I am lucky have a fenced in, wooded, private, 2 acre property with plenty of room for zoomies. Boarding dogs is my main gig, so I stay home with them all day and night. About: I have been taking care of pets for over 20 years, starting with my first job as a dog walker and pet sitter. I have continued this on the side in addition to my full-time profession (teacher) and would love to provide an open door for your dog(s) as well! My schedule is very fluid and I get multiple breaks throughout the day, so there will be very little alone time for your dog, however, as a teacher and a coach I have some weekdays that are busier and your dog may be left in the home for 2.5 hour windows until I return from coaching. *currently on paternity leave and home all day* I will ask you to provide any specifics in terms of pet care for your dog prior to having me pet-sit, unless there are no special requests. If no special requests are given, I take the dogs out about 4 times per day - twice for short bathroom trips, one short walk, and one extended walk. About: I’ve had dogs in my life since the fourth grade, and I truly can’t remember a time without one! Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all kinds—whether for neighbors, family, friends, or even friends of friends. I’ve cared for puppies up to senior pups.Dogs have always been a part of my everyday life, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. We absolutely adore our Chihuahua, Romeo, and we’d care for your furry friend just like we care for him — with love, patience, and lots of cuddles. I have a fully wooden fenced with chicken wire backyard and live in a quiet, dog friendly neighborhood with very little traffic. If your pup needs a crate, that’s totally fine we can manage that otherwise, they’re welcome to roam free and make themselves at home. We only have one resident dog, a sweet little Chihuahua whose favorite activity is sunbathing and napping.

“Grace was excellent with our dog, Leni. He had some serious separation anxiety when we dropped him off and went on a hunger strike for several days. Not only did Grace keep us hell informed, she went above and beyond in trying to make Leni feel comfortable in her home and went as far as spoon feeding him to get him to eat. We're so thankful for all that she did to take care of Leni. I would highly recommend Grace to anyone looking for a loving and caring home in which to leave their pup while traveling. “We had such a great experience with Michaelangelo! We had a last-minute need for someone to watch our almost 2-year-old Boxer, Walter, who is VERY energetic and has some separation anxiety. Michaelangelo said yes without hesitation, which we really appreciated. He has two Pomeranians of his own and a great fenced-in yard where Walter could run around and get all of his energy out. Michaelangelo sent us pictures and updates every day, which really helped us feel comfortable knowing Walter was doing well. He was also very quick to respond anytime I had a question.
