“Nicholas walked my corgi, Santiago, while I was out of town for a couple of days. He went above and beyond and I would highly recommend him to walk/care for your pup. When Santiago met Nicholas he was immediately able to make a connection with him and I felt confident that he would be a good walker for Santiago. Santiago can be stubborn and Nicholas was patient and flexible with Santiago’s needs. Santiago can’t go up and down the stairs and Nicholas was really understanding and carried him up and down the stairs for his walks. Nicholas kept me up to date on Santiago’s walks and sent pictures which I really appreciated. I’ve been a trusted pet care companion for years, working with local families for both long-term and short stays (up to three weeks), as well as drop-in visits. For boarding, my home is fully pet-friendly, with no restrictions on furniture (unless you prefer otherwise) and no toxic plants within reach. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I provide safe, supervised outdoor time using a long lead in nearby grassy areas, along with access to a private patio. We’re also set back from the main road, which creates a calmer environment. For house sitting, I aim to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible while respecting your home. I’m clean, responsible, and low-impact, and I treat every space with care. I follow feeding schedules, walk routines, and any specific instructions closely so your pet feels comfortable and secure in their familiar environment. Safety is always my top priority. I’m attentive, cautious, and respectful when interacting with all animals and other dogs we may encounter. I always follow each owner’s guidance when it comes to socialization, ensuring your pet stays within their comfort zone.

I love walking dogs and there is a dog friendly (leashed only) park near by if your pet enjoys lots of exercise. You can trust me to keep your pets safe, engaged and happy in my home. Your pet will have free range in my house which is dog friendly. I can provide a dog bed, blankets and towels etc. I have a fully fenced backyard that provides a safe and spacious environment for outdoor play. If your pet requires medication I am happy to give as necessary.
About: I’ve grown up surrounded by animals—dogs(5), cats(2), and even lizards—so caring for pets comes naturally to me. From playful puppies to gentle seniors, I give every pet the love, patience, and attention they deserve. I’ve adopted most of my own pets and know how to make animals feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. Being away for college makes me miss my own pets so caring for yours is a joy that feels like home. Im currently in school but am in class on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:50 am and 3:30 pm. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I am in class from 9 am to 12 pm and free for the rest of the day. On Fridays I have on class at 11 am and nothing prior or after. The weekends are also free. I will always prioritize safety and respect when caring for pets in their own homes. I follow all the owner’s rules carefully—whether it’s about feeding schedules, playtime limits, or medication. I make sure doors and gates are secure, and keep a close eye on the pet’s behavior to spot any signs of stress or discomfort. I creating a calm, comforting environment so pets feel safe and loved while their family is away. Communication with the owner is important to me, so I keep them updated and address any concerns promptly. My goal is to make both pets and owners feel confident and comfortable.
About: I’ve taken care of my families dog since I was 13 years old. I currently have a maltipoo who’s 2 years old and I’ve had him since he was a puppy. I’ve also taken care of neighbors dogs in the past as well and they relied on me when they were out of town. I am currently working from home on mondays and Fridays so I have a pretty flexible schedule. I can walk at any point in my day if I don’t have a prior meeting scheduled. I love going for walks to keep dogs active throughout the day. Treats are a necessity and positive reinforcement is needed to be the dogs new best friend
About: I have always grown up with dogs in my home. Currently, my family has one high energy black lab. In September of 2024, I also adopted my first own dog, Millie! I have watched, played with, fed, and walked dogs for many years including family and friends. I am currently in my final year of veterinary school. I also have worked as a veterinary assistant so have first aid and medical skills. I’m in my clinical year of vet school so my schedule varies by which rotation I’m on! Early morning and evening would probably be best for me most of the time. I try to update my availability calendar as often as I can! My home is very safe. There are plenty of paths and green spaces for walking. Your animal would have to get up one flight of steps.

About: Neighbors and family have relied on me to care for their pets, including elderly and special needs animals, as well as exotic reptiles and birds, many times. I’m a part-time student in eco-toxicology at this time studying online so I’m around full time for pet care, feel free to reach out for care any day of the week! I live with my large family, and my roommates have two dogs and two cats, all of which are friendly. We have two spare crates for visitors so let me know if your dog is crate trained! Please keep in mind that my partner joins me for house sitting bookings. We have two cats together and he is also certified by Rover :)
