About: I have always had dogs and cats as a part of my family and I also spent a lot of time cat sitting for friends and family. My family fostered puppies and dogs for several years through a local organization! I am in school studying animal behavior and have done an internship at a cat shelter giving enrichment and behavior training to the particularly shy cats. About: I've raised two energetic puppies through adolescence and frequently provide dog-sitting services for friends in the area. I also have experience working as an enrichment specialist at a well-known doggy daycare in Rochester and volunteering as a foster for local rescues. I am experienced with anxious dogs and can adapt to your fur-baby's specific needs. I'm trained in basic human and canine CPR, and I'm skilled at recognizing early signs of reactive behavior in animals. While I'm not perfect, I'm highly attentive. Since I’m home most of the time, I’ll ensure your pet stays healthy, happy, and safe! We are an adventure duo -- you can catch us at the beach playing fetch in the water, hiking, or just taking long strolls along the canal! On days where the weather is rainy, we still get 3 walks a day (morning, noon, evening) with thorough wipe downs after! Meal times are interwoven with short training sessions. I have dedicated several rooms in my house to doggy activity areas -- agility equipment, floor mats, etc (see photos). Grooming is done very regularly. My pup has environmental allergies so we also do a water rinse daily when we return from our adventures. When your baby stays with me, they will receive the same treatment (if they are comfortable getting brushed). He is my entire life and I couldn’t be happier! I have included photos of my home (and the excessive amount of dog toys we own) in my profile. Several of the rooms in my house are dedicated to doggy activities/enrichment and I also have a fenced in yard. I have also made sure that my set up allows me to separate dogs from each other if they ever get over stimulated -- I have enough rooms where each dog can be in their own room. I also have a doggy door so most days when the weather is not atrocious the dogs can relieve themselves/play as they please. Also my sun room is dedicated to dog care so if need be I can gate off/separate pooches that get too worked up (or just need privacy eating). I do have two crates — one for super small dogs and the other for dogs up to 35 lbs. My dog is crate trained but prefers free range so I have dog beds in every single room. Dogs are welcome on furniture but please make sure they have been recently bathed (within a few days before) if you are boarding as we keep our home extremely clean (the carpets get washed every month and vacuum and swiffering are done daily). We are probably not a good fit if your dog does not get along with other dogs, because my dog is still young and very energetic. If your dog does not like to play but does not react aggressively to other dogs attempting to initiate play, Momo would be fine as he does eventually give up if the other dog does not engage him at all. When we schedule a meet and greet, you can expect to meet us outside the front yard for a couple block long walk together before going to the backyard to let the pooches sniff each other out. Since Momo is a chow-mix, he is protective by nature and does not like it if other fur-babies he does not know well try to jump on his mom so I will likely only greet your baby after I put him back in the house.

I am currently in my undergrad for medical illustration and I am taking pre-vet classes. You won’t find someone as loving and caring to your pets as I am. About: I have had dogs my whole life. I adopted my first dog as an adult about 6 years ago, and have since raised three dogs and multiple cats. I am comfortable with large dogs (I own a 90 lbs black lab) as well as administering medications and management of high need dogs. I work from home, so while I am caring for your pets I have the flexibility to take them out whenever they need and make sure they are enriched and cared for. I have a fairly flexible work from home job, so while pet sitting I will be with your pets for the majority of the time. My own dogs are all high needs. About: I've had several dogs in my life, smaller and larger dogs. I had a cocker spaniel mix when I was a kid, a collie when my kids were young, and most recently a German shepherd. Each had their own personality and I have special memories of each one of them. I have taken care of older dogs and younger dogs. I can handle the energy of younger dogs and the needs of older ones. I have friends that I have stayed at their house for a couple of weeks to spend time with their dog while they were on vacation. We went for walks twice a day and had a lot of time playing together. If you just need someone to come to walk your dog or just spend time with your cat, I have the flexibility in my day to do that. My first goal is to make your dog or cat comfortable with my visit. If I'm staying in your home, I will follow the routine you have set to do just that.

About: I've cared for animals my entire life from hamsters to cattle.. but dogs are my love! I have experience with all types and sizes, but specialize in bully breeds and mastiffs. It's important to me that dogs are balanced with training and play (which they'll get with me!). I'm also proficient in training tools such as prong and e-collars in case your pup is in training and needs continuation during our time together. I work full time from home with a flexible schedule. My work day schedule allows for drop-ins and walks given adequate notice. Emergency visits/walks are also available as I know how tough it can be when those last minute changes come up. Pet sitting in your home is preferred. I've found that this keeps your pup(s) more comfortable and less stressed during your time away. Each situation is different, and I'm open to chat through different options.

We have a very open schedule and can almost always assist whenever a client needs. We live closely to multiple public parks, Lake Ontario, Canalside, etc. Our 3 dogs enjoy everywhere we have taken them and we hope that your pets will enjoy these places too. We do offer pet sitting at your home, we would request that we have a way to enter the home and if any products are specific to YOUR PET that they are provided for our use. (Example prescription food, medications, enrichment toys) The house sitting details will be thoroughly worked through with the homeowner beforehand.
About: I have had much experience around animals. From the time I was little, our family has taken care of 3 dog and 5 cats. As I grew up, I have had my own cat that lived with me for 18 years, name was Virginia. She was half siamese. I am currently working partime, so I will have plenty of time working with your pups and cats! I am also available on the weekend for boarding! I have a nice apartment in a safe neighborhood in Irondequoit. I can walk and housesit your cat/dog in a safe place. Their is also a dog park behind my home.
