Some dogs have invisible fence collars, and need to be driven off the property, or they live on busy streets, that are not safe streets to walk on. I can drive them to a quiet side street or a park, if you prefer. You can request a feeding, if you would like, and I could do a quick scan of the house for any unexpected accidents, and clean them up for you. I can do drop-in visit (15 minutes), or a full 30 minute walk or play in the yard. More time can be requested, if necessary. About: Ive lived with cats ever since I remember, around 2022 I begun caring for a disabled cat, Nippet, who's jaw was broken and permanently deformed. I had to make a special blend of food she could eat, bathe her multiple times a month and feed her medicine as needed. About: I have had dogs, cats, puppies in my life since I was born. I have had the pleasure of training all types of dogs in many different areas. When I was younger my family used to always take trips up to Marthas Vineyard, we always had to leave our dogs at a kennel which we realized later on was not the best thing to do for our dogs. About: I have been an animal lover my whole life, but didn’t truly realize my appreciation for them until high school when I started pet sitting (over ten years ago!) I would watch my friends’ pets when they were on vacation, and felt compelled to make the pets’ stay with me a vacation as well 🐶😊. Since I started watching dogs I always considered them my PIC (partner in crime.). I take them with me on all my adventuress! They meet all my family and friends, and I have even taken a dog on a weekend trip to Block Island (with owners permission of course!) These days, I am home most of the day. I have a small business, which I run out of my home. I am home for majority of the day, but often have to step out for no more than 2 hours at a time. I typically give dogs 2 long walks (30-40 minutes) a day, and take them out in the yard and small walks down the street at least 5 times a day. They get potty breaks every 2-3 hours. I am a VERY active person. I am a marathon runner and avid hiker. No matter what your dog’s activity level is, I will be sure to tucker them out🐶😂. My typical morning and evening walk for dogs is a mile and a half around the reservoir trail in my back yard. I am more than happy to adjust to match your dog’s needs. I live on a small private street. My family and dear neighbors are all nearby. My large yard, close knit community, woods, reservoir trails and loving family truly is a paradise for dogs🐶😊❤️ My schedule varies every day. I can be in and out throughout the day, but never away from home for more than 2-3 hours at a a time. I am typically home for the day by 3pm. Some days I am home all day! It really depends on the week. I live alone and have no pets. I live in a private street with lots of land to explore. I never take dogs off leash when we are outside.

Your dog will be staying in a family style boarding situation, where they get the love and attention from myself, my husband and our 2 children (7 and 10) who adore helping out with all the pups. We have a large fenced in back yard for lots of supervised running, playing and sniffing! I am trained in obedience training and can provide puppy socialization. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a child. I owned two Miniature Pinschers growing up and I adopted one Australian Shepherd mix that has special needs as an adult. I trained all of my dogs from the time they were puppies until they passed away as seniors. I also volunteered at the Humane Society of Westchester. Animals who are usually timid around strangers are comfortable around me right away and they seem to trust me right away. I don't have a lot of room in my studio apartment so I'm only able to watch either 1-2 small dogs or one medium sized dog. Large dogs are too big for my apartment. If I'm at a client's home, I'll change my schedule to meet the needs of the pet. I believe all animals are unique and all have different needs in order to thrive in the environment that they're in. I'm willing to meet those needs by building my schedule around the animals that I'm sitting.

About: Hello! My name is Daphne. Since I was a little girl, I have had a huge passion and love for dogs. I have grown up with bully breeds for my entire life. From Rottweilers to Pit bulls, to American Bulldogs. I currently have an Olde English Bulldog who is the princess of our family. I have a huge love for dogs but specifically bully breeds. I understand how strong they are when going for walks and how much love they have to give. I have experience working at a dog kennel in Putnam Valley taking care of multiple dogs at a time, big and small. I also take care of my neighbors 3 black labs when she is away multiple times a year. I'm available to walk any pup beginning from late morning into the evening, including multiple times a day. I currently live in a house with 3 acres and a huge back yard with forest surrounding it, so it is not fenced. However, I'm more than happy to walk your dog if there's a fear that they will run into the forest. I'm also open to dog-sitting for anyone going on vacation! Our house is set up to accommodate dogs visiting and staying due to my previous fostering, which is how I came to have my two current dogs. Also, I'm a firm believer in positive reinforcement to teach dogs acceptable behavior and manners, so no punishments that may traumatize or hurt the pup!

I had to drop them off without a meet and greet because I was only in town for one day. The first day they stay with someone new, they usually don’t eat. The best indication that they were comfortable and at home with her is that they ate all the food I left. I would gladly leave them with her regularly if I lived nearby.”

About: For the past three years, I’ve volunteered at a local animal shelter with my mother. I completed my senior internship there and now volunteer on my own. In my time at the shelter, I’ve gained lots of dog walking experience, especially with young puppies. I’m familiar with shelter training techniques and with cleaning and sanitation. I have two dogs of my own, one of which is a difficult walker. I know how most types of dog harnesses work. My internship involved spending time in the cat room, during which time I worked with cats of all temperaments. I don’t currently work in an official capacity and don’t play any sports, so I’m free pretty much all the time aside from my volunteer work. I’m going to college in September, so I’m not available for long term arrangements that go past summer. I’m used to animals with a wide range of play styles. I have a dog that loves to play fetch and go for swims, and I live near a large trail system, so I’m most familiar with those forms of enrichment. I have a minivan and can drive dogs to dog parks, trails, and fields.
About: I grew up in a dog-centric household, however I have taken care of my own dogs for the past 19 years. For the last 8 years, I've had the opportunity to foster dogs through different organizations, as well. It has been an extremely rewarding and educational experience with regards to learning about a multitude of different dogs and how best to deal with different dog personalities and what their mannerisms indicate. The foster dogs that I cared for ranged from puppies to senior dogs and included numerous different breeds. I've had dogs that were incredibly easy, as well as ones that were particularly difficult and high maintenance. These experiences have made me open to taking care of all types of dogs; I'm happy to help administer medicine, eye drops, insulin injections, etc. I've experienced it all! My schedule is flexible because I'm currently based from my home. This basically means that I'm available to provide care in whatever capacity needed beginning from late morning until the evening and any day Whenever a dog is my responsibility I make a point of giving them the care and attention that they require. I'm available to walk any pup beginning from late morning into the evening, including multiple times a day. I currently live in a house with 3 acres and a huge back yard with forest surrounding it, so it is not fenced. However, I'm more than happy to walk your dog if there's a fear that they will run into the forest. I'm also open to dog-sitting for anyone going on vacation! Our house is set up to accommodate dogs visiting and staying due to my previous fostering, which is how I came to have my two current dogs. Also, I'm a firm believer in positive reinforcement to teach dogs acceptable behavior and manners, so no punishments that may traumatize or hurt the pup!

About: I’ve taken care of animals ever since I was little. Growing up, I was always around cats. My family always loved them, and we have always had multiple. I would also help take care of them. When I was a little older, we adopted a puppy, and I learned how to care for dogs as well. Now that I am older, I have a cat of my own. I have experience in giving medicine/special diets as my own animals have had many specific diets. I love all animals! I am a recent graduate of James Madison University who is home for the summer and looking to take care of some animals before going to graduate school this fall! :) I love all animals and have grown up with them my entire life. I do whatever I can to keep them happy and comfortable while in my care. I also have experience house/dog sitting for friends and neighbors. While your pet is in my care, I will be the only caregiver.
About: I love dogs, I am very friendly and gentle with dogs and educated! I have owned dogs for my whole life and been surrounded by them from all of my family! I am working and going to school part time, so pet care is a big deal to me. wether it is my own dog, or somebody else’s I will never decline helping ! About: I have a certain way with dogs. Even the most skittish chihuahua would find it difficult to hate me! My sister's dog, Marvin, is one of these skittish chihuahuas. At first he hated me. Now we're best friends. I have a soft spot for pitbulls. I am available seven days a week from 7am to 10pm. I am currently a student at Iona College working on my masters in childhood education. The only thing I love more than teaching (besides golf) is spending time with animals. I try to feel out the animal's environment and their relationship to it. If the animal needs space, I'll provide it. Though, I love nothing more than a good snuggle with a cat or dog. My lap is always available.
