About: When I was a little girl, I read the warrior cat series and fell in love with cats. I decided I had to have one. It took me over two years to convince my parents, but once I got my first (a five year that had been abandoned at the shelter on Christmas) I was hooked. I love every cat, not just my own. Eventually even the most aloof, unfriendly, feral old curmudgeon of a kitty has my respect. I will never force a cat that doesn't want to be bothered to give me attention. That said, I'm very good at doing towel burritos around them if they do need to get a nail trimming or insulin injection. I love to play with them and find new ways to give them enrichment. I really believe cats deserve the attention and commitment dogs do.
About: I grew up on a dairy farm with all sorts of animals around. I have had many dogs, cats, parrots, chickens, rabbits, rats, and horses over the years. I have a degree in Equestrian Science and have taken care of animals my entire adult life. I have always been an avid hiker as well and love to take the pups on walks around the area. I currently own 3 dogs, a parrot, and 2 chickens and will give your animals the same love and attention that I give my own! About: I have lived with dogs my entire life and I had helped with the puppy stage for two dogs in the last 5 years. My family got a German Shepherd puppy 5 years ago and then we decided he needed a friend so I helped with a new puppy who’s a Beagle just this past fall. I also have had recent jobs where responsibility was a necessity as I was a para educator with special needs kids over the summer. I’m currently a college student so my weekdays are pretty busy with classes and trying to keep up with school work but I could be free on the weekends depending. About: Originally from upstate NY, I spent time working as a professional veterinary assistant in Atlanta, GA while in school. In this role, I worked directly under a veterinarian to monitor, clean, and provide medical check-ups for dogs at local pet centers, while also providing care for other animals at a boarding and daycare resort. About: I have experience with many different dog breeds with different energy and health needs. I give all of the animals under my care the same treatment. I would take care of a super senior cat with the same dedication I would a golden retriever puppy. I'm not squeamish at all either, I'm comfortable dealing with body fluids and administering injection and medications. I have volunteered at multiple animal shelters so i've seen it all!
