About: Hii My name is Selena, i’ve been working with animals since I was 10 years old. I’ve had dogs and cats and taken care them myself. I am very understanding person considering i’ve had a lot of pets and also come from a big family. i’ve taken care of neighbors animals for a while and never had a complaint. pet care fits in my schedule because i pet sit part time. i am a full time college student but on weekend and nights i dog sit. About: I grew up with two cats, so I love cats as well as dogs. In 2019, I adopted an incredibly loving, gorgeous lab pit named Lucy, and she keeps me very active every day! She was a rescue dog, and although we were originally fostering her, I bonded with her too much to let her go. I’ve always been a natural introvert and have been drawn to the compassion of animals. About: I grew up with dogs and recently owned 2 rescued dogs. I have land around my home and access to a wooded area with trails for longer walks. I am comfortable with caring for dogs in any facet. I am a teacher and I am looking for summer work. I am free every day until late August. I am willing to walk your dog in your neighborhood or board a dog over night. I have a stake in my yard for when my daughter visits with her 35 lb. Dog. Previous bigger dogs were walked on a leash at all times. I usually walk my dogs 1-2x daily for up to a 1/2 hour.
About: I have 6+ years of taking care of my 2 jack Russell’s, neighbors dogs + cats in 3 different states and my boyfriends parents 2 cats (1 disabled). Promptly giving medicine to those animals in need for specific time, and patience tending to their attentions and needs. I work full time remote M-Thursday 8am-4pm with an hour and half lunch break each day. I work 3x a week part time on site and can be flexible as needed. I have a high energy dog (Jack Russell) that requires a lot of assertiveness and strict use of instruction. But at the same time requires rewards and playtime. I do allow pets on the furniture, just not in my bed, and have a fully fenced in yard for playtime, as well as the ability to take your furry friend on walks as well! About: (Saying up front that I am not comfortable using a prong collar, so if that’s something you use on your dog, I don’t believe I’m a right fit for the service you want. Please don’t invite me to your home and surprise me with a prong collar—I will not use it on your dog.) Now here’s my bio: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.
