“John was great from the start! I inquired about using him as a last minute weekend sitter. I was in full panic mode because our usual sitter was unavailable due to emergency. John arranged a meet and greet several hours later where he and our dog took to each other instantly. His house is clean and accommodating for a pup, or more! His fenced in backyard is great and the neighborhood he is in is quiet and safe. The very next morning is when we needed him for, so our dog was dropped off bright and early. I got a couple updates a day via messages and every message included at least 3-4 photos and videos. From the start you could tell he was attentive based on the questions he was asking me. We’ve never used Rover before and Luna has never stayed with anyone other than a few family members so it was a first for all of us. We would 10/10 use John again and we hope this review helps others feel at ease with his services!! :)”

“Where do I even begin? Heidi and her family were life savers. I had a different host that I had booked well over a month before my trip, and on the day of drop off I could not get a hold of her. I was in pure panic mode, and I found Heidi. She lives even closer to my home so that was another bonus. I got all the pictures and updates constantly. She treated my fur baby as if she were her own. She gave my girl a homemade pup cup, sweet potato and rice on her food, and all the snuggles. About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life as my family have always owned dogs along with the occasional neighbor going on vacation. I love to go on good long walks with my dogs and I would love to do the same with other pets! My schedule is different from day to day depending on my classes. I have more free time on the weekends but also have several hour break between classes during the week. My house has a big backyard along with walking trails in forested area near by that is great on hot days. I don’t normally like walking next to roads so my favorite is to find secluded trails.

About: I’ve been the primary care taker of my dog. I have also dog sat multiple times for 4 different dogs, three of which are in the same household. I’m currently working part-time at tacobell, and I’m still in high-school, but for the summer I am mainly working from around 930/10 to about 5/530, this will definitely change when school starts back up though! About: Common courtesy and communication is paramount. **Willing to travel up to an hour away. Just because Rover says you are outside my service area it does not always mean you are. In the event of an emergency and I could not get a hold of the human, puppies have no pockets to hold a card, the vet required me to pay. I hope to again one day have my own dogs. Until then I will love YOUR pet. **I DO NOT board animals at my home. Only repeat clients would MAYBE be possible for a very short amount of time.** Clients pets have included many breeds, species for days, weeks. Many Golden Retrievers, Doodles, mixes aka Heinz57s, Old English Sheep dog, lots of kitties, a chameleon, turtles, a bearded dragon, a small bird, fish, Rottweilers, a very challenging but lovable English Bulldog and Huskies one of which was very reactive. Oh and a LOT of house plants! PLEASE NOTE: I am deathly allergic to horses which I am very sad about. Any type of animal requiring LARGE amounts of hay would also be a problem i.e, goats, cows, alpacas I am sorry to say. Small rodent animals requiring hay for food or bedding has not been a big deal. My personnel dogs were very public dogs, parks, events etc. With the ever present fact in mind that as good as my animal was it is still an animal. Never purposely putting them in a situation to be loose (unless at home or a fenced park) or get into anything that could harm them. Read quite a few books/manuals by military working dog trainers in hopes of training a service oriented Rottie. Came very close to passing the Good Citizen certification but my dogs never liked the “stay” part when I had to walk away with my back turned. They just had to be next to me. So close. PLEASE NOTE: I have my preferences set to NOT to show any photos of YOUR pet publicly. I would ask permission first to share. Photos only NEVER infomation of course. My schedule allows me to be available to be in YOUR HOME, with your pets all day/night, unless noted ahead of time and of course trips to the store. I have many types of animals that insist on sleeping in bed just like they do when their people are home which in fine by me. Just take some Benadryl and snuggle on in. I try to stick closely to how the home runs normally so the pets do not have any surprises that can make them anxious. Sleep, food, walks, play time etc. I supervise dogs in their own yard fenced or not. I am very organized and like an outlined idea of their schedule to be written down for me to follow as closely as YOU would.

About: Hi! I’m Ella! My passion is anything animals, and it always has been! I frequently volunteer and work with local shelters and rescues, I also have worked as veterinary assistant for 2 years so I have a lot of experience with administering medications and emergencies! I currently have 3 dogs of my own, all are under 35 pounds but get along nicely with other pets. If your pet is staying at my home and really doesn’t like other pets, I could definitely accommodate keeping them separated! I treat my dogs and others as my babies, I’m always letting them out whenever necessary, and making sure to administer any medication properly and on time, I let my personal pets on furniture and beds, but understand if you have rules regarding that and I will be sure to follow those. I have boarded friends dogs at my home before for the past two years, and have cared for both dogs and cats in others homes. I live farther off the road on 31 acres, we have a super large yard, and lots of wooded trails! If I am staying in your home overnights I will need to currently bring along my little senior dog, as he requires medication and supervision from me. He is very well behaved, and is mostly just in my arms being carried the whole time. I’m very flexible, so if you have any questions at all, be sure to reach out to me! I’m currently home full time, so your furbaby will never be left alone and have supervision 24/7! Also, if your pet has a schedule that they’re used, please do let me know so I can continue that! I prefer to take pups out on a leash as my yard is not fenced, however if you feel that your pup would do okay off leash, I can let them off for periods of time. I of course will always be right there with them and supervising! I also have a very large home, so there is plenty of room to play inside as well!

I work early in the mornings I work 4 AM to 12 afternoon. I’m able to be there for the afternoon afternoons and nights for your animal and up the road if anything happens. About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life as my family have always owned dogs along with the occasional neighbor going on vacation. I love to go on good long walks with my dogs and I would love to do the same with other pets! My schedule is different from day to day depending on my classes. I have more free time on the weekends but also have several hour break between classes during the week. My house has a big backyard along with walking trails in forested area near by that is great on hot days. I don’t normally like walking next to roads so my favorite is to find secluded trails.

About: As a kid I was taught responsibility by caring for our horses, cats, dogs, birds, fish and guinea pigs. I’ve had pets all my life! My mom’s cat almost died of a bacterial infection in her mouth and I’ve helped administer antibiotics to her until she got better. I had a cat who had kidney disease and needed to have IV fluids every week. My other cat had to be mouth fed with a syringe as well as monitored via thermometer up his butt. I have house and pet sit for friends and family that have multiple pets, most recently for a friend that had 6 dogs of all sizes! I am an active individual so walking will be a treat for them and me! :) I have given dogs and cats baths and also cared for dogs in heat. Disclaimer: If your pet experiences an accident during a visit that requires cleaning, there will be an extra charge. (unless this is discussed ahead of time). Services are based upon the time frame given. Any services that add additional time to the booking will cause the booking fee to be increased for that visit at a prorated amount. I have a very open and wide range of availability and I am available most days, including weekends and holidays as I rarely ever go out of town. It would be great to develop some long term relationships with new pets and their owners! Repeats are always great but not expected. I will do what I can to work with your schedule and the needs of you and your fur child. I will do my best to maintain consistency and high-level care when it comes to your pet. Each pet is different and I try to get to know each one individually in order to gain their trust and yours and provide the best care possible. Often times, I will send pictures to the pet owner, especially if it is a new client or a pet owner is out of town for an extended amount of time. I am easily reachable and try to communicate clearly about wants, needs, and scheduling. I prefer to do a meet and greet prior to providing a service, but it is not mandatory, especially for last minute bookings! In the event that an in person meet and greet isn't possible, a virtual meet and greet is also an option for me to be able to view the pet, where their food is kept, the layout of the house etc.
About: I’m a life long animal lover who would love to take care of your pets! My main priority is the happiness and safety of your animals. I believe pets are family and deserve the best care possible. I am open to dog walking, drop in visits as well as overnights. I have years of experience walking and caring for dogs and I’m the go-to person for my family in friends when they need a sitter. I work flexible hours and have mostly day time available with the possibility of later check ins in the evening. With a little more notice I’m available for overnight stays. About: My house has been full of pets for as long as I can remember. I grew up with three cats of my own, both indoor and outdoor, as well as several family members dogs, including Cocker Spaniels and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I was also fortunate enough to spend time around neighborhood dogs that became a big part of my childhood. Over the years, my family has cared for many cats. We currently have six indoor cats ranging in age from nine years to six months. Every one of them was taken in as a stray when they were less than a month old, and we raised them ourselves. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have spend years helping neighbors with their dogs. I have regularly babysat, boarded, and walked dogs of various breeds, including a Goldendoodle and a Jack Russell Terrier. Being surrounded by so many different animals has taught me how to adapt my care to each pet's individual needs. Pets have always been an important part of my life, and the experience I have gained caring for them has given me a deep appreciation for the responsibility, patients, and companionship that come with animal care. I am home for college for the summer (June-August), so I have an extremely flexible schedule. I am available to help out at you and your pets convince. I have a secluded backyard along with a large, walkable neighborhood and fields and trails within walking distance. There are cats inside the house and dogs in neighboring yards. I am happy to provide your dog with its own, cat-free room if it's preferred.

“John was great from the start! I inquired about using him as a last minute weekend sitter. I was in full panic mode because our usual sitter was unavailable due to emergency. John arranged a meet and greet several hours later where he and our dog took to each other instantly. His house is clean and accommodating for a pup, or more! His fenced in backyard is great and the neighborhood he is in is quiet and safe. The very next morning is when we needed him for, so our dog was dropped off bright and early. I got a couple updates a day via messages and every message included at least 3-4 photos and videos. From the start you could tell he was attentive based on the questions he was asking me. We’ve never used Rover before and Luna has never stayed with anyone other than a few family members so it was a first for all of us. “Where do I even begin? Heidi and her family were life savers. I had a different host that I had booked well over a month before my trip, and on the day of drop off I could not get a hold of her. I was in pure panic mode, and I found Heidi. She lives even closer to my home so that was another bonus. I got all the pictures and updates constantly. She treated my fur baby as if she were her own. She gave my girl a homemade pup cup, sweet potato and rice on her food, and all the snuggles.
