“So grateful for Leigh. She took excellent care of my senior cat for over a week. Mid-trip, my cat started refusing his medicine. Leigh was confident and able to administer his medication regardless (via oral pill, something I myself I have never had success doing - I usually get him to lick it off a spoon covered in churu). She even stayed past her contracted time to make sure that he would receive his medication. Leigh truly cares for cats. I am happy to walk your dog, spend quality time with them in the home, or play with them in the yard! I can also feed them and give medication or treats as needed!

About: I had my first dog for 17 years before he passed away and I understand why they are our family. This is why our friends, neighbors and family trust us. About: I have many years experience owning a loving yorkie, named Ohana which means “family” in Hawaiian. Since she has passed away, I cannot commit to dealing with another heartbreak of losing a dog that becomes your family. I have 3 boys who are begging for a dog to play with. I work from home so I wouldn’t mind the company once in a while. I am also the go to person to dog sit for my family members dogs while they are away. I work full time from home Monday- Friday from 10am-7pm. My weekends are usually spent with the family doing kids activities such as their sports. I live in a smoke free house with a fenced backyard to keep pets safe. I also own a small crate we used for our yorkie. I live in a quit neighborhood with a few dogs on the block to interact with.
“I left my labradoodle, Ramona, with Valentina and her 4-year-old son for few hours, and honestly, she had the best time. From the start, Ramona felt completely at home — she got tons of love, playtime, and cuddles. Valentina was amazing and kept me updated with sweet pictures and little messages, which really put my mind at ease. Her son was the perfect little playmate, full of energy but so gentle and caring with Ramona. They played, ran around, and Ramona clearly loved all the extra attention. When I picked her up, she was happy, calm, and probably would’ve stayed even longer if she could! I highly recommend Valentina and her sweet son if you need someone loving and trustworthy to watch your dog. 5/5 paws from Ramona! 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾”

About: I have had pets of my own for most of my life. I’ve been caring for my pets since they were puppies to now elders. Having experience with both cats and dogs I have grown to know how to love and care for them properly. I have experience in basic care like walking and feeding and giving them extra love and care! After working on rover for 2+ years I have gained plenty of experience in handling medicine as well. I am currently available in the afternoon to give your pet the love and cuddles they deserve! Hours can range from 12pm or later, hours are flexible! I have a fenced in yard where pets can play in. I also have the tools for walking including a portable water bottle for pets if needed.

We were having an unusually late night in the city for New Year’s Eve, and Badger is happiest at home so I didn’t want to board him somewhere overnight if I didn’t have to. Amandine was able to come twice that evening for his dinner and a couple outings. He got up to all his usual silliness on her visits, and was happy as a clam when we got home. Badger was comfortable with her right away and my husband and I were able to enjoy our Brooklyn NYE (Robyn at The Paramount, which was worth the very late night!) knowing he was taken care of and would be waiting for us when we got home.
