“Remi is an anxious dog, but after this boarding experience, I noticed a big difference. He was much calmer when I picked him up, and it did not take him days to de stress like usual. When we arrived, Kimberly greeted us outside with her dog, who is extremely friendly and calm. Even though Remi was on a leash, he handled the interaction well, which honestly surprised me. Throughout Remi’s stay, Kimberly sent pictures and regular updates. She played fetch with him, which is one of his favorite activities (other than eating). By the time he came home, he was happily exhausted. We are so glad we found Kimberly and highly recommend her. She is someone we will definitely continue to return to.”

About: I’m new to Rover, but I’ve been around dogs my entire life! I grew up with dogs and have continued to have them throughout adulthood, with experience caring for a variety of breeds and personalities. My husband and two kids also love dogs, so your pet will be welcomed and cared for by our whole family. We understand the care, attention, and love they need. I typically work from home, with only occasional in-person meetings, so your dog(s) will have plenty of company and attention throughout the day. About: I grew up on farms in the south, so I've been around animals my whole life. I moved to Rochester specifically because of how dog friendly it is. I think dogs deserve to be treated like family because they are our family! I work from home taking care of pets is my main job. If i could fill every hour of the week with animals, I would! “We were passing through Rochester and really needed a very trustworthy sitter for our highly separation anxious three legged Jack. So when we found Alex and Bethany and Jack trotted off with them with no anxiety, we knew we'd found the right match. About: I have guinea pigs, cats, dogs, and chickens. I have also had a bearded dragon and rabbits. I am very used to caring for many types of animals and love them all. Have experience with all different ages and many different needs for each pet. They’re our family ! I was a teacher for 12 years in elementary school. After our 3rd child was born i decided to stay home to take care of our children and our pets full time. I am very flexible with my schedule and our pets love visitors - animals and humans !! I have a fully fenced in backyard and three very friendly dogs and three very friendly children :) We are all animal lovers. About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have always loved caring for animals. I’ve raised puppies and kittens of my own all the way until they were old and frail. I also currently have a 2.5 year old Golden Retriever, so I’m very comfortable with the energy, routines, and attention that pets need. Over the years, I’ve also cared for friends’ pets while they’ve been out of town, and I pet sat as a side gig during college. About: I've had several dogs in my life, smaller and larger dogs. I had a cocker spaniel mix when I was a kid, a collie when my kids were young, and most recently a German shepherd. Each had their own personality and I have special memories of each one of them. I have taken care of older dogs and younger dogs. I can handle the energy of younger dogs and the needs of older ones. We have always seen our pets as members of the family and I hope you will allow me to see your dog in the same way. I have friends that I have stayed at their house for a couple of weeks to spend time with their dog while they were on vacation. We went for walks twice a day and had a lot of time playing together. About: In highschool I was very popular in my neighborhood from doing there dog nails, to dog sitting, over night stays, and even medications. Even back in high school I had a part time and school and still made sure the fur babies were taken care of. To this day I still dog sit for my neighbor. I also worked at a doggy daycare for about 6 months then i moved, I learned so much while I was there in that short period of time from learning to gain respect and how to control a group of 15+ dogs . And was in a animal science program in highschool with a mentorship at a clinic, then tried to go to college for my vet tech degree but too expensive(still paying that off). I also do have a very energetic German shepherd who I train every day she knows pretty much everything(sit, lay down, roll over,paw, other paw,high five, spin, heel, center, look, leave it, back up, and wait). I also dog sat for my boyfriend's coworker who had an older pointer who had a seziure not only did I comfort the dog but I called owner asap then vet, I then called off of work. Just because it's not my animal doesn't mean I will love them any less. But the take away from all that is I have a lot of experience in the animal department. I'm currently working part time and have a lot of free time on my hands and love being around animals . I only work wensday-saturday the other days I'm free. But as you can see with my profile I do have my own fur baby but my boyfriend never works nights or weekends so she won't be alone. For the pets at clients housing not only will I respond to you text asap even if I'm busy, I will also ask for guide lines and try to keep your dog on the schedule you have them on consistency is key, especially when a change like you leaving happens. I also am a big over thinker so before I let the dog out if you have a yard I will always make sure the gates are close and secure and make sure there's nothing laying out that would harm them. When I dog sit I imagine as if it's my own dog.
About: Animals need human contact and love. exercise is important and keeps a dog healthy. I have had rescue cats most of my life and recently have taken care of my daughter's dog when out of town I am retired now and have available time. I am up by 6:00 AM every morning I love to walk and it is part of my daily routine. I have a cat and keep her on a healthy schedule and annual vet appt. With a dog, I follow the instructions of the owner. They may be on medication, eat certain types of food etc.

Now that I finally have a house I have my rescue dog Tucker who’s getting older now and Sam who is young and full of energy and loves a good young friend! I work mon-Thur about 9 hour days I am off every other Friday and weekends. My pet gets let out in the morning and at least twice in the evening I make sure he poops 2x a day. “I had a great experience with Kenan and would definitely recommend him. He communicated with me throughout the entire process, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. I also really appreciated that he was able to take my dog on very short notice. My dog has some behavioral issues, and when I explained them, Kenan didn't seem intimidated or put off at all. He was calm, patient, and relaxed, which helped me feel much more comfortable leaving my dog in his care. It was clear that he takes his business seriously and genuinely cares about the animals he watches. The biggest sign that my dog had a great time was when I picked him up—he kept looking back at the house like he wanted to stay! That alone told me he felt safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I wouldn't hesitate to trust Kenan with my dog again.”

Sunny is an investigator and enjoyed all the opportunities for adventure with Maria and her family. Maria sent photos and messages throughout the week, which we appreciated.
