“Doreen was absolutely wonderful. We were very nervous to leave Chloe, but she had access to the bed (we let her sleep with us), the backyard, the run of the home and endless cuddles from Doreen. We left a piece of our heart with her for two weeks and she kept us updated everyday with videos and pictures and letting us know that Chloe was eating well and loved the other dogs she was with. Chloe is 12 and stopped playing with toys years ago, at Doreens she decided to play with toys again. It was so heartwarming to see, we will be using Doreen for all our petsitting needs with Chloe.”

About: I use to work at a Doggie Hotel. I worked in the kennel area and use to manage the cleaning as well as the food distribution for every dog in the facility. I love taking care of my neighbors pets while they are away for vacation. I'm very hands on when it comes to puppies and training, I've done similar things at my last job as a kennel worker/day care dog counselor. I own 2 bearded dragon and take care of my parents dog from time to time! I make sure to give them special attention everyday. I make sure that each animal gets love and attention every hour of the day! About: I have over 20 years of experience taking care of dogs. I have owned dogs for the past 16 years straight, the last 10 years with two dogs. I have a lot of experience with all types of dogs (from chihuahua to Great Dane) and connect easily with them. After all, I am a dog myself (per the Chinese Zodiac!) Currently I have two rescue dogs: A special needs (epilepsy) Healer/Aussie Shepherd mix named Ace and a senior Supermutt named Maisie. We lost our senior Boston Terrier in early 2023 due to Cushings and Cancer. So, I have experience taking care of dogs from puppy through hospice. Medications and special food needs are no problem. NOTE: As I have two dogs of my own.....if your dog is not well socialized and does not get along with all other dogs, big and small, or has a history of aggressive behavior, please do not put in a "Boarding" booking request. Socialized, friendly dogs only, please. No excessive whiners or barkers and dogs must weigh 35 lbs or less. Thank you! Reliable, Responsible, Mature. I'm currently retired so am able to spend all of my time caring for my animals (and yours). The most i'll ever leave the house for is 2-3 hours for an appointment, but this is rare. We start our days with breakfast at 7am, take a morning hike in the woods or trails or town. Then some relax time at home before lunch and a 1pm neighborhood walk. Then more home time and play or naps until our 4pm hike. Then dinner at 5. All meal times adjustable for your dog's needs. I am able to be home 99% of the time so am always able to focus on the pets needs. I have been an animal lover my whole life and care deeply about the health and well being of animals in my care or under my stewardship. We live close to many hiking trails and nature preserves so the dogs always get plenty of sniff walks and exercise and socialization. Always on leash and always careful of meeting unknown dogs that may be receptive. I'm pretty good at sussing out a dog's behavior signals, if we should meet or not, after so many years.

About: Hi all! My name is Lily, and I am finishing up a marine studies degree with an anthropology minor. The things I love the most in the world are animals and children. Most of my previous jobs have been babysitting as well as house and petsitting. For petsitting, I had stayed the night with cats and dogs, just stopped in for feedings, litter box changes, walks, and anything else that could be needed! I have also worked five summers as a camp counselor. After two summers at a regular camp, I got hired to work as a counselor at a nature center near my home town. Here I learned husbandry skills and behaviors of creatures from ferrets, to sulcata tortoises and lizards, to chickens and goats. I am currently an online student and I have asynchronous classes. I have a lot of availability during the week and weekends. I’m sure I will have the time to help out your pets! As of now I am living at home with family. I have boarded friends’ dogs and rabbits before, but I do prefer housesitting or house visits. “Kiara was amazing with our golden retriever Kona. She sent videos and updates every day from their walks and playtime in her large fenced in yard. Kiara’s policy of dog sitting only one at a time ensured he had love and attention. He came back relaxed and happy, not stressed out at all. Kiara herself is warm and friendly, interested in hearing about all your dog’s foibles, and obviously a calming presence to dogs. We are absolutely going to use her again!”
