The only time I can recall not having a dog was the first couple years in the Navy because I was out to sea so much. I love dogs of all sizes! I currently have a 10 year old weimaraner of my own Ari. So your precious pup will have someone to play with while staying with me. I take my own dog on walks/hikes, to dog park, runs, and swimming when we can find water for her. For being in Navy veteran and nurse, I am responsible and will take good care of your pup. Plus, there is vet not even .25 miles from home, if something where to go array which is not likely. I live with my husband and we both love spending time with animals. I work for the film industry and would love to pet sit your pet while I’m in between jobs. Productions have slowed down a lot over the past few years, so I have time currently. I have a larger fenced in yard that can actually be divided into 2 separate yards. Pets are allowed on our furniture and encouraged to sleep in the bedroom with us at night.

I deeply enjoy time spent with animals which is why housesitting has always been ideal for me! I myself have multiple dogs and cats that are well cared for and your animals will receive the same attention and care! I am a student at UNM, so most morning I do have to head to campus around 9-10 am. All morning care would be handled before then. My classes have me on campus no longer than 4-5 hours before I would be able to check on your animals. Weekends I work 6-9 hour shifts, but if care requires less gaps between visits this time can be taken off to give your pets around the clock care. This would require at minimum 2 weeks notice and cannot be guaranteed. I am comfortable giving pill or liquid medication for your pets. As well as walking any size dog as long as some leash training is in place. I normally will wash the sheets and towels used if staying overnight! I am very cleanly and will leave your home and pets clean or cleaner than when yall left!

About: I’ve dog sat for most of my life, I have a love for all dogs and deeply believe dogs are family and should be treated and cared for as such I currently work full time on the weekends so I am usually off on weekdays and would love some company cuddling on the couch or walks I have a fenced yard and almost a half acre to run around. I have two beagles and a little yorkie that will keep your pup company.

“Wendy was great. She sent me pics of him, gave me updates of the situation, and asked if there was anything else she could do to keep Almond comfortable. Wendy let me know immediately that Almond started howling in the middle of the night. I wasn't sure what was going on since he never did that at home. My initial thought was he was missing me and home. And because of his age, I believe he got disoriented and lost and couldn't identify where he was at. Wendy did follow the instructions I left and asked if there was anything more she could do. I appreciate Wendy giving Almond the extra care he needed. Thanks again..”
