About: I’ve always had a variety of pets in my house. Growing up my family cared for dogs, turtles, fish, hamsters, frogs, hermit crabs, and chickens. We never owned a cat because my mom is allergic to them but since I moved in with my auntie during university, I have lived with one and have loved it! With my grandma, we currently have 6 dogs! We had two (a chihuahua mixed with poodle and another mixed dog) who are the parents of the other four. I was the only one in my house present when my doggy gave birth to all her babies and I was more than excited to be there with her :) I’m a full-time university student at NMSU. Boarding: If your dog is being boarded with me, they’ll need to be friendly with other dogs, including my playful pup and occasionally my roommate’s small Shih Tzu-Yorkie mix. This volunteer work at my job shadow (on resume) has given me hands-on experience handling different animal breeds and understanding the deep emotional bond between pets and their owners. I observed a cat surgery, the importance of aftercare and recovery. I’ve studied a Certified Veterinary Technologies performing a venipuncture safely. Growing up I had a lot of animals ranging from snakes, gerbils, hamsters, birds to cats and dogs. In a sense it taught me a lot of responsibility at a young age. I’ve had years of experience understanding the right diet/nutrition, structured hygienic health, behavioral patterns/management and medication needed for fuzzy friends! Currently I have OPEN availability! No furry companion is too big or too small to provide dietary/nutritional feeding times, potty breaks, midday check-ins, local dog walks, structured hygiene, health tracking & emergency preparedness! About: I had a lot of cats and dogs growing up, and I was the neighborhood dog sitter basically from the time I could ride a bike until I left for college. I know for many people today their pets are a furry part of the family, so I would treat them with the same love and care I give my cats and dobies, and make sure your animals are genuinely cared for while you are away. I know what it means to be a good and responsible sitter, and I can guarantee if you trust me with your pets you will not regret it! I'm offering drop-in sitting and dog walking, and I cannot wait to have the opportunity to meet your pets. I work full time, but am available outside of standard working hours to spend plenty of time with your pups! I have pets of my own so I know how important it is to spend time with them & make sure they are happy while you are away. When caring for pets, I always make sure to guarantee they have a comfortable and clean environment as well as plenty of play time (for their benefit & because I just love dogs!)
