We took care of her through an injury and arthritis which made walking challenging. My family got another dog who is a giant mix rescue with a very different temperament. About: I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with cats, but most of my family had dogs, so I have always been around them. This love for animals also got me into the veterinary field, which I have 6 years experience in. I have years of experience walking, handling, and playing with dogs and now have the experience to give oral medications or injections if needed. I currently don’t have any dogs, but I do have 2 cats. During my day I always make sure I wake up early enough to feed them and clean the litter box. After coming home from work, I feed them dinner and spend some time brushing and playing with them. I then clean the litter box before going to bed and repeat the next day. In my home, I have installed screen doors on the entry doors to prevent my cats from escaping but so they also can see the outside activity. I have socket covers to prevent them from playing in it and make sure to cover all wires so they don’t think they are toys.

I have over 14 years of hands-on experience with dogs, including supervising groups of up to 30 dogs in a professional dog daycare and caring for puppy groups under 4 months old. For more than five years, I also organized dog hikes throughout Westchester County, NY, and Fairfield County, CT, giving dogs a safe, structured, and fun way to exercise and explore. My experience is strongest with Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, Doodles, Cavaliers, and other friendly companion breeds that thrive with individualized attention, exercise, enrichment, and companionship.
