“This is the second time Sherina has taken care of my cat and garden, and her care and consideration is outstanding; both times, she has gone above and beyond the job description. I forgot it was trash day the day before I was coming home, and she noticed the neighbors had their cans outside. My recycling was completely full, and she was kind enough to take it out. This attention to detail extended to her care for my cat, who immediately recognized her as his new best friend. Sherina’s love for animals is evident beyond the pets entrusted in her care; my cat is a remorseless hunter, and she rescued a baby bunny from the backyard before the cat could catch it. The cat quickly forgave her with the distraction of his favorite treats. Sherina also has a green thumb; she kept my garden thriving during a heat wave, and sent me updates on the blooming flowers in addition to adorable cat in action pictures. She also noticed the nozzle attachment to my automatic drip system had a crack and was leaking. I ordered the replacement, and Sherina offered to switch out the broken one for the new one. I felt like it was a lot to ask since I hadn’t included horticultural engineering in the contract, but she said she would be happy to fix it. When I returned, the drip system was better than ever- no leak, low water bill, no wasted water and happy flowers. What’s more, Sherina was able to watch the house an extra day on short notice when my travel plans unexpectedly changed. If I could give her ten stars, I would! About: My family and I have owned pets since I can remember. I am currently 33 with 3 pets of my own, but have grown up with pets in the home my whole childhood. My family always had dogs and cats in our home, and additionally I owned a bearded dragon, fish, and a tortoise that I helped care for daily. Once I moved to college in 2014, I got my first pet of my own. Her name is Stella and she has been with me for the last 12 years. She has lived with me in Oregon, Texas, and now Reno. Additionally, my wife and I have a silly orange cat named Nemo, and a fun/energetic Frenchie named Comet. While living in Texas we adopted another cat with FeLV who also developed diabetes. I have experience giving insulin injections and taking blood glucose readings. I have met and cared for many of my friend’s pets of all ages and sizes and can responsibly provide all daily care for your furry babies as needed. This includes but is not limited to feeding, walking, playing, transporting, giving oral meds, and subcutaneous injections. I currently work as a teacher and have extended breaks during the fall, winter, and summer. During the school year I will have availability during afternoons and evenings for some care activities, and weekends for more. During breaks, if not traveling, and I will have a lot more flexibility daily. Update 06/08: I am currently on summer break from teaching. My weekday availability has been updated with more available times/ services. I currently live in a 2 bedroom apartment with my 2 dogs and an indoor cat. The pets have access to the entire unit including furniture during the day and when sleeping. Our spare bedroom can be used for your pet if they are more anxious and want separation from the other animals. My dogs are crated when no one is home to supervise, and the cat has full access to the unit at all times. My pets are all friendly towards other dogs and cats. In the past when sitting for animals, I have them fall into the same routines as my animals for walking, feeding, pottying, and crating, unless specified different by the owner. When doing drop ins and house sitting, I follow all instructions left by the owner.

About: I’ve had a dog my whole life and regularly dog and house sit for family, friends, and coworkers. I am an avid hiker and it wouldn’t be a surprise if I’m walking around the park in my weighted vest! I absolutely love pets. I work full time but have twelve hour shifts. There are 3-4 days a week that I am completely available. I am able to provide house care during the work week, but I am gone for 12 hours of the day. My schedule is great for drop in visits, walks, and daily cuddles. My dog is taken out every 90 minutes to use the bathroom. She gets two hour long walks a day, and depending on what type of care and activity your dog or cat may need I am able to do so! My dog also has seizures, so I am used to paying extra attention to the things they want to eat, get into, and explore.

Boarding + Doggy Daycare Schedule: 9AM – Morning Restroom + Food Routine 12PM – Potty Break* 4PM – Potty Break* 7PM – Night Restroom + Food Routine *Potty breaks can range from peeing on the grass on the balcony to outside, depending on the dog's level of urgency. Please read the following: - I will only board a maximum of two (2) dogs at a time. - I take the dogs for a walk in pairs. Walks can last anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour, depending on the dog's energy level and the weather. - All dogs are fed separately at the specified times. In addition, all dogs will remain separated until playtime, unless requested otherwise. I PROVIDE COMPLIMENTARY PICK-UPS AND DROP-OFFS TO ALL LOCAL CLIENTS IN CENTRAL HOUSTON (Clients within a 15 miles radius) Any pick up's outside that range will be charged $5 per every 5 miles. Please keep in mind that the app will state that drop-offs cost $1. I will modify the service request to remove the $1; if I do not do it myself, please remind me to do so:) By Request, I offer the following additive options for the dog(s) food: 1. Baths for dog’s boarding for longer than 3-4 days. In addition, I provide pee pads for dogs that have been potty trained or are in the process of being trained. This includes spraying pee pads with potty break solution — I have seen great results on some dogs. Lastly, I love to play music that helps the dog sleep at night. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine as I prioritize regular feeding, exercise, and companionship for the pets I care for, ensuring their well-being and happiness. I have a park near by for the dog(s) to play and a friendly dog to keep your fur baby(s) company. I have a doggy fence for your dog(s), incase I need to crate him/her. But this will give him/her more space to to relax, eat (if needed), and play with toys in its own comfort.
