About: Hello! ☺️ I’m Raye, I’m 29 years old and come from a family of animal lovers. My mom works with a local organization back in Nebraska to help find lost animals and return them to their owners and my sister is a certified dog trainer in Colorado, so I’ve definitely learned a thing or two. I’ve watched after animals all of my life, including caring for my mom’s senior dogs and cats while she’s away on vacation numerous times and also popping by any of my friend’s or coworker’s houses to feed and care for their pets when needed. I also worked with a nonprofit organization when I was a teenager that helped care for and raise money for animals in need. I have two dogs of my own, Hopper and Hanky, who are both pretty particular little guys. Hank has epilepsy and severe separation anxiety and Hopper is reactive to strangers, so I’ve learned how to properly care for them to keep them comfortable and happy. Your animals would definitely be safe in my care and I’d love to meet them! 🫶🏻 I just moved here from Des Moines, Iowa so my schedule is completely open and available to care for your pets! Once I’m settled in, I do plan on only getting part time work, so my schedule will remain flexible. I’m patient, attentive, and responsible when caring for pets. I enjoy going on walks, playing, giving lots of attention, and making sure dogs feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I also understand how important it is to follow each pet parent’s instructions, whether that involves feeding schedules, walks, medications, or their usual routine. My goal is to give every dog the same care, attention, and affection I would want someone to give my own pet. 🐾 My schedule is currently very flexible, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time to pet care. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and sitting, and I can work around each pet’s individual routine and needs. I enjoy having pets as part of my daily routine and making sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and care while their owners are away. I always want pets to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in my home or in their own home. I follow each pet parent’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, routines, and any specific needs their pet may have. I keep a clean and pet-friendly environment, supervise pets closely, and make sure doors, gates, and other potential escape areas are secure. I also give pets plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and affection while respecting their individual personality and comfort level. My goal is for both the pet and their owner to feel safe and confident while they’re in my care.
“My first experience with Rover was with Heather Rieck and I am SOLD! She is so incredibly sweet, attentive, sincere, knowledgeable, efficient, organized, professional and just an enjoyable person for myself and my furbaby! Our animals (1 dog 3 cats) took to her right away. Seeking her for attention, affection and responded to her immediately. I was relieved, pleasantly surprised and excited. She went over every detail about my furkid, Baby, who has a laundry list of VERY special needs from medical to behavior. Baby is a mostly deaf rescue with severe allergies, stage 5 heart murmor and an ongoing outer ear problem. Heather was able to get Baby to sit & come to her when called. She catered the walk according to Baby's needs, being mindful of her heart condition and her reaction to seeing other dogs. Heather then left me a haND written note summarizing their walk/visit and later posted pictures online for me to view and share! What an outstanding animal lover she is! After hesitating for so long to use Rover, I can't wait to use it again and again with Heather as my go-to for Baby's needs!”

About: My love for animals started for me as a child. I love their unconditional love and innocence and I treat them as a family member. In my adult life, I rescued several dogs... some were puppies and a few were adults all of which lived out their days in my home. So, I have extensive experience with every stage of your pet's lifespan. While all ages are loved, Seniors are my jam as they warm my soul. My speciality is monitoring dogs with behavioral and emotional challenges. Dogs that are "aggressive" and "possessive" of their food, people and toys learn they are safe to share with other dogs. Your pet will receive comfort, love, attention, exercise, and gentle correction when warranted. Pet sitting has become my daily joy and I have many references upon request. Safety is always my priority concern and I will ensure that your pet is watched over closely. I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of play with your pups! I'm available for boarding seven days a week including daycare and overnight. Drop-in services. Pet walks/boot camp! I have a fenced yard and a fenced-in pool area. I share my home with my sweet 16 year old chihuahua to keep your fur baby company. He is very dog friendly. I can easily separate or crate your dog if requested. Depending on the dog, they can free roam or be in a blocked off portion of my house.
