“John was amazing! Super responsive, even to a last-minute/ day-of booking! He took wonderful care of our lil Roxy, and sent lots of updates and photos throughout the days, which we so appreciated :) She’s 15 years old and can sometimes be a little skiddish, but she took right to him and he made her feel right at home. He’s a great dog sitter and was very kind and caring, will definitely be booking with him again!”

“Kassandra and Johnathan were great with our Puppy Leo! He is a big ball of energy and they were great with him and he loved playing with their dog Charlie. I would recommend to anyone in the area and will definitely bring Leo back when we need boarding again!”

“Rebecca was an outstanding dog sitter and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. She was attentive, easy to communicate with, and clearly cared about our dog as if he were her own. She kept us updated with photos of their walks, playtime, and even downtime, which really showed how comfortable and happy he was in her care. It was easily the best boarding experience our dog has ever had, and we could tell he genuinely enjoyed his time with her. I can’t recommend Rebecca highly enough and would absolutely trust her again in the future.”

“I'm thrilled that I found Maegan to care for my dog Finnigan when I go away. Finnigan's first overnight with Maegan was a complete success and I didn't have to worry about a thing! Finn loved her and he loved being with other dogs. I most definitely recommend Maegan as a caregiver for your fur baby!”

“Chrissy was amazing. I would give more stars if I could. She treated our boy wonderful! She was very attentive and sent us updates daily! We always hate leaving our boy behind and knowing he was in good hand really helped us and we didn’t have to worry about him at all!”

“Ginger was wonderful. She took our 5 month old puppy for 3 nights. She provided plenty of updates and pictures. We felt very comfortable leaving our puppy with her. I’m thankful we found her through this app.”

“So very thankful to have found such a kind and loving dog sitter. Gordie and Rooney loved Jillian and her kids. We came home from a long 7 hour drive to very happy and tired puppies. Our Gordie was also a huge fan of any dirt he could find so we came back to a very clean pup as well. We are so relieved to have found such a great person to love our dogs like her own while we are away”

“Kathy looked after our 1yr old Cavalier for 2 nights while we were out of town. Kathy is a knowledgeable and caring dog lover and we have already booked another stay with her.”

“We had a wonderful experience leaving our pup with Karen. She made us feel completely comfortable and most importantly Lulu was happy! We got frequent updates, Lulu got many walks and we couldn’t be happier with the care she received. Will def book again with Karen!”

About: I have worked and lived with working police k9s and pet dogs. I grew up around dogs, cats, and other animals. I foster kittens for the local animal shelter every year for last several years, so there may be some additional felines at times. I’ve delivered babies and have cared for sick animals. My last dog was a giant breed with special needs in the end, and now have a toy Mexican hairless dog, and one indoor/outdoor cat. It’s just me and the two pets so a nice quiet calm house with fenced yard and safe neighborhood with great walking paths. I really enjoy animals and will treat your pet with love and care. If I have to work that day they get whatever care they need in the AM and when I return, I go straight to them. Often I ask the neighbor to give a midday potty break to the dogs if needed! We go for a nice walk, or jog depending on the weather. Sometimes we walk to road other times through the woods. We may go for a little outting, I bring my dog whenever I can, or spend time in the yard hanging out. Couch cuddles are a must, every day for us lol. Days off I center around my pets as much as I can :) Basic necessities are a given: food, water, walking/playing, potty breaks! The cats litter gets scooped and dog poo cleaned up. If needed, medications administered. In my home the pets are family, and we are always willing to temporarily add to it - the more the merrier!
“Rocky clearly enjoyed his stay with his new friends, although happy to see me he clearly was upset leaving Bear, whined half way home and slept like a rock ! Thanks again to Mike and we will look forward to our next stay :)”

“It was my first time boarding a dog, ever! They made me feel so at ease leaving my baby with them. I honestly think she didn't wanna leave. I'm so grateful for the daily updates also. I'm so happy I chose them.”

“Natthinee is an awesome sitter! She communicates daily w an update and photos. My doodle got along w hers. Many walks. Snuggles on the couch😊 I will definitely have her watch Rudy again even though she’s a 30 minute drive away👍👍”

“Awoo, thank you very much for taking great care of our sweet Jolene! My apologies for leaving a late review & tip for your companionship, kindness and flexibility! You are an awesome human Doggo best fur-friend. We will be sure to book again. Thanks Awoo!!!”

“We are so fortunate to have met Kyle. It is clear how much she loves dogs and goes to great lengths to be sure that they are comfortable. She sends lots of updates, pictures and videos, so the parents are put at ease as well. Our anxious pup was immediately at home, and came back happy and tired from all of the play. Thank you to our new friend Kyle for spoiling our fur baby!”

“Emily is exceptional! This was our first time using Rover after moving to a new home and not yet knowing people around us to help take care of our cat. Emily was able to accommodate a last minute request, answered our questions, and most importantly was super communicative while we were away. She clearly cared about our cat and spent time with her, but also looked after the house which eased our worries. I could tell from the photos that our cat warmed up to her! Thank you so much Emily!”

“This was our first time using Rover and Michelle made us feel very comfortable and even came and met us beforehand to explain the process. She did a great job with our shy cat.”

“Kelly is an amazing cat whisperer who has taken wonderful care of our skittish cat. She goes above and beyond daily care and our cat actually sits on her lap. Very good with communication. Highly recommend!”

About: All my life, I have had a special connection with animals. Even the pets that are "sassier" than others, I have been able to connect with to make them comfortable. Animals love me, and I love them! I attribute this to the fact that I have been a pet sitter in my neighborhood since middle school, and I have had several different kinds of pets growing up. Now that I am a college graduate, I am looking to expand my network. I have experience with cats and dogs of all ages, as well as some more exotic pets. Please let me know if you have any questions for me! I work full-time at an OB/GYN clinic 4 days a week. My hours are from 7 am to 5:30 pm, so I am free most days after 5:30 pm. I have one day off a week, and I do not work there on weekends. My off day is usually Mondays but it can vary; I am almost always free on weekends. I get my schedule well in advance, so if you want to know when I am available a certain week, I will definitely be able to tell you! Every pet is different. My pets at home have specific routines that they like to stick to and are more comfortable with. In my experience, I usually ask the owner to write or message me what their pet needs and when they need it. This way, they don't feel that too much has changed from their day to day, even if their owner isn't there. For example, people usually let me know what time their pet eats, how many times they usually need to go to the bathroom, and generally what makes them happy. This way, I can give them what they need and make them comfortable when they are missing you!

About: I am a college sophomore on the pre-veterinary track. I have extensive animal experience, including, but not limited to, giving medications to special needs and elderly cats. I have worked with animals with all different temperaments and am able to work with each one at the level that they are comfortable with. I won't just watch your cat. I will make sure that they are happy and played with if they want to be! As well as, maintaining communication and providing regular updates to assure you and your family that your pets are doing great!

“Abigail was great with my pups and always arrived on time. She made sure my dogs got a bathroom break and treats, as well as making sure they were comfortable before leaving. Highly recommend her for any pet care needs!”
“Donna was great watching my three senior cats again! She dealt with one of my cats constantly trying to escape out the front door and another cat that had many accidents around the house. I received multiple pictures every day and communication was excellent. Even my shy cat Panda was able to feel comfortable with her. I would definitely book Donna anytime!”

“Allison is so lovely!! I knew my kitties were in great hands immediately upon meeting her. She is very sweet, kind and always sent photo updates during her visits. Hands down, I would book with Allison again next time I’m in need of cat care!”

About: I foster with the local animal Shelter. Have had pregnant mommas, delivered babies, administered meds, raised plenty of good cat citizens. I also grew up with a cat, have almost always had a pet cat since college, and currently have an indoor/outdoor cat I rescued, and sphinx cats in my family. Love them and their antics

“This was first time using ROVER and selecting C.B. was definitely a great decision. She took great care of Rocko and communicated well. Seh committed to and followed thru on all the visits we requested. Her messages and pictures reassured us Rocko was in good hands. Many thanks to you C.B.”

“Angela treated our kitties so well and went above and beyond to be communicative with us and send detailed updates. Our kitties were in such a happy mood when we arrived home. We would definitely call Angela again next time we head out of town and feel at ease knowing they are in good hands🥰”

About: I have years of experience caring for cats of all ages, from playful kittens to senior companions. Plus, I take pride in maintaining a clean and fresh litter box environment, so your kitty always has a tidy space. Your cat’s happiness and well-being are my top priorities! 🐾

“Alexandria is great! She dropped in to feed my cat once a day for 3 weeks. Daily she would let me know how he was doing and send the most photogenic pictures of my guy. She even scooped the litter daily and took out the garbage before I came home. Highly recommend!”

“Fiona and Filip were both amazing cat sitters for my two fur babies. They were prompt, responsive and so friendly with my girls. They both made sure to send photos, give updates on the rover card and put my mind at ease knowing my girls were in good hands while I was away on a trip. I will 100% book them again in the future!!”

“This was our first experience using Rover. Jon showed up on time for our initial introduction meeting and helped us to better understand the process. He took fine care of our cats and kept us informed as to how they were doing and sent us pictures for each visit. We plan to hire Jon again in the near future....”

About: I have had pets since I was 4 years old! I love having pets in my home and making them a part of my family. My dog loves every dog she has ever met and loves to have a playmate! If you bring your pet to my house they will be treated like one of my family members! I work full time Monday-Friday 7:30-4, but my husband works from home and I am home all day during the weekends. My husband also loves dogs and has plenty of free time during his work day to take walks and give lots of love! I have a fenced in back yard with lots of room for running. We are on a cul de sac so there is very little traffic in my part of the neighborhood. My home also has several baby gates to make sure that your pet is safe if I have to leave them in the house for a short amount of time.
About: I have taken care of animals my whole life. Been boarding and running daycare full time for 10+ years. I have studied dog behaviors, CPR trained, used to train and have spent my life learning dogs. Part of my business is even making pet products like bow ties, bandanas, toys, healthy treats, signs and organic paw wax. I run my boarding and daycare full time. It is what i live every day. I board 7 days a week and run daycare Tues-Fri We have a large dog specific room which daycare is run out of (while boarding your dog can join daycare for no extra cost) this room has a dog door that leads to the large fenced in yard. Once daycare is complete or dog dependent, the door comes open and the pups join our pack (2) snuggling on the couch and begging in the kitchen 😉
“Sierra took great care of my elderly dog. He was so content when I picked him up that he didn’t want to go home. She kept him separated from the other dogs, but in the same room, so he could see and interact with his new friends without any risk to him physically. My little potato really enjoyed his time there and I’ll be bringing him back!”

“Jack has been great with my dog. she goes twice a week for daycare and she is always excited to get there and never wants to leave. Jack has been very flexible and professional!”

About: I’ve been caring for pets since I was 5 years old, when I got my very first dachshunds—Peanut and Sweetie. By the time I was 9, I had adopted a shelter dachshund and raised two more dachshund puppies, bringing my total to five dogs at once. I personally trained all of them, which gave me a strong foundation in understanding dog behavior, especially with independent or energetic breeds like dachshunds. Throughout middle school and my teen years, I helped neighbors by dog sitting, walking, and doing drop-in visits, often just for playtime and companionship. One of the dogs I cared for regularly was a sweet senior named Duke, who I’d take outside and spend time with while his owner was away. These experiences taught me how to adapt my care for both high-energy pups and older dogs who need a gentler, more patient approach. In addition to my pet care experience, I am also a dancer, choreographer, and educator. Through years of teaching and working with students of all ages, I’ve developed strong skills in patience, attentiveness, and understanding individual needs—qualities that naturally carry over into the way I care for animals. I also have years of experience caring for cats—both my family’s and now my own sweet cat, Tom. I understand feline behavior, how to earn their trust, and how to create a calm, safe environment where they feel comfortable while you’re away. As a stay-at-home mom to my 2-month-old baby, I’m home often and have a flexible, attentive schedule. I truly value creating a calm, safe, and loving environment—for both pets and people. Whether it’s puppies, seniors, small breeds, or shy kitties, I bring patience, love, and reliable care to every visit. I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. Pet care fits naturally into my daily life. I genuinely love spending time with animals, and I build my schedule to be available when pets need me most—whether it’s morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening playtime. I’m flexible, dependable, and happy to accommodate different routines, including weekend or last-minute needs. Caring for pets doesn’t feel like a chore to me—it’s something I truly enjoy. I prioritize each pet’s safety and comfort above all else. In your home, I follow your routines closely to ensure your pet feels secure and stress-free. I always keep a close eye on surroundings during walks, avoiding unsafe areas or triggers. I’m familiar with handling pets with anxiety, special diets, or medication needs, and I treat every space with respect—leaving it clean and exactly how I found it. Whether I’m in your home or caring for your pet during a walk, you can count on me to show up with calm energy, attentiveness, and love.

About: Life-long dog and cat owner who makes sure your best friend gets what they need while you're away. In addition to my own dogs and cats, I've cared for many pets in the community while mom and/or dad are on the road. Available almost every day for dog walks and drop-ins. I set my own schedule so your pet always gets the care, when and where, we decide. Currently not offering pet-sitting in my home. Maybe in the future. “Katie came through for me last minute and was absolutely wonderful with my two pups! I was in Albany for a family event and scrambling to find dog care after my original plans fell through. Thankfully, Katie was available and took great care of them for the day so I could enjoy time with my family stress-free. She was patient, attentive, and especially caring with my sweet 3-legged girl. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing they were in good hands. I’m very grateful for her help and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate dog sitter!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, from 4-month-old puppies to seniors up to 16 years old. I’m especially comfortable with senior dogs and have experience caring for a blind dog who needed medication and close monitoring, so I understand how important patience and attention to detail are. I try to stick closely to each dog’s routine so they feel safe and at ease. I work from home, so I have a flexible schedule for walks and drop-ins and can be reliable with timing. I’ll also keep you updated so you know your pet is in good hands. I work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule for walks and drop-in visits throughout the day. About: I’m new to dog sitting professionally, but caring for dogs is something I’ve done my entire life. I grew up around dogs and have hands-on experience with a variety of breeds, including breeding and raising them. This background has given me a strong understanding of dog behavior, needs, and how to handle different temperaments. I currently own a large Great Dane, so I’m very comfortable managing big, powerful dogs as well as smaller breeds. From feeding routines and exercise to recognizing signs of stress or illness, I’m confident in providing attentive, reliable care. My lifelong experience with animals allows me to create a safe, loving, and structured environment for every dog I care for. As a stay-at-home dog mom, caring for animals is already a natural part of my daily life. My schedule is centered around being home, which allows me to give pets the time, attention, and consistency they deserve. Because I’m not juggling a traditional 9–5, I’m able to provide flexible, reliable care—whether that means regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, or just being there to keep your pet company. Pet care fits perfectly into my routine, and I truly enjoy making animals feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. When pets stay in my home, they become part of a calm, loving environment alongside my own dog, who is friendly, social, and used to being around other animals. I always take the time to introduce pets slowly and safely to make sure everyone feels comfortable and gets along well. Throughout their stay, I provide constant supervision, plenty of playtime, regular potty breaks, and a consistent routine. I also pay close attention to each pet’s personality—whether they love to play or prefer a more relaxed, quiet space—and adjust accordingly. If needed, I can separate pets to give them their own space and ensure everyone feels safe. My goal is to create a home-away-from-home where your pet feels secure, happy, and well cared for while also enjoying positive social interaction.

I don't book multiple dogs unless it's the same family or family friends dogs that know each other. We are a family-owned Electrical Contracting business, so I work from home and will be at your pet's beckon call for all their needs and I will love having their company and companionship. I am available days, nights weekends and holidays. My goal is for your pet and his family to be as stress free as possible, the best I can while you're away. I will keep your normal daily routine as if they were home, I am happy to do more if you desire, such as extra walks at the park, riding along in the car for errands, and more if you'd like. Medications, special needs are not a problem. Even with the more challenging ones.
About: Hi I am Fiona! My boyfriend Filip and I are looking to make some extra money on the side of our full time jobs. We both love animals and would love spending our free time taking care of yours! We have 2 cats currently, but have had dogs of entire lives. We are both active and would love to go on walks with your dogs, but we wouldn’t mind a lazy pet who just wants treats and cuddles! Filip and I both work full time during the week (Engineer and Internal Auditor) so we are looking to do weekend stop ins and weeknight walks. We want your pets to feel comfortable around us as we do around them so we will care for them based on what you let us know.
About: I don’t just love animals, I have been around them since the day I was born. I have had cats, dogs, birds, and small rodents since I was born. I have taken care of these animals from a very young age and believe I have a natural understanding of pets and their behaviors! I currently work full time at a middle school in Albany where my hours are 8 AM to 3 PM. Otherwise, I am usually free and have more availability on weekends, during school breaks and over the summer. I currently am a cat mom and keep all of my cats indoors. When I owned dogs and other animals in the past, I make sure to tend to their unique needs whether that mean adhering to a medication regimen or putting them in their cage/crate as needed.
About: I have 15 years experience caring for dogs of all ages and sizes, as well as small animals and exotics. I foster dogs for a breed specific rescue, with medical and severe behavioral issues so I’ve seen it all. (Dog and human aggression ect…) If dogs are boarding in my home they must be crate trained and/or fully dog and cat friendly. We can always work something out, message me! I do not board cats but would be happy to stop by and spend some time with them. I’m home full time right now! I may go out for a couple hours for dog walking, but other than that someone is always here. We have a spare room if they need their own space. We have lots of experience fostering and crate/ rotate. We always make sure to spend equal quality time with each dog. If I am caring for your pets at your home I will spend the night there with them.

“Awoo, thank you very much for taking great care of our sweet Jolene! My apologies for leaving a late review & tip for your companionship, kindness and flexibility! You are an awesome human Doggo best fur-friend. We will be sure to book again. Thanks Awoo!!!”

“Carolyn was great! My dog seemed to have a great time and enjoyed her sweet pup! She was very accommodating with drop off and pick up times. Carolyn sent pictures to keep us at ease as it was Paddington's first time with her. I would definitely recommend!!”

“I cannot say enough good things about Anna. She took care of our dog Rex. She sent us updates on our puppy and even photos! If you want a pet-sitter you can trust with anything, please book her. She went above and beyond caring for our puppy. Anna is a gem!””
