“Amy not only came through on very short notice, she was kind, professional and accommodating. Tango - who had only been sat by family members prior to this - immediately felt comfortable and welcome. He had a ball, was well cared for and even got a bath and nail trim for an extremely reasonable additional charge. Amy is close to the retreat we were on, which was part of the reason why we chose her, but I would seriously consider making the 2-hour trip to her if Tango needed sitting again, regardless of her proximity to where I was going.”

About: Animals have always had my heart. I provide one on one care because I understand that being away from home can be stressful for some dogs. My goal is to make every boarding experience feel safe, loving, and as seamless as possible. With many years of experience caring for dogs, I tailor my care to each pet's individual needs and routine. I work from home and create my own schedule, giving me the flexibility to provide plenty of attention, companionship, and personalized care throughout the day. I live in a townhouse in a quiet, friendly gated community with plenty of safe sidewalks and green space for enjoyable walks. I love taking pups on walks and spending time outdoors whenever their owners approve. If your dog uses wee wee pads, I'm happy to accommodate that as well. And if they're used to sleeping in bed with you, they're welcome to cuddle up with me too! I only care for one family's dog(s) at a time, allowing me to give your pet my full attention in a calm, low-stress environment. “We’ve used Alexis multiple times now, for day cares and boarding. She’s fantastic! The dogs always have a great time and are exhausted afterwards from running around and playing all day. One of our dogs just turned 15 and I’ve witnessed Alexis and her helper be very conscious and protective of her around the other more rambunctious dogs. She’s also super communicative and sweet, always responds to messages quickly, and sends photo updates. I am so happy that we found her!”
