My boyfriend is allergic to cats, so I can’t get a cat either 😢 But I have plenty of friends and family who I have given pet care to. I can read animals pretty well and always prioritize their needs. “With both me and my boyfriend working in healthcare and having crazy schedules, we decided to get a puppy. Then our work schedules got flipped and we were panicking on what to do with little man while we both had to work Christmas Eve and day and 12hr shifts. Then came a Christmas miracle, Kaitlyn and her amazing family watched over little Apollo. I was so nervous as this was my first time using Rover and I was unsure about the legitimacy, but Kaitlyn had great reviews and went above and beyond to make Apollo feel welcomed in her home and. My Fiancé & I currently have 3 Cats (they love dogs- but if any issues - can be kept separate in their cat room to create a more comfortable stay for any pet that doesn’t like cats), between me & my partner- someone is always home to give attention to & play with pets. The only times someone isn’t home is when we’re grocery shopping or at an appointment. We have the rail trail right in our backyard that goes for miles- it’s a great trail to take dog walks on! We usually do that or use tie outs or the dogs leashes in our yard since we don’t have a fenced in yard, but your pets are never left unattended on the tie-outs, someone will be outside with them at all times

About: For a year, I walked my neighbor's Cavalier King Charles spaniel while she was recovering from a hip injury, until she could walk better. She and her daughter greatly appreciated my help and have said to me that their dog Cooper has been so much happier ever since he met me. I am a college student that goes to school 5 days a week from 7am to 2 pm. I can do early morning walks before 7am since I am a morning person, and I can do walks or come over after class. I am free on most weekends. I am free most of the time in the summer from June to August. I cannot bring pets into my home since I have two cats that are not very pet-friendly. About: I’ve had my own animals, both cats and dogs (mainly cats) since I was 6 years old. I’ve had to administer insulin before to my diabetic cat that has since passed. My experience with dogs are mainly of the bigger size (I had a pitbull/boxer mix and a pure bred chow chow). I’m currently working as a Direct Support Professional overnights 9pm-9am Thursday through Saturday (technically Sunday 9am). So I’m pretty open for picking up last minute gigs if needed. I have to give my own cat her medication each morning and night, however that is my only schedule perimeter. I am available most days of the week and weekend except for a select couple weekends this summer. My availability ends mid August. I care for the animals I am in charge of with acute attention. These pets are peoples loved ones, their furry children, and I don’t take that lightly. They deserve love, attention, engagement, and a safe environment for them to succeed in.

About: I have had dogs all of my life, as many as 3 at a time and they've always been part of the family. I have experience with dogs of all sizes. Even when I've had a fenced in yard I still walk my dogs daily, just for the engagement. I love getting involved in dog sports and dog training and will play fun games with your pets. I work from home most days so your dogs will have lots of attention and lots of love. On days that I am in office, I am still available mid day for walks, feeding, etc. My dog eats 2x per day so I'm always home at breakfast and dinner times. I treat dogs in my home like part of the family. You can expect daily exercise, some light training if desired, and lots of love, I can accommodate special diets. i do have my own dog in the house so supervised play is possible for the right dog, but I am also experienced with keeping reactive or introverted dogs separated. My first job was as an Animal Care Technician with the Humane Society, and I later worked at a military veterinary clinic for more than five years. About: I have years of experience with many different types of dogs. I watch dogs on a regular basis. For younger dogs I can offer a mountain hikes and for older dogs I can walk them on boardwalk trails that are easy on the joints, yet give the dog the sense of walking in the woods. I don't mind larger dogs at all. I also am willing to cook food for dogs. I very much enjoy the company of dogs and find that when they are well fed and exercised they are really pleasant to be around. Please give me honest description of your dog so I can plan His/Her visit accordingly. My house is set back (1000 feet) from a country road . I can pick up dogs in NYC , Great Barrington , Hudson, or Albany for a fee. I have watched many dogs over the years. Usually I try to walk them as much as possible. I feed them well , but make them follow the sit command before being fed and multiple times a day. All dogs have to be on a slip proof leash when outside or dropped off. Dogs often don't behave as they do at home . Once off a leash it can be very difficult to recapture a dog. In the house I don't crate dogs . We can only watch a few dogs at once. If your dog is very difficult let me know in advanced. Also Corgies get 10% off.
