About: I grew up around lots of animals (cats, dogs, chickens, goats, reptiles), and I now have a lovely cat of my own named Julian. I absolutely love getting to spend time with other people’s pets. At this point in my life, I’d say I’m very much both a dog-person and a cat-person. I go on walks every day before or after work, and during my lunch break. Walking a dog would fit naturally into that routine. I’m willing to wake up early in the morning if needed, and if the client lives in Santa Fe, I would have the capacity to visit the dog or cat during my midday break from work as well. If the client lives outside of Santa Fe, I’m still available every evening for walks, feeding, and giving the dog/cat attention and human contact. I’m typically able to stay overnight at a client’s home any night of the week if needed. I treat pets with care, respect, and attentiveness. Of course, we’ll be right there with her every step of the way, teaching and helping her along the way. Daily Care Routine We follow a flexible, rotational care schedule so each pet gets individual attention and plenty of opportunities to go outside. Morning: First thing in the morning, we take each pet outside one at a time for a bathroom break and some fresh air. Once everyone has had their turn, they come inside for breakfast. Indoor Time: After breakfast, pets are able to relax and enjoy time indoors in a comfortable, climate-controlled environment. They have access to toys and a TV for entertainment, along with plenty of attention and interaction throughout the day. Potty Breaks: Every couple of hours, we rotate through the pets and take them outside individually for another potty break. We continue this routine throughout the day, adjusting it based on each pet’s needs. Because we work from home and are here throughout the day, we’re very flexible. For our longer-term guests, we also have a dedicated doggy bath to help keep them clean and comfortable during their stay. During the day, pets can enjoy time indoors in our climate-controlled space, complete with a TV for entertainment and plenty of toys and attention. When it’s time to stretch their legs or take a potty break, they have access to our fenced yard where they can safely get some fresh air and movement. At night, we use a sound machine to create a calm, peaceful environment and help everyone settle in for a restful night. Because we’re home throughout the day, we’re able to give each guest individual attention and adjust their routine to fit their needs. We want every pet to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with us.

About: I've always had pets in my life whether its cats, dogs, fish, pigs, lambs, bunnies or birds. They weren't all mine but I'm a part of a big animal loving family and we were raised to treat them all like our own. I know the value of loving your pet but providing structure for them as well. I will respect the guidelines that you have set for your pet, while showering them with love and attention. About: I've had dogs and taken care of them since I was a young child. As an adult I’ve fostered dogs for over 5 years, taking care of all types of dogs. I have experience potty training, house breaking, bathing, and more. The dogs I have fostered came from all sorts of backgrounds; homeless, abusive households, neglected, seniors, disabled (blind, deaf, hard of hearing, missing limbs). I enjoy spending time with all animals and animals like to be around me. Currently working on my dog trainer certification I have a flexible schedule since I work from home most of the time. As a dog owner myself I spend a lot of time taking care of my dog. We go on walks 3 times a day, he gets treats, cuddles and play time all day long. On the weekends when the weather is nice we like to go for short hikes. Unfortunately I sustained a bad fall in 2024 and broke my back; so I am unable to care for any pet over 50lbs or any pet that is leash reactive or pulls on a leash. Since that would aggravate the injury and most definetely stop me from caring for pets all together; I hope you can understand! I have a small backyard where we go play fetch, we also love going to Frenchy’s or many of the other parks in the area for walks and off leash play when the weather is nice. Going for walks 2-3 times a day around the neighborhood as well

About: My husband and I have an Australian cattle dog and had a tabby cat who has crossed the rainbow road. I often care for my family members' dog when they are out of town. He requires special care, as he needs to take a few pills every day both day and night. This schedule is second nature to us. We enjoy being around our furry pals and will enjoy caring for yours too! I promote the pack mentality among my dogs as I am always their pack leader who ensures their safety and protection all the time. I’m glad to use your dog’s crate at my house whenever I am not home if needed (not typical). Sometimes I take the pack out on planned field trips, usually afternoons and weekends, to various places throughout the area. Frenchy Park is right across the street from my house and super fun for the pups. I treat and protect each dog as if they were my own and love them all unconditionally. FYI, I don’t introduce my pack to other dogs that we don’t know, to avoid any unwanted drama and to keep everyone safe. New dogs really shouldn’t be introduced while on leashes anyway. I speak the language of dogs and am confident around them always. I am always their alpha who provides a fun and safe space for my pack.
About: I have experience with all animals - farm animals, aquatic animals, dogs, cats, feral animals too. I love goats and miss my farm. I can't have animals of my own at this time and just looking for a rewarding side hustle. I find healing in the presence of animals. About: I’ve always had a special love for animals and the outdoors. I grew up surrounded by pets and have had multiple pups throughout my life, including my two sweet Border Collies, Meko and Oppie.
