She plays with Maya’s little Milo and seems to love Maya just as much as she loves being with us. About: I've taken care of all different types of pets ranging from lizards to horses and sheep since I was young. Have taken care of family, friends, and neighbors pets as well as house sat while pet sitting. I have also worked on a family sheep farm and a friend's horse farm. I have been relied on to feed, walk and play with cats and dogs. I have been been responsible for changing bedding and bathe pets when required. I work and have school during the week and on Saturdays. I am available to take care of animals in the morning and evening/night. If I have a break in my schedule I can take check on and care for the pets during the afternoon. In my home I have a specific diet my cat follows and a routine for her everyday. When I house or pet sit, I follow the directions given to me by the owners. I always request there be a specific vet or emergency number to call in case of emergencies.

About: My husband and I both work full time out of the house. We're not home during the week 8-9 hours at a time. We live in a single story house on 14.75 acres (no fence). I have had dogs most of my life before moving to Central New York, then finally got our dog in 2017 after moving into our house. My husband and I personally have a dog named Stitch and 2 rabbits, Zander and Rocky. If any of the dogs can't leave their cages alone we relocate the rabbits to another room. No worries they are used to this. Where we can enjoy a good game of fetch in the back yard (long line of course). About: I’ve had multiple dogs all my life and raised plenty of puppies. All kinds of dogs are my favorite people! They bring so much joy and energy to life I have 6 of my own dogs and live on a farm, so walking the fields and woods on our property is a daily occurrence. My dogs truly run my life! Lol I have a large fenced back yard as well as 50 acres to walk with them. There are dog doors to the fenced yard and my pack of 6 dogs provide plenty of entertainment and exercise for visiting pups.

About: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

About: I've owned multiple cats, and dogs including a plotthound, and a Doberman. I had a pit bull and watch my mother's cattahoula, and other mixed breed dog Lucy. I've been to training classes with dogs, and understand animals very well. I'm extremely compassionate, and can pick up on animals emotions, and see there needs. We've owned animals since I was 5, and it was one of the best things about growing up in our household. Currently there are no animals in the household. At the moment I have a completely open schedule I typically work tech contracts along with other contracts most recently working remotely for various companies. A small kids pool in the summer, walk to the park, regular training, only natural and safe treats. I dehydrate my own healthy treats, We play often, and are continuously teaching positive behaviors.

“Ashley was absolutely amazing! She and her husband, Brian, took such good care of our girl. She got so much attention and was always so happy. We got daily elaborated updates with plenty of pictures. They listened to all our concerns and treated her like one of their dogs. They were so considerate and made the separation so much easier for us. We had a medical emergency and had to delay our return and without skipping a bit they agreed to take care for a few more days and even went above and beyond and got her the food that she needs. We returned to find her so happy and healthy and we will definitely leave her with them again!”

“This was our first time leaving our sweet girl, and we went back and forth on different options. We ultimately decided to try an overnight sitter first, with the plan to move forward if it felt like a good fit—and we’re so glad we did. Kai is a rescue, so we’re always a bit concerned about how she’ll do around other dogs. But at Maya’s, Kai becomes a completely different dog! She plays with Maya’s little Milo and seems to love Maya just as much as she loves being with us. During her first stay, Kai was a little nervous, but the second time—when we brought her for a longer stay—it felt like a full-on reunion. She was so excited to see Maya and Milo, and that gave us all the reassurance we needed to truly relax while we were away. Maya went above and beyond by sending us tons of pictures and videos of Kai’s “vacation,” and it genuinely looked like she was having the best time. In fact, we even came home a day early and still let Kai stay the extra day because she was clearly having such a blast! We will absolutely continue to use Maya as our go-to sitter.
