I have extensive pet care experience, including being trusted to oversee the late-night shift at a boarding facility with up to 200 dogs single handedly. I am also able to take care of any wounds or any medical needs your pet might have.I grew up on a farm with all kinds of animals. I have owned and been around dogs of all sorts from little Chihuahua to full pit bulls. I have had multiple dogs. I did go through basic training courses and discipline courses with my own dogs and I'm very comfortable with working with animals on these skills. I did a training course with the 'Dog Whisperer of Atlanta' on how to work with dogs that have aggression issues and learned proper handling of dogs on leash. My daughter is a Vet Tech and I have really learned a lot from her. She has three large dogs and I have sat with them and walked all three at the same time without any issues. I have helped her in her jobs in pet sitting and in fostering puppies. Just returned four puppies that were kept from six weeks until eleven weeks old to be adopted out from shelter. I am currently with multiple families/pets but have time to help others! I am a retired R. N. therefore I have lots of time to spend my days walking and playing with animals! I am a night owl so also able to do visits or walks at night Right now I will not be watching animals in my home. But I do have a fenced yard and a doggy door in case I decide to do it in the future.

About: I grew up on a farm in michigan with blue heelers. I was a trainer at a small family owned pet store for a couple years in college and have had numerous dogs amongst many other pets. I have a fenced in yard and a separate bedroom with padded floors, dog TV and cages for training, playing and relaxing. I do outside sales and mostly make my own schedule. Im rarely gone from the house more than a couple hours at a time for meetings and spend time doing several sessions of training per day as well as walks with my puppy. I have a fully fenced in yard and a very friendly german shepherd Belgian malinois mix puppy that spends probably 20+ hours a day with me.
“David and Patricia H. were amazing! They were incredibly friendly and made me feel completely at ease. They kept me updated throughout the stay with text, great pictures, videos, and took Cujo on a nice walk. Even though they only had him for a little over 6 hours, they treated him with so much care. The photos they sent were really great too. You can tell they truly enjoy what they do. I’d definitely book with them again!”

“We had a meet and greet day with Amanda, her husband and their dog Pooper a week before we boarded Ruby @ their home. Right off the bat when we first met, we already got an excellent impression on them. Ruby and Pooper seemed to like each other right away. During Ruby's stay, Amanda sent pictures updating us on Ruby's progress. Very nice pictures showing she's feeling at home, happy and having a great time. Ruby came home relax and happy. We are so thankful and excited that we found Amanda. She is very flexible and reliable and we trust her to take care of our Ruby when we are away. She and her husband are very nice people.”
