She continued to send me pics daily of them showing me how they were, which was very relieving! The very last day one of my dogs was experiencing loose poops (we think it was just from the heat) which she also had messaged me about prior to pick up . My dog has an accident in her house which I felt terrible about but she was so easy going and sweet about it which was really nice , since I felt so bad! I would take my dogs back to her in a heartbeat! They loved their stay with her and we enjoyed our vacation without worrying about our doggies! She is also very reasonable! I would recommend her 100%!”

“Dan and his family were excellent dog sitters for our pup who stayed with them for 3 nights. She is 7 months old and this was our first time leaving her with anyone so I was very nervous. We did a meet and greet and Dan and his family made us feel comfortable right away. During her stay, he was very responsive to texts and gave multiple updates about what they did and even sent pics! They have a nice background where our girl was able to run around and play and their house is very spacious and clean. They took her on multiple long walks during her stay and when we picked her up on Sunday and brought her home I could not believe how exhausted she was! She’s a puppy with lots of energy so to see her passed out means she must’ve had a great time getting lots of attention and exercise! I definitely would not hesitate to have Dan dog sit again for us and I’m grateful to know I now have someone that she & I both trust & feel comfortable with. About: I have take care of dogs and cats since I can remember. I’ve always had family pets that I looked after. Recently I started to pet sit professionally and have looked after pets with all manners of personalities and needs. I am currently working full time with a hybrid schedule. Monday through Wednesday in the office and Thursday through Friday remote. I am free every weekend and anytime after 5pm. Because each pet parent is unique and has their own ways to raise and care for their pets I strictly adhere to their rules and guidelines. I have a not very social, insulin dependent diabetic baby so, Nick had a mini challenge in front of him accepting. He came over the next evening for a meet and greet and run through on such short notice and everything. Luckily, Xavier the cat (and his 2 brothers) mostly cooperated, but Nick was ready to squeeze under the bed and in the closet to get trouble his insulin. About: I have raised two dogs (one large bread and one small bread) both from puppy to 16 & 17yrs old. I have had three cats (one still residing with me). Currently I dog sit two fur babies since 2020. In a week I am losing one of my buddies due to his parents relocating. I am already missing him and am hoping to make some new walking and cuddling partners. I work part time on weekends but can sit with advanced notice. Monday til Wednesday I am available for anytime on shorter notice. When I have your furry sweetheart I do not leave them by themselves at all,so I like to schedule when there is nothing to conflict with the time I have them. When in my house they have no restrictions from me, only what the parent wants. I have an outside bathroom area on leash for quick bathroom trips. I like to go for at least one or two long walks per day, weather permitting and your dogs abilities. I live in a walkable neighborhood and close to parks. When at your house I will follow whatever routine your partner is used to.

She was so welcoming and understanding of my not completely house trained pup, and she's almost like a trainer as well as sitter. I tend to stick to the instructions provided as to keep a normal routine for your pet. For a first time visit, I will get aquainted with your pet and offer a treat if allowed. I will send photos of your pet when I arrive and leave to offer some peace of mind. For walks, I will take your dog on a stroll around the neighborhood so they can let out some energy and use the restroom, followed by a treat after returning home. Drop-ins are similar where the pet will be taken outside for the restroom if needed and have some playtime to let out some energy. For pet sitting jobs, I tend to ask more questions about your pet to get a better understanding of their needs as well as anything else that will need taken care of such as collecting the mail, or watering plants. No matter the species, each visit will include playing, treats, and lots of pets! When entering or leaving your home, I ensure that the key is placed in the correct spot (to prevent lockouts!) after locking to keep your pet and home safe.

I have experience with both puppies/kittens as well as senior pets and I love dogs of all breeds and sizes! I’ve been pet sitting for others through friends and family for about 3 years since I started college and thought I’d give Rover a try! I’m currently working part-time so I have plenty of extra time to care for your pet! I am available mornings, nights, and weekends. Overnight care would need an advanced notice. My goal is to customize my care to fit your needs, wants, and requests. I know leaving your furry friends at home is never easy so I try my best to make that process as comfortable as possible for both pet and owner. About: My name is Karlyn. I started working in pet care in 2018 at a pet hotel and doggy daycare. I joined Rover in 2019, and I worked at another dog boarding facility/daycare from 2023-2025. I have extensive training in how to properly care for your dogs (and cats!) I have experience with dogs of all ages, breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I have three rescue dogs; a 12 year old Papillon named Archie, a 2 year old Papillon named Zoloft, and a 6 year old Maltipoo named Toaster! Although I absolutely adore all dogs, small dogs will always hold a special place in my heart. A little more about me: I am 31 years old and I am an on-set prop master in television/film. I am located in Cheektowaga, but I have a car so I don’t mind traveling a few extra miles! I work freelance so I have an abundance of free time between films! I have no other responsibilities when I’m off set, so I can focus all of my energy on your furry friend! I do everything in my power to make each pet feel comfortable and loved. I also spend a lot of time exercising and mentally stimulating each pet.

The very last day one of my dogs was experiencing loose poops (we think it was just from the heat) which she also had messaged me about prior to pick up . My dog has an accident in her house which I felt terrible about but she was so easy going and sweet about it which was really nice , since I felt so bad! I would take my dogs back to her in a heartbeat! They loved their stay with her and we enjoyed our vacation without worrying about our doggies! She is also very reasonable! About: I’ve always had dogs and cats my whole life. I’ve watched friends’ pets in the past to help them out. I’ve boarded and walked on multiple occasions. I work during the day M-F. During the summer my two very responsible 19 and 20 year olds are home to help out and play with the animals as well. I’m looking at this as a learning opportunity in responsibility for them. I have a small yard and live in a nice neighborhood that is good for walking. I have a dog named Westley who is 3 1/2 and a cat, Daisy, that is 6. Both have been around both dogs and cats. Daisy generally will hide if she’s scared. Westley loves to play.
