About: I've had dogs for over 20 years but began fostering dogs about 6 years ago. I have fostered with the NSPCA and other organizations both here in Las Vegas and in California. About: Hi! I’m Scarlett, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. Some of my favorite memories growing up involve dogs curled up next to me on the couch, playing outside until they were completely worn out, or spending quiet evenings with my cat in my lap. Caring for animals has never felt like a chore to me—it’s something I genuinely love. Over the years I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Right now I have a service dog who has taught me so much about patience and understanding anxious pets. Because she needs extra reassurance, I’ve learned to pay attention to body language, build trust at each dog’s pace, and create an environment where they feel safe and comfortable. I also have a 10-year-old cat that I’ve raised since she was young. When she started having trouble using her litter box, I didn’t give up or get frustrated. I spent time researching, changing her routine, and working with her until she was confidently using it again. Experiences like that have taught me that every pet communicates differently, and sometimes they just need someone willing to slow down and understand them. I’m especially comfortable caring for pets with medical needs. I’ve given insulin injections to my younger brother with Type 1 diabetes as well as a close friend’s diabetic dog, so needles and strict medication schedules don’t intimidate me. I’ve also administered eye drops, ear medication, and oral medications to my own dogs, including caring for one of my dogs while he struggled with painful eye conditions that required daily treatment. Since I’m studying nursing, being calm, detail-oriented, and following medical routines accurately is something that comes naturally to me. I’m also an active person. I love being outside, going on walks, running, and staying busy, so energetic dogs are honestly my favorite. About: I have taken care of animals since I was a child and started volunteering at animal shelters to spend additional time caring for our furry friends. I have a hybrid and flexible work schedule during weekdays making it easy to take breaks during the day to check in on your furry family members. Open availability on weekends as well! About: I have had dogs my whole life and in 2009 I adopted my first rescue that lived until 16. I also work as an SPTA in MS so my patience is alot different than most. I work the 9 month school year so my schedule works on the school timeline. I live in an apartment so I daily walk my own dog for exercise. I have used Rover for help with my own pup and thought I could do the same for others. I only will be able to offer drop in and walking at their own home (etc.) I usually walk my own dog at least 30 min minimum when the weather permits. I live by Legacy Golf Course so when I walk my dog we tend to explore the area. Sometimes I take her on the trails nearby.

About: I have been around animals all my life since childhood and up to my adult years . I have taken care of dogs, cats , hamster, rabbits and guinea pigs.
