About: I’ve been taking care of animals my whole life. I worked at a dog hotel, where I took care of almost 30 dogs at a time. I know a lot about all different ages and breeds. I’ve trained a few dogs as well! I also have bathed and trimmed nails. Animals are my passion and I would absolutely love to help make sure yours is taken care of! I’m a stay at home mom so other than a few errands here and there I’ll be home all day taking care of your pup! I have a large yard that isn’t fenced but I love taking walks rain or shine and I have a long leash to make sure the pups stay safe. I have 2 dog who absolutely loves other dogs they will make sure your dog gets exercise but if needed I’m more than comfortable making sure your pup has a quiet space I do require a crate to come with your pup. They were mostly senior and unwanted animals, which is where my heart is. I am unemployed right now, looking for remote work . So I am home all day. I have the time to let your pup out as many times as he/she wants. If they are a little dog I will be right by their side. I am up 6a - 9p. I have 3 senior cats that sleep up high most of the day, so your pup needs to be okay with cats. All pups sleep with me in my king size bed (if they want to). I have a dog bed next to me in my office or a couch in front of a large front window. I have locked screen security doors in case your pup likes to sniff the air. Central AC (I like it cool) and heating. I have many balls and treats (if allowed) and would love to throw the ball a bit. Back yard is not huge but sufficient. All my dogs have passed and I am missing a dog so much but cant commit right now. So let me love on your pup!

I am very familiar with both cats and dogs and I am happy to hang out with your pet when you cannot be there for them. I am taking a gap year from school so my schedule is fairly flexible. As long as there are set times that are clear I can make it work. Depending on whether you have cats or dogs will change the way I care for your pet in your home. With dogs, there will be more going in and out with walks and with cats I will stay in the home to make sure everything is up to your standards.

About: For nearly 20years I’ve been caring for animals of all types. I have experience with Dogs, Cats, Rodents, Reptiles, and just about everything in between. Family, Friends, Neighbors, Co-Workers and Clients have relied on me to care for their furry family members & I’ve had furry family members of my own my whole life. I have worked with all ages and sizes, and am comfortable with pets with disabilities or medical needs. For the past 16years I’ve cared for people with disabilities as a Direct Support Professional. I am currently doing that as a part-time night shift, so I am available most days and eves, during the week and on weekends! I have loved many forms of my own pets and understand the importance of safety and trust that comes with caring for another’s loved one. I currently plan to do pet walking, play dates, and sitting in your home. May consider overnight stays. May consider boarding on case by case basis. Always open for requests, and again, will consider on a case by case basis.

In your home, I can play with your dog with their toys and if you have a yard, we can play fetch and lay out in the sun. About: I am just starting to my fourth career, playing with your companion. I recently retired from teaching sustainable development at UAlbany. I now spend my days outside with hairy friend Herman. I picked up my first stray, Bandit, at 9. I have had a at least one dog since then, I am now 63. All from shelters or strays. I also did doggie foster care too. Known to be gentle and friend of the furry ones. I start each day with a morning meander across the 25 acres on a dead end road. Your companion will be well exercised, loved and cared for as long as they get along with my 14 year old hairy friend Herman, who lets cats eat from his dishes. He runs the place when it comes to house rules. He does not have viscous bone in his body. After three careers and global travel I am recently retired. My days are spent gardening, walking, sitting on the porch, listening to music, etc. I am rarely gone more than a few hours as Herman, my four legged friend, needs special care at 14 years old. I am typically up before dawn, no dog or alarm necessary. My day typically begins with me waking predawn and greeting the new day with my hound Herman on the 25 acres we cohabitate. Most is abandoned agriculture returning to forest for 35 plus years that is bisected by a small babbling brook. Breakfast is then served before returning outside. In climate weather I am outside more than 70% of my day outside. At 14 he chooses to stay in sometimes. Your companion will be free to make their own choice too. My life ambition is to nurture life. I have cared for pets since I was born as my family had cats. There is a fenced area that includes four shaded area. There will be plenty of water, including a baby pool for play as well as sprinklers. This area is shares two fences lines with my garden, has direct access to a walk out basement, and is fully visible from my porch. The dogs will have near 24/7 personal attention and care. I live sustainably. There are no chemicals in my lawn or garden. I have an enclosed porch that in the summer is open air, but no steps to escape. Only with your permission would I walk a guest off leash. Before walking them off leash I will need feel 100% confident they respond to command when other distractions are present. Again with your permission I would take your friend to a fenced in dog park visit as a trial run. Herman, my housemate, is a happy healthy 14 year old he is my best reference. He also has final word on all guest of all species. About an 1/2 acre is fenced with direct access from the house through the basement door. It includes shaded doggie lounges, a baby pool in the summer, toys galore, and lots of attention as the space is adjacent to my garden and the covered porch. It has the capacity to be divided if unruly dog needs to be isolated or there are little ones that just need time away from the bigger ones. Indoors, dogs are free to roam in the basement and first floor. If they are cage trained I can accommodate that. The two beds are off limits. To prevent misunderstanding with bed loving dogs I will keep my guest room. Both the porch and the living room couches are fine. Little ones may use chairs too. The house is really set up for Herman’s comfort and safety. The 32x10 covered front porch is a favorite of Herman and all his visiting friends. Your hairy friend will be delighted by this feature too. One more thing, the hardwood floors are currently covered in rubber “yoga mats” as Herman can not cope with slippery floors. There are also many large dog beds that Herman is happy to share. Opps, where are our manners; welcome to our slice of Paradise!😊
