About: I grew up in a dog‑loving home and had the privilege of caring for several breeds over the years — first a Boxer, then a Siberian Husky, later a German Shepherd/Malamute mix, and eventually a Pomeranian. About: I grew up with a cat from kitten through old age. When I was old enough to move out I made sure to rescue a geriatric cat to give her the best possible life with the years she had left. I'm very comfortable taking care of any pet, and I have taken care of senior animals who require insulin shots and meticulous diets. One of my favorite electives at university was my 'Psychology of our Pets' class where we learned about how to best care for our furry friends and keep them active and healthy. I have owned dogs, cats, and even birds! Since I'm home from university for the summer, I'm pretty much available at the drop of a dime! While I would prefer a day's notice, I should be able to take care of your pet within two hours of your request. I believe that activities and fun are just as important for pets as they are for humans. Who wants to be stuck in their house all day? I know tons of dog-friendly walking trails, and I'd love to spend a few hours with them & make sure they are well-exercised. I've dealt with a lot of dietary restrictions for pets, so I can follow any directions very closely if needed. About: I own a domestic short-haired named Bruno! He did need medication when I first got him, administered every couple weeks, with constant vet check ups. Bruno is also a laid-back cat with his moments of energy at night. Especially with cats, each one is different and I'm more than flexible to work with them. I currently work at a Doggy Daycare/Pet Hotel so I am very used to being around pets of all shapes and sizes! My usual day consists of picking up after all the dogs, making their food feeding them. And of course, playing with them! my favorite part of my job is when it’s camp time for me and the dogs! I hang out with them in a playroom and we have so much fun that they’re so tired by the end of the day! I have a large, fenced yard with plenty of room for your pet to run around as much as they want! I also have a small cat and a pug.
