About: I have experience working with dogs of all sizes, ages, and care needs both in a professional setting and as a pet owner! At my previous doggy daycare job, I walked, fed, administered medication to, and boarded with dogs. I also have cared for cats for 3 years and have some experience caring for birds (and absolutely love them! particularly cockatiels and conures) I currently am a full time student and have 2 days off during the work week thanks to online classes, so more time to care for pets! I live in a large apartment with no personal pets. Dogs would be crated when I’m in class (only a few hours a day, less than 6 usually) and free to roam when I’m home, with at least 2 relief walks a day. I have one female roommate who is also experienced in caring for dogs, but I will be the only one responsible for the dog’s care. Care at a client’s home would all depend on their personal preferences! I am comfortable sleeping over for any type of pet.

It's no trouble to give medication as needed (I can give pills without treats and I can give meds by dropper) and your pup would get at least 1/2 hour walking per day if they are up to it, on trails if you're ok with that. Please let me know beforehand if there are any exercise restrictions. I'll be happy to send pictures of your pup during their stay. I will house sit medium sized dogs and smaller. For boarding, my apartment is small and is better for dogs on the smaller side. I would board a dog 40lb or smaller, who is current on their shots and not sick at the time. Please feel free to ask if you have any special requirements for your dog that I haven't mentioned. I have plenty of time to play with pups and I can walk dogs during the day. If they stay with me, they will hang out while I work from home, and go on at least 2 walks for 20-30 minutes. I do daily pupdates, sending pictures so you can see what your furry baby is up to. If I house sit for you, I can watch a 2 medium/small sized dogs and/or cats. I will be mindful in your home and be a good guest. I can give pills or dropper medication to dogs if needed. If you board with me, pets are welcome on the furniture (because snuggles matter!). I live in a small apartment, best suited for chill or medium-energy pups—not zoomies. I am keeping the happiness and well-being of your pet in mind - we will play and walk 2-3 times per day.

About: I have lived with dogs my entire life and I had helped with the puppy stage for two dogs in the last 5 years. My family got a German Shepherd puppy 5 years ago and then we decided he needed a friend so I helped with a new puppy who’s a Beagle just this past fall. I also have had recent jobs where responsibility was a necessity as I was a para educator with special needs kids over the summer. I’m currently a college student so my weekdays are pretty busy with classes and trying to keep up with school work but I could be free on the weekends depending. About: Originally from upstate NY, I spent time working as a professional veterinary assistant in Atlanta, GA while in school.
