From the start, she was so accommodating and kind, and she even met with us for two walks before Azula’s stay, which made a huge difference in helping us feel comfortable. I have very detailed (and sometimes neurotic) instructions when it comes to my dog, and Hossanna never once made me feel bad about that. She was patient, understanding, and clearly cared about doing things right for Azula. She sent us many thoughtful photos throughout the stay, and it was obvious Azula was comfortable, happy, and safe in her care. About: Since starting with Rover I have gone from a pet "empty-nester" and working part time, to finding my own rescue dogs and not working outside the home at all! I'm looking for dogs that fill my house with joy and who I can pamper, and walk, and play and just hang out with. Most days I'll be available to spend quality one-on-one time with your dog. I've got a great fenced and gated back yard with sun and shade, a house that is pet friendly, and a neighborhood that is full of parks and sidewalks for leisurely walks. I'm looking for well-behaved and socialized dogs. I don't want them to dig, bark excessively, pee in the house, or be aggressive - even a little. I'm an experienced dog sitter who has been working with Rover since 2016, and I've been a dog and cat owner for over 30 years. My caring for your dog will include finding out what they want and are used to, and making sure they receive it, so they will feel happy and safe. I will be home most of the days that your pet is staying with me. We will take walks and they will be able to go in and out of the house as they desire. I'm also known for being available for ball fetch and tug of war! I have a fenced in yard and a house that is safe for animals of all sizes. If your pet is crate trained please bring their crate, and don't forget their bed, which will be their comfort zone at night. My dog enjoys visitors and is not possessive about her space, toys or food. I'm focused on pet care, and generally don't leave the dogs alone more than a couple of hours at a stretch. The household rises early and it's lights out by 9 PM. My back yard is enclosed with a wall and two gates. I live in a residential area and it is quiet and peaceful inside and out and I am able to keep the dogs separated from doors to the outside should we be welcoming four-legged or two-legged guests.
“I met Elaine and her doggies about a year ago. My dogs finally stayed at her house for four nights last month, and then for one day last week. My dogs had already met her dogs a year ago, and when they met up again, they were like old pals. No growling or hassling. It was perfect! I got daily updates and pictures from Elaine. It was so comforting! And my dogs did great at her house and with her dogs, and it was just the best! I booked a full-day stay last week, and they were literally going INSANE when we were driving into her neighborhood. That tells me a lot about their experience there! I feel completely comfortable leaving my dogs at Elaine's, whether it's for a day or a week! This is the best thing EVER!!!!”

She was very responsive and took the time to meet me and my pup beforehand, which made me feel comfortable right away. My pup was tired from the day and all the activities, but she handled her with both care and confidence. About: Hello! I am very experienced in any and all dog needs. I work from home, can provide enriching walks, and also have a huge fenced in back yard. I live with one very well trained and friendly dog of my own and am passionate about giving dogs amazing experiences! I work from home, so I can spend as much time with your pup as you'd like! Typically, I leave my house for the gym once a day. I take care of every dog like they are my own. I have one well-trained and friendly pup of my own that yours can play with while they are here! There is a large and safe area for them to run around outside, as well as be cared for inside. No rooms or surfaces are off limits for pets, aside from sleeping in my bed.

About: I started volunteering at vet clinics in 2006. I've been petsitting since 2012, including dogs, cats, exotic birds, chickens, rabbits, and guinea pigs. I am experienced with special needs animals, elderlies, and those recovering from surgery. I've completed over 100 volunteer hours walking rescue dogs at Animal Humane New Mexico (AHNM). About: Personally trained and cared for 30+ dogs. Proud owner of a German Shepherd named Blitzen and I've cared for multiple pets at the same time over the years. I firmly believe exercise is necessary for happy owners and pets alike. Leadership never turns off. I live off a simple and disciplined schedule. I'm almost always up before 05:00 with the exception of weekends and the first things I do as part of my morning routine is let the dogs out, meditate, and then take my dog Blitzen for a run. I have a large backyard that is enclosed by walls. Every pup I house I exercise, as it's important for their mental health (and mine), and it helps them acclimate to a new environment. I've trained multiple dogs and I'm adapted to recognizing and preventing unwanted fights and scenarios of that nature. I care for all pets in the same manner and typically follow leadership strategies recommended by Cesar Milan & Don Sullivan such as implementing rules, boundaries, and limitations as well as showing affection at the appropriate time so as not to encourage nervous and aggressive energy. Dogs have been a large part of my well-being and happiness and I understand that they have specific needs as well. Leadership to me entails leading my own life and practicing personal integrity. Every pup I've met or trained offers new opportunities for patience and learning and I'm happy to accept that challenge.

About: I had a lot of cats and dogs growing up, and I was the neighborhood dog sitter basically from the time I could ride a bike until I left for college. I know for many people today their pets are a furry part of the family, so I would treat them with the same love and care I give my cats and dobies, and make sure your animals are genuinely cared for while you are away. I know what it means to be a good and responsible sitter, and I can guarantee if you trust me with your pets you will not regret it! I'm offering drop-in sitting and dog walking, and I cannot wait to have the opportunity to meet your pets. I work full time, but am available outside of standard working hours to spend plenty of time with your pups! I have pets of my own so I know how important it is to spend time with them & make sure they are happy while you are away. When caring for pets, I always make sure to guarantee they have a comfortable and clean environment as well as plenty of play time (for their benefit & because I just love dogs!)
