About: I have been around pets all my life. When I was younger, I had dogs and cats in the house and it was my responsibility to take care of them. Now we have a 4 year old beagle mix and 2 parakeets. We are a pet loving family. My 12 year old daughter has inherited the love for pets and wants to be a zookeeper when she grows up. We were staying out on Long Island, and had event tickets each day in the city, so we needed flexible doggie day care hours to accommodate our needs. We felt so very blessed to find Sarah! She welcomed Violet into her home and treated her like family. She is very well equipped to care for any pets and has plenty of equipment and facilities thoughtfully laid out in her home and yard. In our home, pets are cared for in a calm, safe environment. We live on the second floor of a house in a suburban neighborhood with sidewalks, which allows for safe, structured walks. While we don’t have direct yard access, we make sure dogs get regular walks, exercise, and attention. I also have a senior cat who is naturally shy and takes time to warm up, so I’m very understanding of pets who may be anxious or need a slower, more gentle approach. In a client’s home, I focus on maintaining your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or quiet time. “We left our basset hound with Krissy and her family for a few days while we had to go out of town. The entire time he was there I felt a sense of ease that I had never felt in the past with other pet sitters. Krissy stayed in constant communication with me and was super flexible with our dog’s needs. He doesn’t like to sleep alone and she even slept on the couch with him to ease his anxiety!! She followed every instruction I gave and watched him the entire time he was outside playing with her dogs. At the end of his visit, Krissy was so kind and gave us a little thank you treat and even cleaned our dog’s bowls!! I have nothing but amazing things to say about her and will definitely use her again!!”
“Vanessa and her family did a wonderful job taking care of my very special pittie. My girl has bad separation anxiety and anxiety in general. She is on medication to help because of how debilitating it is. After a small adjustment, I could see that Kenzie was looking happy and relaxed in the photos Vanessa sent. Vanessa was communicative and followed my instructions, I came home to a happy pup! It felt great knowing that my dog was in great hands and hope to use Vanessa again!”

She and her family (two young children who will entertain your dog endlessly) will provide a loving environment with lots of play and attention. I boarded my 7 year old pit mix for several days and he felt right at home immediately. Tina was great sharing photos and videos of Lincoln playing in the fenced in back and taking lots of walks (I think he thought twice about coming back home :)). So happy I found her.”
