“Like most people, I was very nervous about leaving my dogs with someone while I was away. However, from the moment I met Alissa I knew my two babies would be okay. She spent a lot of time with us during our initial meet and greet. She answered all our questions and allowed our dogs to hang out in her backyard and just really reassured us that she will love them the same way we do. She communicated regularly while we were gone and sent pictures and videos. What I also appreciated is that she is flexible with drop off and pick up times. So instead of our dogs staying another night, we were able to pick them up on our way home from our trip. I would definitely recommend her to my friends and family.”

About: I am an owner of two cats myself. A 4 year old Maine coon Nacho and a 7 year old rescue calico Annie. Throughout my childhood I’ve grown up with over 10 cats. Whenever family or friends go away I always step up to watch their cats. I am used to any kind of feedings, cleaning litter boxes, and can assist with medication if needed. I make sure doors and gates are secure, and keep a close eye on the pet’s behavior to spot any signs of stress or discomfort. Every dog adjusts differently to a new environment. Most settle in quickly, while others need additional one-on-one support, enrichment, or supervision to feel comfortable. If I determine that a dog requires a significantly higher level of individualized care than expected, I’ll discuss it with you before making any adjustments to the booking. My goal is always to be transparent so we can provide the best possible experience for both you and your dog. I’m home all day and can be very flexible with schedules, feeding times, walks, and routines. This allows me to give each pet plenty of attention, enrichment, and reassurance throughout the day so they always feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away Your peace of mind and your pet’s safety and emotional wellbeing always come first. For this reason I send daily updates with photos/video so you can be at ease knowing your baby is being well taken care of. When caring for pets in my space, I have a fully fenced yard and a built in playmate. I do very slow, supervised introductions with my own dog, Winny, who is a very playful, happy girl. If either dog prefers space, I can easily accommodate comfortably separating the pups as needed both indoor and outdoors.

My apartment has a large gated patio, and my family home has two large grassy areas between a patio with a long lead for supervised outdoors time. I currently work freelance in roles that allow me to be home and present throughout the day. I also work part-time with a pet care company based in Westchester on a flexible schedule which has strengthened my hands-on experience with a wide range of dogs and routines. I’m based in Brooklyn and have access to both my apartment and my family home in Westchster for boarding, depending on what best suits your pet’s needs. My schedule allows me to provide consistent care, regular walks, and attention throughout the day rather than long periods of absence. I’m also open to traveling across the Tri-state area for house sitting and extended stays. I’ve been a trusted pet care companion for years, working with local families for both long-term and short stays (up to three weeks), as well as drop-in visits. For boarding, my home is fully pet-friendly, with no restrictions on furniture (unless you prefer otherwise) and no toxic plants within reach. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I provide safe, supervised outdoor time using a long lead in nearby grassy areas, along with access to a private patio. We’re also set back from the main road, which creates a calmer environment. For house sitting, I aim to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible while respecting your home. I follow feeding schedules, walk routines, and any specific instructions closely so your pet feels comfortable and secure in their familiar environment. Safety is always my top priority. About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have been caring for them most of my life, so being attentive to their needs comes naturally to me. My fiancé, Eric has also always grown up with dogs and was responsible for taking care of dogs and his cat while growing up and they all lived will into their senior years. He is great with more high energy and active dogs, going on long walks, or runs and hikes with them. I work full time where I commute Monday-Friday. Weekends I’m home. My Fiancé also works full time but he gets out a little earlier than I do. For weekend stays we are available to give your furry family the most attention and care. If there is need during the week I’m usually away from home for 10 hours during the day including my commute time to and from work. We will walk and feed them before we leave in the morning and as soon as either of us gets home will do the same and then again before bedtime. In our home, pets are cared for in a calm, safe environment. We live on the second floor of a house in a suburban neighborhood with sidewalks, which allows for safe, structured walks. While we don’t have direct yard access, we make sure dogs get regular walks, exercise, and attention. I also have a senior cat who is naturally shy and takes time to warm up, so I’m very understanding of pets who may be anxious or need a slower, more gentle approach. In a client’s home, I focus on maintaining your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or quiet time. I’m attentive to their behavior and needs, and I always aim to make them feel comfortable and secure while you’re away.
About: I have been trusted by my neighbors & close friends to take care of their dogs over the years. I am open to accommodating different diets, cooking food for your fur baby, bathing/grooming & administering medications (if needed) & walk schedules. I have owned both young and senior dogs from when I was a child and I consider them a part of my family. Any dog in my care would be considered my family, they deserve the best and to feel comfortable and cared for while their dog parent(s) are away. I have an enclosed fenced in backyard and beaches and nature parks/(dog park) are in close vicinity to my home. I am currently available full time to take care of your fur baby. I offer both daytime and overnight boarding services in my home for up to 2 dogs, house sitting services, drop-in visits, & dog walking. Pets in my care would be on a feeding and walk schedule/itinerary that is prepared for them by their owner. Of course playtime and loads of attention and fun will be incorporated into their daily routine! Owners can bring their dog's favorite chew toy or pet bed to make them feel more comfy along with any other supplies deemed necessary. Pets I am watching are more than welcome to sleep on my couch or bed. I am also happy to oblige client requests for photo & video updates of their pets for the duration of their stay.

I do airport transport, coordinate with fosters (and foster), and love on pups that come to the states while they wait to meet their forever families :) Hoping to run my own rescue one day! I work remotely! I have a super flexible schedule. This makes it very easy to keep your pup’s at home routine. Frequent potty and play breaks too! He let me know that he had another booking that would overlap mine, which turned out OK but would have been an issue if the dogs didn’t get along. His apartment is small and it would have been difficult to keep the dogs separated. Also I would have appreciated more photos, especially on the first day with the other dog. He responded promptly with pictures when prompted. Overall, I would recommend him.”

About: Hi! I'm really excited about the prospect of sitting for or walking your dog. I have a 6 year old goldendoodle who is the light of my life! I understand first hand the care and love your pup needs and deserves. Will provide updates and photos to keep you at ease while you’re away! I work from home on Mondays and Fridays, and am in the office Tuesday through Thursday. I’ll have the most availability on the remote days but can be available in the evenings on the others. Can’t wait to meet your pup! Lots of exercise, sniffs, pets and cuddles. My dog Marty is so sweet and friendly with all dogs of any age and breed. He has a soft spot for puppies!
