Our dog is so hard to feed because he has specific ways on how he likes to be fed but she was able to find a way so he will eat while we are away. About: I absolutely love dogs, and will treat your baby like mine. I got into this because finding good care for my dog is such a stressful experience as my tolerance for risk is extremely low. I am a nervous dog mom and will care for your pets like they are my own, they will be safe and secure with me and you will get as many updates as you would like. I’m available for boarding on the weekends as well as from Tuesday- Wednesday night. I work in ABQ as well so if you need someone to stay at your house during the week while you are on vacation I am happy to do that as well. In clients home I want to make sure I have a good understanding of their routine and behavior. Having a high level overview of your dog will help me care for them. A former roommates dog had a thing for people on skateboards so when we were on walks, I knew I needed to hold him tight as they were passing. Understanding your dogs quirks will help me care for them.
About: I have taken care of my own dogs/cats as well as families pets, I can create a big connection with animals, especially dogs, I have a big heart for all animals I’m currently a stay at home mom of a toddler and she loves animals just as much as me, walking dogs or having to go visit them would get us out of the house and we’re almost always free. I do have a little Banana Bread side business too. I have a fenced yard, 3 dogs (a saint bernard thats a bit older, a chihuahua and a blue heeler mix) and one cat, the cat is an outdoor cat. Our dogs haven’t been around too many other animals besides families dogs but once they meet new dogs and get to know each other they can get along well with them.

About: I have owned diabetic dogs and one with epilepsy. Friends and coworkers always ask me to watch their furbabies because they know how good my husband and I are with our own. They trust us and coming from someone who rarely traveled and when I did I took them with me because I don't trust others would take care of them like I do. I understand the anxiety that comes with having to leave them behind for whatever reason. Knowing they will be loved and have fun makes it that much easier for both you and your pet. Safety and security are also most important to us so rest assured they will be okay. I'm a stay at home mom and my husband's business is from home so we are both always here. We never leave for more that 3 hours due to our 2 dogs. I have a fenced yard with lots of room to run around. My brother also lives across from me and has over an acre of running room as well if needed. My husband and I work from home and are always available. We used to have dogs with medical issues and couldn't really leave them with anyone. My husband and I love animals and know how hard it is to leave them anywhere. Even at petsmart hotel they stay inside a small area and the play area isn't that big. We work from home and are never away longer than 4 hours. We have a 2 year old who is really good with the dogs as well but Rest assured we never let her play with them unattended. We have a large yard for dogs and know that they will be taken care of and loved while visiting us. All pets need love and attention. Even pet hotels leave them alone overnight and the thought of them having to hold it or use it in their space to feel ashamed is aweful. With us you get peace of mind and that's priceless In my home they will be treated like our own. They can play outside as long as they want. They scratch on the door ahead. They want in or out. They sleep inside on our bed with us of course. We want them to sleep wherever they feel comfortable. My dog buddy sleeps in his cage when he stays with others because he feels safe there so we understand everyone is different.

About: I have lived with at least 2 dogs in my household for the past 20 years. Providing them with the opportunities to live fulfilling and healthy lives has been my priority. Although I am their caregiver, I consider them also to be my teachers. Learning how to communicate with them is the best way to ensure they are happy and calm, and that they feel safe. I am currently retired and spend quite a bit of time at the dog park. My dog and I are mostly inseparable. I take him with me to run errands when I can. It isn't always practical and so he minds the house when I am away. Barney is my only companion, and, even though I'm kind of a loner, Barney is NOT. He is extremely friendly and social and craves the company of other dog;, that factors into my decision to care for other dogs in my home. Barney will help me keep your dog comfortable and happy while in our care. We have a fenced back yard (4 foot). The surrounding properties have no dogs at this time. If your dog can jump a 4 foot fence, this may not be the safest home for him or her.

“I met Elaine and her doggies about a year ago. My dogs finally stayed at her house for four nights last month, and then for one day last week. My dogs had already met her dogs a year ago, and when they met up again, they were like old pals. No growling or hassling. It was perfect! I got daily updates and pictures from Elaine. It was so comforting! And my dogs did great at her house and with her dogs, and it was just the best! Growing up, my family had 13 dogs, so caring for them and being surrounded by animals was a significant part of my childhood. As I grew older, so did they, and unfortunately, most have since passed away. After moving to New Mexico three years ago, I quickly realized how much I missed having my furry companions around. That inspired me to begin providing pet care services through Rover. Shih Tzu with my sister, which has reminded me just how much I enjoy spending time with dogs, caring for them, and keeping them happy and entertained. I truly believe the saying that “a dog is a person’s best friend.” ❤️ Our pets may be one chapter of our lives, but to them, we are their whole story. As a sitter, my goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for while you are away. I understand how important routines are, so I do my best to follow your pet’s normal schedule and provide plenty of attention, companionship, comfort, and playtime. About: I have grown up with big dogs since I was little as well as 2 cats! I’ve been with huskies and pomskies as well as labradors and shepherd dogs! I can take care of high energy and low energy dogs! I love cats as well! I know their temperament and how to approach them! My friends have had pit bulls which I do not discriminate against! I have helped with raising puppies and taking care of sick dogs, I promise to treat your pet with the utmost respect and care as if they were my own child! I am working part time at Starbucks and I work on Wednesday’s Thursday's and Sunday's, other than that I have morning classing Monday-Friday and I am good! I do online school so my schedule is very flexible for leaving in the mornings, and sometimes afternoons! At my home we have a big back yard and it is fenced in, we let our animals inside the house as well as outside, I don’t do pet care in my home because we have 4 big dogs and two cats and that would just be stressful on our dogs and cats as well as the dogs or cats I’m taking care of!
About: I had a lot of cats and dogs growing up, and I was the neighborhood dog sitter basically from the time I could ride a bike until I left for college. I know for many people today their pets are a furry part of the family, so I would treat them with the same love and care I give my cats and dobies, and make sure your animals are genuinely cared for while you are away. About: With every house sitting or with ten dog walking sessions I will draw your pet! (No extra fee) I grew up with two kitties, Daphne and Velma (yes like Scooby Doo!) and one dog, Ruby. And now that I am an adult I have a high energy, silly kitty named Pearl! Growing up I was responsible for walking Ruby every day after school and on the weekends. I was also Velma's preferred human, she would join me while I did my homework and even when I left to college my mom would send me pictures of her on my pillow. (Daphne was a wall flower and stuck to herself for the most part haha) Pearl is my kitty with full energy! I play at least five times a day, 30 minutes each with her and I have been doing clicker training. She successfully has no issues with nail trimming, going to the vet, and is learning new commands. I enjoy hiking in the Sandia Foothills so I would love to take you doggie out there or in your local neighbor hood! I will match your furry friend's energy, so if they prefer to sit on the couch for cuddles, I am more than happy to do so! I am currently working part time working on my children's graphic novel pitch so I have plenty of availability to spend time with your fur baby! I have availability from 9am-10pm. On hotter days I prefer to walk your pups before noon or after 5pm evening so they don't overheat. I would love to meet your pet first before we work together (no charge). That way you can let me know of any health or behavioral concerns and your furry friend isn't scared when a stranger shows up! I let your pet dictate our interactions. (Holding out my hand for them to sniff, giving space if your kitty has, "airplane ears" or if your dog has a, "whale eye,"). I am also experienced in redirection, if your dog is barking I'll get the tennis ball going.
About: I have grown up with cats and dogs and have plenty of experience taking care of both! From taking walks, feeding, bathing and light grooming, I am no stranger to the nitty gritty! Especially when it comes to paying close attention and giving proper care to each pet! Currently I have a 3 legged cat named Frodo who enjoys going on trail walks and hikes. So I’m definitely open to unconventional and adaptive approaches to exercise/feeding/grooming! I hope to lend a hand in caring for your fluffy friend! I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time during the week to make stop in visits and go for walks! As well as make time for your pets on the days I do work too. Using a leash on walks, going to fenced in spaces to play and making sure theres water ready and available during these times :) Making accommodations for each pet is important to me!
About: Mostly I’ve taken care of dogs and cats, including seniors, pups and kittens. I am sensitive to and will want to get them care if an emergency arises. I love to love them all. Presently I am flexible to meet pet parent needs. I do need 1 day notice for planning 🙂 and ensuring I am prepared for your pets. Presently I am able to provides services at your home only ( except for very young puppies and kittens who can stay with me if needed) -in your home I’m most familiar with cats and dogs. I am glad to keep your pets environment fresh during visits including waste clean up, hair brush or deshedding with your tools, refresh food, water bowls as needed. I will have non-toxic cleaners for hard surfaces if needed.

About: I absolutely love dogs, and will treat your baby like mine. I got into this because finding good care for my dog is such a stressful experience as my tolerance for risk is extremely low. I am a nervous dog mom and will care for your pets like they are my own, they will be safe and secure with me and you will get as many updates as you would like. I’m available for boarding on the weekends as well as from Tuesday- Wednesday night. I work in ABQ as well so if you need someone to stay at your house during the week while you are on vacation I am happy to do that as well. In clients home I want to make sure I have a good understanding of their routine and behavior. Having a high level overview of your dog will help me care for them. A former roommates dog had a thing for people on skateboards so when we were on walks, I knew I needed to hold him tight as they were passing. Understanding your dogs quirks will help me care for them.
