About: 20 plus years experienced caretaker. I've rescued, fostered and adopted senior pets, pregnant mamas, puppies and the like. I have experience with walks, overnights, administering meds, wound care and of course snuggles. I work a pretty flexible part time schedule of afternoon and early evening hours a few days a week that allows me to schedule visits as needed to accommodate your pets schedule. However I am instructed to do so by the owner. In my home, I have a fenced in yard, there is also a dog park in the community. I have animal crates if needed. Large and small depending upon what is needed. I also have a silly dog of my own at home as a companion.

About: Common courtesy and communication is paramount. **Willing to travel up to an hour away. Just because Rover says you are outside my service area it does not always mean you are. I have clients an hour North and South of me. **Necessary update as of 6/21/23** I will require current credit card info be on file at your vet or provided for me in your pet write up ONLY in case of emergency. In the event of an emergency and I could not get a hold of the human, puppies have no pockets to hold a card, the vet required me to pay. I have raised 3 separate RESCUE Rottweilers to be exceptional ambassadors of their breed. I currently do not have any pets since my big boy passed away in 2016. I hope to again one day have my own dogs. Until then I will love YOUR pet. **I DO NOT board animals at my home. Only repeat clients would MAYBE be possible for a very short amount of time.** Clients pets have included many breeds, species for days, weeks. Many Golden Retrievers, Doodles, mixes aka Heinz57s, Old English Sheep dog, lots of kitties, a chameleon, turtles, a bearded dragon, a small bird, fish, Rottweilers, a very challenging but lovable English Bulldog and Huskies one of which was very reactive. Oh and a LOT of house plants! PLEASE NOTE: I am deathly allergic to horses which I am very sad about. Any type of animal requiring LARGE amounts of hay would also be a problem i.e, goats, cows, alpacas I am sorry to say. Small rodent animals requiring hay for food or bedding has not been a big deal. My personnel dogs were very public dogs, parks, events etc. With the ever present fact in mind that as good as my animal was it is still an animal. Never purposely putting them in a situation to be loose (unless at home or a fenced park) or get into anything that could harm them. Read quite a few books/manuals by military working dog trainers in hopes of training a service oriented Rottie. Came very close to passing the Good Citizen certification but my dogs never liked the “stay” part when I had to walk away with my back turned. They just had to be next to me. So close. PLEASE NOTE: I have my preferences set to NOT to show any photos of YOUR pet publicly. I would ask permission first to share. Photos only NEVER infomation of course. My schedule allows me to be available to be in YOUR HOME, with your pets all day/night, unless noted ahead of time and of course trips to the store. I have many types of animals that insist on sleeping in bed just like they do when their people are home which in fine by me. Just take some Benadryl and snuggle on in. I try to stick closely to how the home runs normally so the pets do not have any surprises that can make them anxious. Sleep, food, walks, play time etc. I supervise dogs in their own yard fenced or not. I am very organized and like an outlined idea of their schedule to be written down for me to follow as closely as YOU would.

About: I have been a dog owners for 15 years. My two beautiful shitzus have since gone to the rainbow bridge. I miss those wagging tails and long walks. I would love to share my time and love with your pet. I know how difficult it is to find a sitter and be comfortable while your apart from your fur babies. I have recently retired and home all day. About: I have taken care of animals my whole life. Been boarding and running daycare full time for 10+ years. I have studied dog behaviors, CPR trained, used to train and have spent my life learning dogs. I board 7 days a week and run daycare Tues-Fri We have a large dog specific room which daycare is run out of (while boarding your dog can join daycare for no extra cost) this room has a dog door that leads to the large fenced in yard. Once daycare is complete or dog dependent, the door comes open and the pups join our pack (2) snuggling on the couch and begging in the kitchen 😉

About: Hi! I’m Ella! My passion is anything animals, and it always has been! I frequently volunteer and work with local shelters and rescues, I also have worked as veterinary assistant for 2 years so I have a lot of experience with administering medications and emergencies! I currently have 3 dogs of my own, all are under 35 pounds but get along nicely with other pets. If your pet is staying at my home and really doesn’t like other pets, I could definitely accommodate keeping them separated! I treat my dogs and others as my babies, I’m always letting them out whenever necessary, and making sure to administer any medication properly and on time, I let my personal pets on furniture and beds, but understand if you have rules regarding that and I will be sure to follow those. I have boarded friends dogs at my home before for the past two years, and have cared for both dogs and cats in others homes. I live farther off the road on 31 acres, we have a super large yard, and lots of wooded trails! If I am staying in your home overnights I will need to currently bring along my little senior dog, as he requires medication and supervision from me. He is very well behaved, and is mostly just in my arms being carried the whole time. I’m very flexible, so if you have any questions at all, be sure to reach out to me! I’m currently home full time, so your furbaby will never be left alone and have supervision 24/7! Also, if your pet has a schedule that they’re used, please do let me know so I can continue that! I prefer to take pups out on a leash as my yard is not fenced, however if you feel that your pup would do okay off leash, I can let them off for periods of time. I of course will always be right there with them and supervising! I also have a very large home, so there is plenty of room to play inside as well!
“Kelly provided 5-star doggie day care for our dog as we toured Saratoga Springs and attended a horse race at the Saratoga Racetrack. Besides being a convenient location to Saratoga Springs, Kelly’s house was perfectly set up for dog sitting with a clean food and water bowl. Kelly was so caring and wanted to know of any food restrictions and special care instructions during our dog’s stay. Kelly was incredibly communicative and responsive throughout the booking process as well as during our dog’s stay. She even was super helpful with tips on where to eat and where to go for our day in Saratoga Springs. We will definitely rebook with Kelly in future visits to Saratoga Springs. About: Growing up, I've had a couple of dogs. Our first was a mix (part husky, terrier, etc.) named O'Doolie who lived to be 16! I was young when we had her, so I don't remember her puppy years. Our other dog we had since I was in elementary school up to my early 20s was Dixie Lee. She was a Miniature Schnauzer and was the sweetest dog ever! I enjoyed bathing her, brushing her teeth, and giving her so much love and attention. My husband and I work together as landscape designers! During the winter months, our schedule is very slow. Whether it’s daily walks, enrichment, or quiet companionship, caring for dogs is something I truly enjoy and prioritize. I live in a quiet country home with plenty of outdoor space. While I don’t have a fenced yard, dogs are always supervised and taken outside on a leash so they can safely explore and enjoy the fresh air. Safety is always my top priority. Please let me know if your pup is off-leashed trained, so I may work with them after they are comfortable on the property. Dogs in my care will also have the companionship of my friendly corgi, Ginger, who is well-socialized and enjoys being around other dogs. The newest addition to my household is Nori, a corgi puppy. She currently has a lot of energy and is in training, doing very well. I follow each dog’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care needs, and I provide regular updates so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for. Your dogs and my dogs are allowed on the couch and the bed. We love to snuggle up!
About: I've had pets since I was 7 years old and have always loved animals. My husband and I have 3 cats, Olive, Marcel and Gus. I enjoy being able to spend time with other people’s pets and ensure they are cared for and have the same routines and schedules as when their pet parents are home. I’ve cared for friends and family's animals in the past. I can administer medicine, follow feeding schedules, walk, play and spend quality time with your pets while you are away. My husband and I moved from Indianapolis to New York in October of 2022. We’ve been spending most our time on home renovations and loving how peaceful our new home is. About: I've been around pets my whole life they are the best thing ever created. I've had a 3 dogs and about probably 13 cats in total growing up. Animals are my passion. I've always taken care of my fur babies before myself. When it comes to my fur babies - they have been a part of my life for nearly a decade. About: I just lost my 13.5 year old shepherd, I have been skilled in taking care of him and his old age and needs, I spent his whole life training him in German and English. I spend all day with dogs and know dog behavior very well, I have worked in boarding facility’s giving meds and food and walking dogs and learning their specific personalities.
