About: I grew up around lots of animals (cats, dogs, chickens, goats, reptiles), and I now have a lovely cat of my own named Julian. I absolutely love getting to spend time with other people’s pets. At this point in my life, I’d say I’m very much both a dog-person and a cat-person. I go on walks every day before or after work, and during my lunch break. Walking a dog would fit naturally into that routine. I’m willing to wake up early in the morning if needed, and if the client lives in Santa Fe, I would have the capacity to visit the dog or cat during my midday break from work as well. If the client lives outside of Santa Fe, I’m still available every evening for walks, feeding, and giving the dog/cat attention and human contact. I’m typically able to stay overnight at a client’s home any night of the week if needed. I treat pets with care, respect, and attentiveness. I’m a clean and tidy houseguest, and will respect the client’s privacy and boundaries. Michelle and her family were the perfect fit for Mylene. It was so nice to not have to worry about Mylene while on vacation. I could tell that Mylene received a ton of attention on Mylene’s terms, exercise and clear/consistent direction from Michelle. This is why her stay went smoothly and she didn’t destroy anything due to not being stressed and she was able play with 2 other dogs. Michelle was very communicate and timely with responses which made securing this rover stay, drop off and pick up extremely easy. “We were visiting Santa Fe and needed a sitter for our basset boy Sam so we could spend a day at the spa and visit a national park. The moment I saw Victoria’s profile, I knew she was the one. When I reached out with the request she responded quickly and was happy to take Sam for the day. As soon as we arrived for the drop off, we knew we had lucked out. Victoria’s home is beautiful, in a quiet, scenic location, and clearly designed with animals in mind while staying artistic and clean. She has three friendly dogs, cats, chickens, and turkeys, which Sam loved. Victoria herself was warm and genuinely excited to meet him. We left Sam for 7 hours, and she took wonderful care of him, even walking him down the arroyo to help with his separation anxiety. When we picked him up, he was happy and relaxed with his tail wagging. This was our first time using Rover, and we found the perfect sitter on the first try. I was worried because she has a small dog and there was an incident with my dog where a small dog went after Venus and she responded in turn, causing some injury. But Michelle introduced them slowly and they ended up playing together - now I know it is not small dogs that are the problem but aggressive dogs that make her feel like she is under attack and needs to defend herself.”

About: I've had dogs and taken care of them since I was a young child. As an adult I’ve fostered dogs for over 5 years, taking care of all types of dogs. I have experience potty training, house breaking, bathing, and more. The dogs I have fostered came from all sorts of backgrounds; homeless, abusive households, neglected, seniors, disabled (blind, deaf, hard of hearing, missing limbs). I enjoy spending time with all animals and animals like to be around me. Currently working on my dog trainer certification I have a flexible schedule since I work from home most of the time. As a dog owner myself I spend a lot of time taking care of my dog. We go on walks 3 times a day, he gets treats, cuddles and play time all day long. On the weekends when the weather is nice we like to go for short hikes. Unfortunately I sustained a bad fall in 2024 and broke my back; so I am unable to care for any pet over 50lbs or any pet that is leash reactive or pulls on a leash. Since that would aggravate the injury and most definetely stop me from caring for pets all together; I hope you can understand! I have a small backyard where we go play fetch, we also love going to Frenchy’s or many of the other parks in the area for walks and off leash play when the weather is nice. Going for walks 2-3 times a day around the neighborhood as well

I’m glad to use your dog’s crate at my house whenever I am not home if needed (not typical). Frenchy Park is right across the street from my house and super fun for the pups. I treat and protect each dog as if they were my own and love them all unconditionally. FYI, I don’t introduce my pack to other dogs that we don’t know, to avoid any unwanted drama and to keep everyone safe. New dogs really shouldn’t be introduced while on leashes anyway. I speak the language of dogs and am confident around them always. I am always their alpha who provides a fun and safe space for my pack.

Your pet will get lots of adventure with me! I am available for evening care M-F after 4p and anytime on weekends. I can do overnight stays with your pet but work full time M-F 8a-4p I have a fenced yard with an additional 10 acres of canyon and forest surrounding to allow your pet to have adventures and fun. I can crate your dog if necessary and have a trained furry companion of my own who can befriend your pet too!

Fredo has significant vision and hearing deficits along with high anxiety, and Stephanie was so patient in trying to navigate his unique needs. While the environment ultimately wasn’t the right fit for Fredo’s specific anxiety, I could tell he was in caring hands. I highly recommend Stephanie to anyone in the Santa Fe area looking for an attentive, responsive, and kind sitter!”

“Kendell kept Camber, my yorkie, for a 24 hour stay. Kendell is a great communicator, and provided several updates and photos since this was Camber's first time away since she was a puppy. Kendall's sweet dog, Taz, got along great woth Camber, and they had a wonderful time playing and taking walks together. Kendall's deafness was not an issue whatsoever, and it obvious she is really good with dogs. Camber's next (much longer) stay is already booked.”
