About: Hi I'm Ally! I grew up surrounded by dogs and my love for them has only grown over the years! I currently have two at home, Luna, a 10-year-old rescue terrier mix, and Tobi, a 6-year-old Pembroke Welsh corgi. Altogether my extended family includes 6 dogs, 2 cats, and a few chickens. (You should see our house at Christmas!) I have lots of experience with both small and large dogs but I love all shapes and sizes. Playtime is a big deal at my house, but rest and relaxation are a must too. Cuddling is my absolute favorite thing! I love helping others, especially when they're dogs. I found Rover through my sister and sister-in-law, who have watched dogs themselves, so I've learned the ropes through their experiences. I'm currently working part-time and heading back to school soon. My schedule may shift once the semester starts, but I'll keep my calendar updated! As of right now my schedule is pretty open and I can provide care all weekdays, but weekends are a little tougher (but if really needed I can always try to move things around). My top priority is making sure you and your pets know they're in safe, loving hands. Bathroom breaks, meals, fresh water, and plenty of cuddles are always part of the routine. I am a college student and have a completely free schedule over the summer. I can come on same day notice and can stay over night. I can’t offer my home for boarding but I can stay over at your house and am responsible and have lived alone and can clean do laundry and other tasks to keep the home clean for when you return. About: Hello, I’m Hailey! I’m currently earning my post graduate hours as a mental health counselor. The field can be pretty heavy and demanding, so doing things that bring genuine joy and rejuvenate you is so important. I love animals and I love spending time outside, so walking dogs is like the best of both worlds. It gives me the opportunity to be present, grounded, and be involved in my community. It is also rough out here being pre licensed, so anything extra helps. I’ve owned dogs all of life; I’ve had 6 dachshunds this far, so I have experience with dogs of all ages. Additionally, I’ve also been dog sitting for my relatives throughout the years. While my dogs are teenie tiny, I’ve walked medium and larger dogs before. Breed experience is as follows: dachshunds, Irish terrier, border collies, a husky, and a mastiff. Behaviors I’ve dealt with include anxiety, reactivity, and resource guarding. My most recent edition to my family guards and is very much a “my way or the highway” kind of dog. That being said, I’ve done a lot of research on dog behaviors and try to be mindful of their needs and body language. I have a background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and learned a lot about conditioning and reinforcement in my years of education. I’m in no way a dog trainer, but I know when to reward desired behaviors and when not to reward. I prefer to stick to dog walking since my schedule outside of Rover is pretty demanding. I’d be open to providing services on Thursdays and Sundays :) I will ensure that any gates are closed and that I keep a watchful eye on your pet when they’re in your backyard. Please let me know if there are any areas that are off limits or if they are reactive to sounds/neighbors/rodents. I’m very careful with my own dogs and will give the same respect and care towards your pets.

About: Hi I'm Ally! I grew up surrounded by dogs and my love for them has only grown over the years! I currently have two at home, Luna, a 10-year-old rescue terrier mix, and Tobi, a 6-year-old Pembroke Welsh corgi. Altogether my extended family includes 6 dogs, 2 cats, and a few chickens. (You should see our house at Christmas!) I have lots of experience with both small and large dogs but I love all shapes and sizes. Playtime is a big deal at my house, but rest and relaxation are a must too. Cuddling is my absolute favorite thing! I love helping others, especially when they're dogs. I found Rover through my sister and sister-in-law, who have watched dogs themselves, so I've learned the ropes through their experiences. I'm currently working part-time and heading back to school soon. My schedule may shift once the semester starts, but I'll keep my calendar updated! As of right now my schedule is pretty open and I can provide care all weekdays, but weekends are a little tougher (but if really needed I can always try to move things around). My top priority is making sure you and your pets know they're in safe, loving hands. Bathroom breaks, meals, fresh water, and plenty of cuddles are always part of the routine. And if you're comfortable with it, my dog Tobi loves meeting new friends so we can always swing by for some playtime!

About: I’ve been around dogs for basically my whole life and I’ve always loved animals. I’ve been taking care of my own pets- walking, feeding, bathing, training, etc- for as long as I can remember. More recently I’ve taken care of friends pets while their owners are away- including dogs, cats, and a bunny. In these instances I was responsible for checking in on the pets a few times a day to feed them, let them outside, refill water, and give them lots of love and attention. I have also volunteered to dog walk at a few local shelters. I’m currently home from college for the summer and I have a lot of free time. I have a few short trips that are blocked out on my calendar and should be available otherwise. When walking dogs I try to always be aware of my surroundings and be on the lookout for cars, other dogs, or wild animals. My own dog can be a bit sneaky and is a big chewer so I know how important it is to be vigilant when watching dogs. I’ve also had a reactive dog in the past so I’m confident in my abilities to distract and remove a dog from a hostile situation. I’m always interested in learning more about proper pet care and have spent time researching pet safe foods and activities for my own pets. My goal is always to give a pet the best care possible.

She also kept Rocky separate from her dogs due to him not being used to having to share space with other pups which I appreciated. “My Scrappy (who is a 2 year old Pomeranian/ Poodle Mix male) stayed with Maria, Eric, and Penny (their fur baby girl) for 12 days. Scrappy and Penny had a meet and greet prior to booking. They hit it off. They were like long lost loves. Scrappy is one to be pretty scrappy at times, so I had to check the fence line because he likes to try to dig. They have a very secure backyard that made me feel comfortable to leave him there too. Maria said she would be out there with them, which made me feel better. But the fence was very secure anyway. Maria sent me photos and videos daily of Scrappy and Penny playing in the snowy backyard, napping together, and enjoying each other’s company. Scrappy seemed very happy and content staying with the family. Unfortunately, Scrappy had to say farewell to Penny for now. When I picked him up there was another fur friend there too, who was an elderly regular. He seemed like a sweetheart too. It was nice to see Scrappy had so many few friends. Maria’s sending us pictures and videos made me smile while we were away. It made me feel like he was doing well and he was happy and it provided me with a great sense of comfort to know he was being well taken care of. I would recommend Maria and her family for pet sitting. Maria herself was very nice and welcoming to me and my family. Eric seemed very pleasant and sweet and Penny was a beautiful and lovable dog, whom I wanted to bring home with us. Lol. Glad we picked them for Scrappy. Thank you Maria, Eric and Penny!!!
