About: I mostly have experience with medium to larger dogs. I love going on walks so I will take pets along for the journey. I grew up with bulldogs and I’ve personally owned German Shepards and Huskies. I am currently in between jobs and preparing for a certification test for signed language interpreting. I have plenty of free time for pets and love to get out and about like going for walks, hikes and enjoying the sun. I have a private small patio with many dogs parks in my apartment complex. About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats my entire life. Since I was 12, it’s been my responsibility to take care of our English Setter. This began with me helping to train him. My role was to reinforce the lessons taught at the PetSmart classes. I’ve regularly walked, bathed, and taken to the vet our dog as well. I love animals of all kinds and care a lot about giving them the loving attention they deserve. I currently work part time 6 days a week, with Sundays off. About: My name is Julia! I’m new to Rover but not new to dog sitting! I have a dog named Dixie. Dixie is a Miniature Australian Shepherd and loves to play! We love to do everything together including car rides, going to the park, stores, walks, games, and enrichment activities! I have raised dogs my whole life but now I have Dixie. I am a huge worrier about leaving my dog with someone so I understand how important it is to have a safe place for your dog while you work or have vacations and that’s what I’m here for! I think it’s important to give dogs their best life possible 🤍 All dogs must be up-to-date on their flea and heartworm medicine. For Daycare: I currently work full time. I am off on Tuesdays so I can take some bookings on Tuesdays. I am pretty open on the weekends. When I go out, I bring Dixie everywhere with me, so I can bring yours too! For Boarding: I can take dogs for boarding, however on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays your dog would have to be crated for about 3-4 hours in the afternoon since no one will be home. Saturday and Sunday boarding I would be home all day! I have a fenced yard with certain areas blocked off that Dixie or other dogs should not go into. My gate is locked. I walk Dixie once or twice a day and play outside with her. I hangout inside when it’s hot out and play inside the house! I always make sure there is water and of course plenty of treats available!

Drop-In: Depending on our discussion during the Meet & Greet, I will swing by your house according to the schedule we’ve set up. I will make sure the water is fresh and the food bowl has plenty of food. (My job is to make sure the animal(s) know they are being cared for and that they don’t have to stress about whether or not they will starve to death - I’m thinking of cats especially here who see the bottom of the food bowl and start to panic. Not on my watch!) Walk: I’ll be at your house at the time(s) we’ve discussed, put on the collar and leash, and set out on the adventure. My habit is to sing as I walk so that any other critter has a chance to get out of sight - a lesson learned by startling a skunk. It is important that I know if the neighborhood is friendly or if folks keep to themselves. Do(es) the dog(s) visit friends on the trail? or should I keep them on their own?
About: I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs and cats for as long as I can remember, giving me firsthand experience with their unique personalities, needs, and proper care. More recently, I was a member on another pet sitting website when I was a student at a university in Paris,France, where I had experience taking care of dogs and cats in my own apartment for a few different families for a period of time.
