your dog on the schedule you have them on consistency is key, especially when a change like you leaving happens. I also am a big over thinker so before I let the dog out if you have a yard I will always make sure the gates are close and secure and make sure there's nothing laying out that would harm them. When I dog sit I imagine as if it's my own dog.
About: I enjoyed taking care of other pets, I can’t have my own pet as I travel once a month I take care of my daughters 4 cats and 2 dogs often, and my friends 2 deaf dogs quite often I work at RIT, prefer to take care of pets near RIT , off Bailey Rd/Lehigh/East River area All my life, I always have dog and/or cat until 4 years ago. About: My family has had several big and small dogs growing up so I have had experience walking, bathing, feeding, and playing with dogs my whole life. I also have 2 dogs of my own now and have taken care of them since they were 10 weeks old. I have lots of experience and absolutely love dogs, they are family! I currently work part-time on the weekends and take classes online during the week. My shifts on the weekends are typically no more than 5 hours and since my classes are online I do them right at home! My two dogs are very friendly and absolutely love playing so your dogs will have lots of interaction and company! They also have loads of toys that they love sharing! My apartment is big enough for them to play and run around as well as for me to crate dogs if needed or preferred. My place is also puppy-proof so they can’t get into anything they can’t have!
About: I’ve grown up with multiple breeds of dogs and have been dog sitting for just over 8 years! I have experience dog sitting in other peoples homes as well as my own. I currently have an 8 month old terrier/husky/german shepherd puppy that is very friendly and well behaved with guest dogs in the home. I also have a history of competing in dog shows so I am happy to work on training if requested. I have a hybrid work schedule so I am able to be home whenever I’m hosting a dog. Additionally, my parter works a fully remote job so we have a lot of flexibility when it come to day time walks, potty breaks, and trips to the park! I have an 8 month old terrier/husky/german shepherd mix who has been exposed to dogs of all genders, breed, size, and age. We start every morning with a 30-60 minute walk before breakfast. Then around 10-12 we spend about 30 minutes in the dog park. At night we spend another hour in the park or on a long walk. With dinner we like to work on skills/training for about 20 minutes. Our dog is crate trained and we do ask guests to have a crate as well so that they’re safe in case they need to be left unattended for any period of time.

I send regular updates, photos, and notes so you never have to wonder how your dog is doing. Your peace of mind (and your pup’s happiness) are my top priorities. I primarily work in the office during the week, but I do have the option to work from home — so if your pup needs a little extra time and attention, I can absolutely make that happen! I’ll never let a dog go more than 6–8 hours without care, but if your pup is used to more frequent potty breaks, I’ll make that a priority. I’m also primarily home on the weekends (I actually prefer to have no weekend plans!), which means I’ll have plenty of time to hang out with your bestie all day. 🐾 I’m pretty flexible and happy to adjust my schedule to fit your dog’s routine. Just communicate your expectations, and I’m confident we can work out a plan that keeps your pup happy, comfortable, and cared for. I live in a spacious 1,500 sq ft apartment — plenty of room for your pup to explore, play, and relax! While I don’t have a fenced yard, I make sure every dog gets plenty of outdoor time with frequent walks and potty breaks throughout the day. I don’t currently have any dogs of my own so your pup will have my full attention and the space all to themselves. However, if your dog enjoys the company of other pups, I’d be happy to introduce them to my mom’s 12lb rat terrier/chihuahua/dachshund mix — he’s a friendly little social butterfly who loves making new friends! I don’t currently own a crate, but I’m more than happy to get one if that helps your dog feel more comfortable. I have an abundance of toys for playtime and a ginormous couch perfect for snuggles, naps, and quality cuddle time with my furry guests. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities, and I treat every pup like my own while they’re here. ❤️

About: I grew up on farms in the south, so I've been around animals my whole life. I moved to Rochester specifically because of how dog friendly it is. I think dogs deserve to be treated like family because they are our family! I work from home taking care of pets is my main job. If i could fill every hour of the week with animals, I would! I give every dog the time and attention they deserve. I have a fenced in back yard and a friendly dog of my own to keep yours company. I send pictures throughout the day to let you know how your pup is doing!

About: I have always had dogs and cats as a part of my family and I also spent a lot of time cat sitting for friends and family. My family fostered puppies and dogs for several years through a local organization! I am in school studying animal behavior and have done an internship at a cat shelter giving enrichment and behavior training to the particularly shy cats. I work part time, only 3-5 hours a day at a shop a few minutes from my house. Other than work and quick errands from time to time I’m home full time otherwise! I have a huge backyard that is not fenced in, however your pet would have full on leash supervised access to the yard! I have an older cat who gets along very well with other animals.
