“Danika was an absolute life-saver when our cat ended up going to the emergency vet just a few days before my family and I were going on vacation for a whole week after. As he recovered from his vet visit, he required constant care which involved multiple check-ins a day, monitoring how often he drank water, ate his food, and used the litter box. He also needed to be given 3 different medications on different time schedules, 2 of which required being administered with a syringe in his mouth. Danika was able to do all of this and even texted us updates after each visit to let us know how things were going. Her availability on such short notice along with her attention to detail and genuine love and care for our cat gave us the peace of mind we needed to enjoy our vacation without feeling worried the entire time. About: Growing up, my family didn’t have a cat as my parents were allergic. Luckily when I moved into a place with a friend, his girlfriend found a stray cat in need and we got to keep him! I lived with a cat for 2 years and though the beginning was a bit slow as the cat wasn’t quite domesticated, over the time it grew to be possibly my favorite species of animal!

About: My family and I have owned pets since I can remember. I am currently 33 with 3 pets of my own, but have grown up with pets in the home my whole childhood. My family always had dogs and cats in our home, and additionally I owned a bearded dragon, fish, and a tortoise that I helped care for daily. Once I moved to college in 2014, I got my first pet of my own. Her name is Stella and she has been with me for the last 12 years. She has lived with me in Oregon, Texas, and now Reno. Additionally, my wife and I have a silly orange cat named Nemo, and a fun/energetic Frenchie named Comet. While living in Texas we adopted another cat with FeLV who also developed diabetes. I have experience giving insulin injections and taking blood glucose readings. I have met and cared for many of my friend’s pets of all ages and sizes and can responsibly provide all daily care for your furry babies as needed. This includes but is not limited to feeding, walking, playing, transporting, giving oral meds, and subcutaneous injections. I currently work as a teacher and have extended breaks during the fall, winter, and summer. During the school year I will have availability during afternoons and evenings for some care activities, and weekends for more. During breaks, if not traveling, and I will have a lot more flexibility daily. Update 06/08: I am currently on summer break from teaching. My weekday availability has been updated with more available times/ services. I currently live in a 2 bedroom apartment with my 2 dogs and an indoor cat. The pets have access to the entire unit including furniture during the day and when sleeping. Our spare bedroom can be used for your pet if they are more anxious and want separation from the other animals. My dogs are crated when no one is home to supervise, and the cat has full access to the unit at all times. My pets are all friendly towards other dogs and cats. In the past when sitting for animals, I have them fall into the same routines as my animals for walking, feeding, pottying, and crating, unless specified different by the owner. When doing drop ins and house sitting, I follow all instructions left by the owner.
About: I grew up my whole life with dogs. Nothing is better then receiving their love when you walk through the door. My home even has it's own dog bathroom, dog run & house which is heated and cooled. I'm a volunteer at Nevada Humane Society. Dogs are the best!!! About: I grew up on a farm in Iowa. I’ve been around animals my whole life and they are what I think is the best part of life! I also worked in a veterinary hospital for over 10 years. I can’t wait to bring years of compassion and care experience to your pets. Weekends are my best availability. I work full time and can visit in the weekend when needed for drop in visits and or walks as needed. I feel most comfortable doing home visits, walks, and frequent potty breaks. I’d be happy to give your pets exercise on the weekend when you’re unavailable/gone.

About: Hi, I’m Angie! I started walking dogs my senior year of college and loved the quality time I got to spend with them! I truly feel like pets embody the purest form of love. I also started watching cats during my time in law school and have experience administering medication. I know how important it is to have someone you can trust when finding someone to care for your furry family member, and I'd be honored to care for your baby! I like to provide consistent updates with plenty of photos throughout the time I share with your pet. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions! I’m currently waiting on bar results so my day-to-day schedule is pretty flexible, and I'd be happy to check in on your pet while you're at work or on vacation! I will treat your pet like my own! I usually like to meet the family before I start caring for your pet on my own so we can all get familiar with each other. I also provide photos and updates throughout my walk or visit. For dog owners, I’m happy to share my location for the duration of the walk as well!

About: I’ve had pets my entire life and each one has meant the world to me. I promise to give that same love and care to your pets! I work from home, so I am pretty available and flexible. I’m happy to do daily walks and open to a repeating schedule, or just a one time event! I am very easy going when house sitting. A detailed note is all I need, and you can expect to receive plenty of photos of your pet(s). I have two cats in my home that are used to having dogs around! We can discuss boarding in my home if needed.
