About: I've had dogs for over 20 years but began fostering dogs about 6 years ago. I have fostered with the NSPCA and other organizations both here in Las Vegas and in California. I love animals and always want to make sure that they are cared for. I have nursed dogs back to health from many different situations. About: I have had dogs my whole life and in 2009 I adopted my first rescue that lived until 16. I also work as an SPTA in MS so my patience is alot different than most. I work the 9 month school year so my schedule works on the school timeline. I live in an apartment so I daily walk my own dog for exercise. I have used Rover for help with my own pup and thought I could do the same for others. I only will be able to offer drop in and walking at their own home (etc.) I usually walk my own dog at least 30 min minimum when the weather permits. I live by Legacy Golf Course so when I walk my dog we tend to explore the area. Sometimes I take her on the trails nearby.

About: Hi! I’m Scarlett, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. Some of my favorite memories growing up involve dogs curled up next to me on the couch, playing outside until they were completely worn out, or spending quiet evenings with my cat in my lap. Caring for animals has never felt like a chore to me—it’s something I genuinely love. Over the years I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Right now I have a service dog who has taught me so much about patience and understanding anxious pets. Because she needs extra reassurance, I’ve learned to pay attention to body language, build trust at each dog’s pace, and create an environment where they feel safe and comfortable. I also have a 10-year-old cat that I’ve raised since she was young. When she started having trouble using her litter box, I didn’t give up or get frustrated. I spent time researching, changing her routine, and working with her until she was confidently using it again. Experiences like that have taught me that every pet communicates differently, and sometimes they just need someone willing to slow down and understand them. I’m especially comfortable caring for pets with medical needs. I’ve given insulin injections to my younger brother with Type 1 diabetes as well as a close friend’s diabetic dog, so needles and strict medication schedules don’t intimidate me. I’ve also administered eye drops, ear medication, and oral medications to my own dogs, including caring for one of my dogs while he struggled with painful eye conditions that required daily treatment. Since I’m studying nursing, being calm, detail-oriented, and following medical routines accurately is something that comes naturally to me. I’m also an active person. I love being outside, going on walks, running, and staying busy, so energetic dogs are honestly my favorite. Whether your dog loves long walks, games of fetch, or simply needs someone who can match their energy, I’m always excited to join them. At the same time, I’m just as happy spending a quiet afternoon keeping an older dog company or giving extra attention to a shy pet that needs a little more patience. About: My love for animals started for me as a child. I love their unconditional love and innocence and I treat them as a family member. In my adult life, I rescued several dogs... some were puppies and a few were adults all of which lived out their days in my home. So, I have extensive experience with every stage of your pet's lifespan. While all ages are loved, Seniors are my jam as they warm my soul. My speciality is monitoring dogs with behavioral and emotional challenges. Dogs that are "aggressive" and "possessive" of their food, people and toys learn they are safe to share with other dogs. Your pet will receive comfort, love, attention, exercise, and gentle correction when warranted. Pet sitting has become my daily joy and I have many references upon request. Safety is always my priority concern and I will ensure that your pet is watched over closely. I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of play with your pups! I share my home with my sweet 16 year old chihuahua to keep your fur baby company. He is very dog friendly. I can easily separate or crate your dog if requested. Depending on the dog, they can free roam or be in a blocked off portion of my house.
