I tried one night with John and Ellen and it seemed to go well so I booked again. Chica has stayed there for 3 nights and she seems to be doing so much better with her anxiety. Their place seems quiet and peaceful for her. She doesn’t come back scared. I only received photos on one day during her stay but she appeared to be doing well with the other dogs and looked content! It’s very hard to please a depressed dog but they seem to do so! I am definitely booking with John and Ellen again for a longer stay and know I won’t have to worry about Chica. Just hoping for more pictures next time! :)”

Our dogs are pretty easy but very attached to us, and one of them needs daily meds. Destiny clearly made them comfortable with her immediately, and they looked incredibly happy in all of the photos she sent daily. The dogs were happy to see us when we arrived but also clearly happy, comfortable & well-loved in Destiny’s home. We’d love to leave them with Destiny again!”

So whether you have a puppy with some aggression issues, a husky that needs a run, a diabetic cat, fish to be fed and admired, or an stinky old man dog that just needs to be sung to and told he's a good boy I am here to serve. I have two cats personally, they run the household and tell me what to do. They eat twice a day, get their boxes cleaned daily, and petted and played when they decide. Monday- Thursday I am available for pet visits from 10:30-2:30 and again from 5-9 pm Fridays - I am available from 10:30-1:00 for visits Weekends-vary During daycare hours I will always be in the home with your pet unless we are going on an outing together. Play, snacks, walks, songs, and naps will be provided daily. I do have two cats, who will probably stay out of the way, but cat friendly creatures are always preferred.

About: Ive been around dogs my whole life. I worked at dog daycares, was a kennel tech at Petland and have years of animal sitting experience including dogs, cats, horses, goats, chickens etc. I had a husky mix most recently for 8 years before she passed. ***dog must be okay with children*** I currently work evenings and am available most mornings/ days/ and late evening. Although I do not have a fully fenced in backyard, we do have a backyard, tons of parks around us, hiking trails and enclosed baseball fields. I allow doggos on my furniture and bed. I work evenings and typically 4-5 hour shifts. I usually take the dogs for a long walk or to the park prior to me going to work to make sure they’re tired/sleeping rather than bored while I’m away. I can also accommodate crating if needed. There’s a fenced in ball park down the street with plenty of side walks for walks. I allow animals on furniture and have plenty of blankets to keep them cozy.

About: I've had dogs my entire life from puppies to rescues! I've also been a grooming salon manager in Ithaca for 9 years. I've cared for many different breeds, ages, temperaments, and quirks all dogs have and I love them all the same. I have two dogs of my own Luke and Yoda. Luke is a 6 year old lab mix around 35 lbs. He is very loving and playful. Yoda is a 5 year old miniature fox terrier mix who has unlimited energy and is the sweetest snuggler. I am home all day with my baby and two dogs of my own so I can give the same care to some extra dogs! I treat every dog as if they are my own. I have lots of extra blankets to make sure they have there own space (i do recommend to bring some of there stuff like blankets, beds, and toys to make them more comfortable) and have extra room to separate them if they need to be alone. About: The last few years I've provided an array of services for dog sitting, walking, weekly stays and occasionally drop in visits. From Danes to Chihuahua's I'm certain I can give your pup the love, patience, care and energy (high or low depending on the pup) that they need to live happy, comfortable and confident lives. I've taken care of an array of animals since I was a kid from hamsters to dogs to little frogs! I currently have a 2.5 year old Australian Cattle Dog mix who I've worked with through several training classes. I'm happy to help and follow through with current trainings you are working with your pup on while I interact with them. I'm able to remove ticks and have a first aid kit always on had and a base medicinal understanding and can administer medication if needed. I'm also doggy and human first aid certified (American Red Cross). If your pup is spayed/neutered, vaccinated and well socialized (or needs a little nudge and isnt aggressive or reactive) I'd be happy to take them to a dog park with or without my pup Luna. Does your dog have a special diet? Bon appetit, I'll be sure to get them their right food at the right time! Senior dogs need love too, I'll be patient and we can take a nice and easy stroll or take a little car ride! Speaking of, I have room in my subaru for any transportation your pup may ever need (including a doggy seatbelt). Overall, I'm flexible and want to help you and your pup have a happy life! I am currently employed but my schedule is very inconsistent at this time so reach out for availability checks and I can work with you! I'm very flexible in my scheduling. Right now I do not have the capacity for boarding or keeping any dogs besides my own at my current residence. Here we have a large yard with room for our pups to run and their recall work has been going well. Dogs can be on the furniture minus the kitchen table! We also have a large basement with room to run there too. In your home, I follow your rules and will respect your privacy. Please inform me of any specific requirements in your home or anything I should be aware of. I will act professionally and respectfully, just like I would ask someone if they were entering my home. About: I’ve loved dogs since I saw my first one. Caring for animals is one of my favorite things to do. I want to make sure they are so comfortable, it’s like you never left. My partner Rebecca is, naturally, every animal’s best friend. She brings a calming vibe to the space that is hard to achieve for everybody. About: My 9 year-old black lab, Luna, and I are traveling around the East Coast (around NJ and PA at the moment) and house sitting while we find a new place to settle. I have worked as a dog trainer and groomer for 3 years. I also have my own business called “Heeling Dog Reiki”, which I can book outside of Rover. About: I have been taken care of pets since I was little i grew up with 10 dogs and 2 cats I was always had a passion for animals I have been animal sitting for a couple years now and I absolutely love it I do have a full time job Monday thru Friday 8-4:30 so I would have to do drop in until I get off work but the rest of the day I will be free I get to meet all the different pets and take care of them feed them take them for walks bathe them if needed anything the owner needs I do My clients have a fenced in yard so I just let them play outside or I will walk them I play with them throw the ball and stuff give them treats make sure they eat and drink
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 16. It started with watching my neighbors dogs! I have lots of experience with older dogs and puppies! I’m currently finishing out my Masters Therapy Program so have online classes, allowing me to be flexible and giving dogs attention whenever needed. Being home for the summer gives me the opportunity to give dogs the full attention and 1:1 time they need. I have such a passion for taking care of dogs that I will always put them first. I take care of dogs by giving them a nice long walk, playing with their dog toys with them, fetch, etc. I think physical activity is so important for dogs.

Our dogs are pretty easy but very attached to us, and one of them needs daily meds. Destiny clearly made them comfortable with her immediately, and they looked incredibly happy in all of the photos she sent daily. The dogs were happy to see us when we arrived but also clearly happy, comfortable & well-loved in Destiny’s home. We’d love to leave them with Destiny again!”

I have two cats personally, they run the household and tell me what to do. They eat twice a day, get their boxes cleaned daily, and petted and played when they decide. Monday- Thursday I am available for pet visits from 10:30-2:30 and again from 5-9 pm Fridays - I am available from 10:30-1:00 for visits Weekends-vary During daycare hours I will always be in the home with your pet unless we are going on an outing together. Play, snacks, walks, songs, and naps will be provided daily. I do have two cats, who will probably stay out of the way, but cat friendly creatures are always preferred.
