“Gabriel is a great host for our dog George. He makes sure he is comfortable and gets some exercise also. I also appreciate Gabriel providing an update on how George is doing during his stay. Overall, I definitely recommend Gabriel to sit your pet.”

“Brett was awesome with my dog Scout. He was a great communicator and flexible with drop off time. Scout had a great time hanging with Brett at home watching sports and even went on two different hikes in the area. Scout came home exhausted and happy. Would definitely use Brett again !!”

“Patty and Randy provided an excellent boarding experience for our dog Cookie! We had no hesitations from the moment we dropped Cookie off and saw how excited she was to see Patty and Randy's dogs who she had met the week before for a meet and greet. During Cookie's stay we were so happy to receive videos and pictures which confirmed that she was having a great time. Patty also reached out during Cookie's stay to ask us some questions to ensure she understood Cookie's habits and needs. We are so happy to have found Patty and Randy to board Cookie and thank them, BellaMae, Bizu, and Bindi Lou for the time, attention, and fun play they provided Cookie to ensure she felt secure, relaxed, and happy during her visit. It is so appreciated!!”

“We were visiting Tahoe and needed a sitter last minute for our small Velcro dog for a day. Laura was amazing, our dog promptly claimed her lap as his place of leisure. She took our fur baby on multiple walks and kept us updated throughout the day with pictures and texts. I highly recommend her, she has a beautiful house, a lovely family and an adorably gentle dog.”

“Tim took such great care of our dog Jack and made sure to take him on lots of adventures. He was really good about sending multiple updates and pictures, which we loved! He was also really responsive and flexible when we had to pick up our dog 30 minutes late. Highly recommend!”

“Gina and Erik were amazing! I could tell right away they were very loving people and my dog would be comfortable there. They sent me pictures and an update daily which I really appreciated. Deuce, my dog didn't even want to leave when I came to pick him up! I know he had a great time and would highly recommend Gina and Erik! Thank you both so much!”

“Thank you for working so well with me and minco. Sorry we had to rush out, the kiddo and dog had my hands full. You were wonderful and hope I can rely on you in the future”

She was very accommodating with our last minute request and flexible with the drop off and pick up times. She had great communication, administered medicine and took Stacy on multiple walks and hikes. I would not hesitate to recommend or to rebook a dog care service with Teresa.”

“Boarded my frenchie with Stephanie while staying in Tahoe, and loved the experience. She took great care of my pup, got her lots of playtime with others, and went for a few walks. Highly recommend!”

“Jennifer and her boyfriend, Jack, were great hosts for our dog Brody while we were skiing in town for a couple days! They were both super nice and genuine, very accommodating with a last minute daycare request, and were flexible with our schedule which was super helpful! They both asked questions the drop off, sent us a ton of pictures throughout the day, and overall made us feel very comfortable with having our dog there with them! I would absolutely recommend and we will use them again when we are in the area!”

“Nicole was amazing. It was the first time we used the app and she was such a doll. So caring and sweet with our 5 month old puppy. She sent us picture updates which made us feel so at ease. The true testament of how great she was when we got him home, he was so calm and content which I think shows of how well he was looked after with her. About: I live in a private home with a large, fully fenced-in yard off of Ski Run Blvd with 4 female rescues. I have had and cared for dogs (large and small) as well as cats for 13 years and am loving, patient, and responsible. I love to get outside for runs down to the beach or to go hiking in the area, and try to bring at least one dog with me on every adventure. I have raised both puppies and cared for elderly dogs, including my own Golden Retriever Stewie who sadly passed away two years ago at the age of 12. I look forward to meeting and caring for your furry family members as well as I do my own! My schedule varies, but I keep it up to date in the app and can be flexible if anything comes up or if needs change. I have a fully fenced in, private backyard off of a quiet street that is perfect for lots of running around with my 3 dogs, who are incredibly friendly and get along with dogs of all ages and sizes (and are great at tiring out puppies!). My dogs are crate trained and usually are in their crates at night and when I am away for more than a couple hours, and I would be happy to do the same or whatever is preferred for yours.
About: I’ve grown up taking care of many different animals from baby deer to chickens. I’ve had many different breeds of dogs from an Akita to Great Pyrenees. Currently I have a male cat. I’m pretty flexible in my schedule and can visit during the week( I do have a child I have to pick up in the afternoon.) I can walk and play with dog or cat. As well as check the food & water. I’m pretty flexible with whatever may be needed for care.

“Brenna was amazing! We got great detailed updates and tons of photos. Our cat was very happy for all the attention and great care! Brenna will definitely be our first choice for when we go out of town”

“Alena was perfect. She was thoughtful, flexible with timing and our cat was happy when we got home. We have been on trips when you could tell they did not get attention when you returned, but not this trip. THANK YOU Alena! Highly recommend.”

About: My family has had cats as pets from before I was born. I have 2 cats myself. One is named Kk and the other is named Tommy, whom is special needs. He had a thrombosis that caused one of his legs to lose circulation. The vets answer for me was I needed to put him down. I cried for a whole weekend and then started wondering if there were other options. Using my psychic abilities I came up with amputation. When I asked if they could amputate his leg they immediately said yes! And now I have a 3 legged cat. I love him so much and have gone to the ends of the earth for all my pets. Kk is my fat princess. She is beautiful and so soft. She is my daughters emotional support animal but she has gone away to college so I got to keep her. She loves me so much, she stares into my soul and purs and drools on an everyday basis lol.
“Jaclyn is the best! She communicates very well and gives our kitties the love and attention they need while we are gone. We also have a special needs cat and she handles him perfectly. We would recommend Jaclyn to anybody and feel so lucky to be one of her clients!”

About: Greetings. I’ve had a best friend who was with me everyday for 15 years. I was with her from the beginning to the end. I am sensitive to the needs of our dogs and always very aware of our surroundings. I’m ultra aware of the cayotes up here and all their tricks. With the new smells and distractions for some dogs that are not from here I always feel safer to keep them on leash during our walks. I live alone in a quiet cabin on a quiet street, no traffic and no neighbors. Big fenced back yard and a small gated front porch. I know all the trails in Sierra track as well as the whole area. I’m very flexible and will take care of all the little things that are needed and the unexpected ones that pop up. I know how stressfull it can be traveling and then leaving your best friend with someone. I will communicate with you and make it easy and stress free. It’s a big adjustment not having my sweet girl Francis. I was so used to waking up and she was there, or coming home and she was sitting in my spot waiting for me. Honestly this is good for me having a dog around. It’s helping with this process I’m going through. I am very flexible and available almost anytime and on short notice if life happens. I know how that goes. I know the trails and areas to go that are safe and fun. Im an early riser, and I enjoy mornings walks when it’s nice and quiet with no traffic or crowds of people. I have no problem with taking the pup with me in the car to run a quick errand or even better a day trip somewhere. Some dogs love car rides with the window down and nose out. And some do not. It’s all optional, absolutely no problems leaving him or her at home while I’m out for a sec. I primarily work from home and would be with him/her almost all the time. My dog Francis was a little attached. Maybe loyal is a better word. I was very lucky with her and didn’t have to worry too much. But I learned to never ever let anything happen to her. Very aware of our environment. Cars, other dogs, cayotes, bees , bodies of water and all weather conditions, hot pavement and even to always avoid the drains/grates in the roads ect. I’m not disactred by my phone or anything else. I’ll only feed what the owner approves.

“Georgette's attention to detail was outstanding, the weather was a factor throughout her time taking care of our pets, but she made sure that if it was starting to rain, she came back to take our pup from the backyard and into the house. Her dedication and extra efforts were so very appreciated, will plan to use her services in the future for our next trip.”

About: I’ve had dogs of my own since I was less than 10 years old, and have had my current dog Sandy for about 6 years. I have a lot of experience with dogs of all kinds- puppies to seniors, healthy to serious health concerns, I’ve done it all! I am a work from home teacher, so even during the weekday I am home for the majority of the day. My dog Sandy and I usually spend the day playing in the backyard, relaxing on the couch, or playing with her toys. My work schedule is not demanding, and I have summers off, so I have all the time to spend with your pups. I live in a 2 story duplex with just myself, my 10 year old friendly dog Sandy, and my fiance Austin (who also loves dogs!). The backyard is fenced and is shared by the other family in the duplex. Sandy usually roams free in the home, but we can crate in the home if necessary.
“Tim T. is amazing! He got us out of a real bind. We were away from home for a wedding. We found out the day before the wedding that we could not leave our dogs in our hotel room. By some miracle, Tim happened to be available with less than a day notice. He picked up our dogs at the hotel. Usually one of our dogs takes a while to warm up to new people. We were nervous but Tim is some sort of dog whisperer! In no time at all, the dogs were in his car and off for a day of fun. They spent the day taking a drive, then a hike, and then relaxing in the lap of luxury at Tim's house. We got photos throughout the day and it was obvious that Tim was the dogs' new favorite person. We were able to enjoy the wedding stress free. Tim returned the dogs to us late at night. It couldn't have been easier. Our only regret is that we live too far away to make Tim our regular sitter. If he's available, don't hesitate! We'd give Tim more stars if we could!”

I live in a large home with a fenced in yard. I have plenty of space for overnight pets. Wirh a large yard and close to walking trails, your pup will have plenty of play time.
“Stephanie and her family are amazing! My family and I visited Lake Tahoe for the weekend and needed a sitter for our pup Snow, because we didn’t want to leave her back in our rental while we head out and do some activities. She was so responsive with many updates and pictures of my Snow! The next day, we needed to book again super last minute, and she welcomed Snow again on such short notice. Amazing service and amazing people. Definitely recommend!”

Not only was she extremely friendly and professional, but she also went above and beyond with treats and walks to the beach. About: I really enjoy spending time playing with animals and it helps me connect with them fast. Even the puppies, more energetic or a little naughty pets are no trouble for me, I stay patient and handle them with ease. So my work schedule is a part-time so I have planty of free time to take care of dogs and cats, which I absolutely love! I take care of dogs in their natural environment, their home, where they feel most comfortable and at ease while their owners are away :)

About: Hello! I’ve been regularly looking after dogs and cats for about 5 years, and I’ve had parrots most of my life, so I’m comfortable with birds too. I have a deep respect for the place I stay at - maintain necessary privacy and keep the house clean and tidy during my stay (check Airbnb reviews in the last photos). I work on creative projects from home - writing a book and doing online consulting and life coaching. I’m around plenty to keep your pet a company, play, engage, and follow your pet’s schedule. A note on overnight stays: I do require a separate bedroom to recharge. This is important for me to show up fully for your pet and maintain my energy and focus for my work the next day. If your pet used to sleep with a human and struggles with overnight separation, I may not be the best fit. I appreciate your understanding! Looking forward to meeting you and your furry friend 🙏🏻 I am an energy therapist and provide sessions online. I make my own schedule. Looking after a pet is an additional source of income for me, so I treat it equally as a job and make a proper time in my schedule to accommodate your pet’s needs. I only provide a service of looking after your pet at your property and do not take pets to my home. I will do so only in a case of an emergency.

“Tim did an incredible job taking care of my dog and cat! He truly is a dog whisperer. Dixie is shy and has never warmed up to anyone expect myself and close family but she loved Tim after just a few visits! Highly recommend him for all your pet walking and sitting. You won’t be disappointed!”

“Alena is fantastic! We were headed to Dry Tortugas Park in the Florida Keyes for the day and couldn't take our dog "JoJo" with us. The previous day she suggested a meet & greet (which I didn't even know was a "thing"). JoJo connected with her right away. And from the pictures she sent, JoJo is smiling and happy. I would definitely recommend her and would hire her again.”

About: I have had a pet sitting business since the age of 12 and am now 50. I love animals and am kind of a self proclaimed animal psychic. I can feel their emotions, wants and needs. I have even diagnosed sick pets before they had visited a vet to confirm my guesses. All this to say I am very in tune with animals as they are with me. I would be an excellent choice to take care of your fur-babies. Hi there I look forward to helping you and your animal family. I am currently working from home which allows me the flexibility to provide attentive care, companionship, and frequent potty breaks.I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I will do my best to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, a nd loved while you're away. I am happy to follow feeding schedules, administer basic medications if needed, provide regular exercise, and send updates and photos so you can have peace of mind. I believe pets are happiest when they can remain in their familiar environment and maintain their normal routines. When caring for pets in a client's home, I take the time to learn their feeding schedule, exercise needs, medications, favorite activities, and any special instructions. I treat every home with the same respect and care I would expect for my own and prioritize keeping pets safe, comfortable, and stress-free while their owners are away. I also provide regular updates and photos so pet parents can have peace of mind knowing their furry family members are happy and well cared for.
About: What I would say sets me apart from other walkers/sitters, is my care and attention to each dog’s unique needs. I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs, and adjust my care style accordingly. I have always had a passion for animals, and making sure every pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m currently working part-time, so my schedule is extremely flexible! I am available almost everyday, all day to care for your pups! I just recently moved up to South Lake for college and am living in the dorms, so I’m trying to save up some extra money doing what I love! On walks, I focus on keeping pets safe, comfortable, and happy. I always stay alert to surroundings, and avoid busy or unsafe areas. I always make sure to bring water on longer walks, watch for signs of tiredness or overheating, and give them time to sniff and explore. I also reinforce good leash behavior with gentle guidance and positive encouragement. Each walk is a mix of exercise, care, and fun.

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs my entire life, which means caring for four-legged family members is second nature to me. As my family and friend’s resident dog sitter, I have hands on experience with pups of all shapes, sizes, and personalities from high energy giants to tiny couch potatoes. I am passionate about keeping dogs active and healthy, so you can count on me to provide plenty of outdoor time and engaging walks. I look forward to meeting your furry friend and providing them with a safe, fun, and loving environment while you're away! As a full-time remote worker, my schedule is highly flexible! Pet care fits seamlessly into my day, allowing me to offer reliable windows for walks and drop-ins. My 'portable' office also makes me a great fit for house sitting, as I can work right from your home and keep your pet company. Weekends are equally open and flexible for whatever your pet needs! I believe the best environment for a pet is one that closely mirrors their usual routine. Whether I am house sitting or dropping in, I strictly follow your specific guidelines for feeding and house rules. During house sittings and drop-ins, I respect your home as if it were my own—keeping things clean, secure, and locked up. When we are out on walks, your dog will always be kept on a secure, standard leash, and I maintain a strict 'no greeting' policy with unfamiliar dogs to prevent any unpredictable interactions. I am deeply observant of body language to ensure your pet is happy, comfortable, and never stressed. I also believe that communication builds trust, so you can always expect timely photo updates and detailed Rover cards after every visit!

I love seeing how far they have walked and how much more energetic Vixen is since we added her walks with Susan. It's a great investment in my dog. So happy with the results.”

About: Hi! I’m Georgette — a lifelong animal lover and Tahoe resident since 2008 with over 6 years of regular pet-sitting experience. I’m calm, patient, and active, and I love spending time outside keeping pets happy, exercised, and engaged. I work well with high-energy breeds, large dogs, and multi-pet households. I care for dogs and cats of all ages, including puppies and seniors, and I’m comfortable giving both oral and injectable medications. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and overnight stays in your home (no boarding). Visits and walks are typically 30 minutes, and I am available throughout the South Lake Tahoe/Stateline area. I’m self-employed as a web designer, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to plan my work around pet visits, walks, and overnights. I enjoy being outside and active, so walks and check-ins are something I genuinely look forward to each day. I provide care in my clients’ homes so pets can stay in their own familiar environment and routines. During visits and overnights, I focus on keeping things consistent with what your pets are used to — feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, and quiet time. I make sure dogs get proper exercise and attention, and cats get the calm, respectful care they prefer. I keep litter boxes, food areas, and living spaces tidy, and I always double-check doors, gates, and leashes for safety. I also send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are comfortable and well cared for.

“Teresa was an amazing dog sitter and took great care of our dog, Stacy, while we traveled for work for 3 nights.

There will definitely be more stays in the future with Nicole. Thanks again!”

About: As lifelong dog owners ourselves, we understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. Bre has experience volunteering at the humane society, and we've spent the last few years pet sitting, caring for dogs with different personalities, routines, and needs. Whether they need long walks, playtime, or just some cuddles on the couch, our goal is to stick to your dog's normal routine and treat them like one of our own. Dan and I both work in the restaurant industry, which gives us a flexible schedule. We work 3–4 days a week and often work opposite shifts, so one of us is usually home or available throughout the day. If we do work the same day, our shifts are in the evening, so we still have the entire morning and afternoon to spend with your pet. We make it a priority to provide plenty of attention, playtime, and love so your pet feels comfortable with us. We want every pet to feel safe, comfortable, and at home while in our care. We have a fenced-in backyard and live just minutes from the marsh and beach, which gives us plenty of opportunities for walks, outdoor adventures, and playtime. Our own dog loves exploring the area and swimming, but we always prioritize each dog's individual comfort. If your dog prefers to be the only pet or does not do well with other dogs, we are happy to provide care in your home instead. We understand that every owner has their own routines and expectations, and we will always respect your instructions and your pet’s needs. At our home, dogs are welcome on the couch, surrounded by toys, attention, and lots of love. Whether your pet is staying with us or we are caring for them in their own home, our goal is to create a safe, trusting, and stress-free environment.
“Adam was great! I needed a last minute place for my Boston terrier and Adam responded almost right away. He took my dog on a ride, walk and got to lounge and play for a couple days. Koa had just as much of a great vacation as us! I received pics of his little adventures and Adam communicated great. Will be booking again next time we go to Tahoe and need a place for our pup.”
