In addition to assisting with care of a (palm-sized) rescue kitten who is less than one month old needing to be bottle fed every few hours, given antibiotic medication for her eyes and frequent cleaning with wet wipes, due to being too young to know how to use a litter box. I have found it to be extremely rewarding and willing to look after a few more furbabies within my local area. 🔹 I’m trustworthy and reliable, I would always practice good manners. Respectful of privacy when I’m in a client’s home. I make sure that when I’m with your pet, safety is an upmost priority.

Even though our dog is very skittish around other dogs, she made sure her own dogs stayed at a family member's home during Evie's stay. We will likely use her again in the future if we have to go on any other away trips. Sent a lot of pictures each day to update us. Also, Evie's stay was during the forest fires in Canada so the air quality was bad outside. “I would like to start by saying, in general I am a skeptical person who does not trust people with my dog because like others, my dog is my child. With that being said, I needed a dog sitter short notice while I went on a family vacation to Africa and prior arrangements fell through. Hesitant, I knew that a sitter would be best for me because I didn’t like the idea of boarding him at a facility. My dog weighs 4 lbs and is still a puppy, he seeks love and companionship. About: I’ve been caring for pets my whole life but really started about 5 years ago. When I was young I would help neighbors, friends, and family with their pets and loved it. From daily walks and feeding to baths and playtime, I treat every pet like my own. I’m experienced with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and I’m attentive to each pet’s individual needs. I’ve also worked full-time for a year at a veterinary pharmacy, and part-time as a kennel assistant at a dog and cat daycare where I mostly boarded, walked, and socialized with the dogs. I love animals, and want to give them the best care because that’s what they deserve! I unfortunately am only available until August, but my schedule over the summer is very flexible. The only day I am strictly unavailable are Sundays, but otherwise from 11am-7pm I am free. Check-ins will include checking their food/water, general status, and of course, playtime! Any instructions that the owner leaves will be followed and photos of the pet will be sent to the owner during check-ins.
“Shibo was absolutely amazing! I have two male cats, and one of them I had just adopted 10 days before leaving for my trip. He was very skittish when I first got him, but he warmed up to Shibo right away. My other cat took a liking to him immediately as well—who wouldn’t! Shibo was so wonderful, giving my cats the attention they needed while I was away. In the past, I relied on neighbors and people just stopping by to feed and check on them, but my experience with Shibo has completely changed my perspective. It is worth every penny to have someone as great as him looking after your fur babies! When I returned, I could see the difference in my fluffy companions in the best way as this is very early in their introduction phase. I had peace of mind knowing they were well cared for. Shibo provided fantastic updates and beautiful photos, making it clear that my cats had a wonderful time with their new friend. About: Hello! My name is Julissa. I have so much love for all pets and animals. Growing up, i’ve always had a dog in the house, and they were always such an important member of our family. It’s been about five years since I’ve had a dog of my own. My last dog’s name was Sasha. We adopted her when she was six and had her until she was about thirteen. She was so smart, loving, and anxious when we first got her so our first few years together were spent establishing trust. Eventually we managed to off-leash train and we worked a lot on her recall so that we could enjoy longer walks and outdoor activities while ensuring that she always felt safe in her environment. At home we set her bed up in the kitchen, where we would pass our time cooking and spending a lot of quality time together. I had so many good years with my Sasha, and since she passed I have genuinely missed spending time with animals on a consistent basis. Since then, most if not all of my friends and family have entrusted me with taking care of their animals when they are busy or traveling, so I’ve had a lot of experience with many different pets and their varying needs/personalities. I work freelance as an artist. I am a musician, so I often stay at home practicing or composing. However most of my work is in the film industry, and this work ranges from smaller independent projects to network television. Although I do work on set sometimes, I try to take on as many post-production gigs as possible, so I often find myself sitting behind a desk all day. I have always made it a priority to work in a field that I am passionate about, and my decision to work with Rover has been no different. About: I'm an incredibly active individual. I love to lift weights, practice martial arts, hike, and go on runs. This allows me to be an excellent fit for a dog whose energy levels are high. If you'd prefer for me to not just take your dog to the bathroom, but provide them a good amount of exercise as well, I'm a great fit! About: I’ve looked after dogs of all types of dogs. Small, large, fluffy, skinny, you name it. Also love cats and looking after them as well. Would love to expand my horizons to other, less conventional pets some day. Maybe reptiles… I have lived with one or more pets consistently for more than half my life. Many pets and creatures I’ve called my friends. Would love to make it a full-time job someday. I act lovingly and compassionately towards the animals I’m watching, but show them that things like jumping and biting are not okay when considering how their trainers want their training schedule to look like. About: I had my own dog at the age 8 a pit bull mastiff who sadly passed away but in 2021 I got my dog pooka because someone wasn’t treating her right they were gunna put her down but I took her in and I also took care of 2 pitbulls American staffy and American pit bull it was the best experience I love taking all of them to the park so they can run and get out all that energy I don’t work currently so it would be very beneficial for me because I have a son who goes to school in the area I love the pups I see them all the time on my walks I would rather go to the pets home where they are comfortable so they won’t be so scared in a different environment and around new people

Romeo is playful and loving. He will be a great companion to your furry friend during their stay with us! I am working from home and I am very flexible on taking your pets on walks throughout the day. I have a private rooftop I can bring them to, a nice quiet neighborhood area to walk around and there is a dog park 25 minutes away. Any and all instructions you leave for me will be followed with the utmost care to keep your little buddy happy! My daycare services are from 9 am - 6 pm daily; the cut-off time for boarding services is by 6 pm daily. My dog-friendly apartment building has a private balcony where your fur baby can enjoy the fresh breeze throughout the day. I also have an amazing, beautiful rooftop that has fake grass where your pet will enjoy running around! I have provided a photo of the gorgeous private rooftop below. I have a spacious 2 bedroom apartment that is clean, mopped, and vacuumed daily. Your pet will have a private and quiet area to rest and spend their day happily!
