She reduces anxieties naturally by listening carefully and observing astutely. Hygge had never been away or 'boarded' for pet sitting prior to my experience with Andrea. At all times she was communicative, caring and purposeful in her interactions with Hygge, who probably worried about being in a new home away from home for a few days on many levels. My transportation plans were delayed due to a severe storm that prevented my scheduled pick up, and Andrea was patient, reasonable and loving during my own stress about being stuck in NYC beyond my control for the pick up of my dog after traveling for a few days. She worked with me every step of the way, and the boarding experience was a total success even with transportation issues. Hygge returned home happy, healthy, well-nourished and satisfied with renewed confidence in his ability to work with another lovely family in our sweet community in a spirit of trust and sucess. My family got a German Shepherd puppy 5 years ago and then we decided he needed a friend so I helped with a new puppy who’s a Beagle just this past fall. I’m currently a college student so my weekdays are pretty busy with classes and trying to keep up with school work but I could be free on the weekends depending. My three years of experience at a dog daycare/boarding facility has taught me patience with all dogs. I can provide feeding, walking, medicating (have cared for diabetics) and can be a temporary companion for your baby if needed :) While I was in my undergrad I had the wonderful experience of fostering a pitty mix from my local spca for 3 months. When we got him he was extremely underweight and was having a hard time in the shelter. I nursed him back to the happy guy he was all along and he’s now in a happy loving home 🖤 I’m currently working part time and taking classes as I am in the process of completing a masters program. My family dog is a grazer so we just put some food out for the day and he’ll eat whenever. If your pups have scheduled meals I’m 100% able to work with it. If your pup is high energy and my schedule is open I’m available to play with them, find a park or take them for a walk to give them enrichment. For those with reactive or babies that have a hard time trusting strangers, I completely understand and can work with that as well!!

About: From overnight stays and walks to playtime and cuddles, family and friends have entrusted me with the care of their fur baby. Being able to work with cats and dogs on a daily basis as a veterinary assistant continues to help me accumulate various skills to work with animals of all temperaments and ages! About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life. I take care of my dog and other dogs that I get asked to do so I can do Monday- Sunday at any time of the day. I take care of my dog when my grandparents are away with my mom. When needed I feed my dog and give him water when he is out of water When I dog sit my aunts dog when her and her family are away. I feed him on the morning and let him out. Play with my aunts dog. Then feed him at night. I also play with him whenever I go let him back out. I stayed the night for a couple nights

She reduces anxieties naturally by listening carefully and observing astutely. Hygge had never been away or 'boarded' for pet sitting prior to my experience with Andrea. At all times she was communicative, caring and purposeful in her interactions with Hygge, who probably worried about being in a new home away from home for a few days on many levels. My transportation plans were delayed due to a severe storm that prevented my scheduled pick up, and Andrea was patient, reasonable and loving during my own stress about being stuck in NYC beyond my control for the pick up of my dog after traveling for a few days. She worked with me every step of the way, and the boarding experience was a total success even with transportation issues.
