(I have yet to have a dog howl as I sang, though the huskies were very talkative.) Drop-In: Depending on our discussion during the Meet & Greet, I will swing by your house according to the schedule we’ve set up. I will make sure the water is fresh and the food bowl has plenty of food. (My job is to make sure the animal(s) know they are being cared for and that they don’t have to stress about whether or not they will starve to death - I’m thinking of cats especially here who see the bottom of the food bowl and start to panic. Not on my watch!) Walk: I’ll be at your house at the time(s) we’ve discussed, put on the collar and leash, and set out on the adventure. My habit is to sing as I walk so that any other critter has a chance to get out of sight - a lesson learned by startling a skunk. It is important that I know if the neighborhood is friendly or if folks keep to themselves. Do(es) the dog(s) visit friends on the trail? or should I keep them on their own?
About: In college I was a house and pet sitter. I have had pets since I was in elementary school and am now a senior. I currently have three dogs of my own. About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats my entire life. Since I was 12, it’s been my responsibility to take care of our English Setter. This began with me helping to train him. My role was to reinforce the lessons taught at the PetSmart classes. I’ve regularly walked, bathed, and taken to the vet our dog as well. Brian and Jerri arranged a meet and greet which was great so we could discuss Azuki's needs as well as the rules of their home. Azuki spent 4 days with them and she came home soooooo happy. Brian was great communicating with me and sent me pictures to show me Azuki was doing well. It was the first time I have left Azuki with someone and felt totally safe and secure that she was being taken care of (even when I have had dogsitters in my own home!) so i didn't feel the need to keep checking on her. Azuki had tons of pets and playtime. We immediately booked our next stay because it went so well! Thank you Brian and Jerri!!!!”
